My favorite place to grab a quick bite to eat when I’m in the Valley… My usual is their chili cheese dog with Diet Coke. There’s just something about their chili that I absolutely love. Friendly customer service and outdoor seating area to eat… Plenty of parking. I love it!

Although I love the hot dogs and have since I was a child, the gentleman working there today handled the dirty money and then touched my hot dogs! I hope the owner reads this And I see him wear gloves next time!!! So gross!!!

Chili dogs! Been here a couple of times with my coworkers and I love their hot dogs. The actual hot dog is very tasty and paired with the mustard, chili, onions… gosh that sounds so good right about now. Definitely a place to go back to

You either love them or you don’t. You can only get this classic Chili Dog at Cupids! Love the place, and have for years. Remember though, no fries. They have chips, fountain drinks and Mexican Cokes(the best). Two dogs, chips, a Mexican Coke and you got Cupids!

This place offers plain and simple a fast food style chili dog. Nothing more nothing less. Some go for the nostalgia others mainly for the food. I went because one day I said: «What can I eat that will instantly make me hate myself and regret my decisions?» My answer: Chili dog. This is not a knock against Cupid’s by any means just an accurate description on one’s thought process when deciding to eat chili dog. To confuse it with anything else other than it’s intended purpose is a mistake. Unless you are Sonic the Hedgehog a chili dog is probably not something one should really ever consider eating, even out of jest. However shit happens and you decide to eat a chili dog so you might as well see it through. Cupid’s provides a decent solution to this answer. Not the worst chili dog I have ever had nor the best if there is such a thing. But for the price and quickness of service you might as well get them here if you are in Reseda.

On my list of hotdog places to try. Not bad but not super. The dog was a little over boiled so not much flavor or snap when you bite into it. The chili was also a little bland. It maybe that i am used to carneys or pinks. Nice customer service though.

Best chili dogs!!! There’s always that place that you love to go to but sometimes aren’t as good as others. NOTTHISPLACE. They are persistent on how fresh they prepare everything and the flavors! Whenever I crave chili… I come here.

I heard a lot of hype about this place so I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. We made a special trip from Malibu since we were closest to the area and we were disappointed. The chili dogs were average and they didn’t even offer fries. Needless to say, I don’t plan on going back. If you want a delicious chili dog, go to PCH dogs in Orange. So much better!

One thing you never have to worry about at the Canoga Park family location is consistency. When I was a kid bowling at Canoga Park Bowl back in 1972, we would always walk across the street for a couple of Cupid’s hot dogs. We were there 44 years later last weekend and the taste is the same. Same dog, same bun and most importantly, same chili. This location is a staple of the west valley. Other hot dog joints come and go, but Cupid’s remains the best.

I grew up on Archwood Street which is one block away from Cupids on Vanowen. As kids, we walked there to get dinner for our family which included one hot dog no bun for our dog, Hamburger(that really was his name). Our whole family loved Cupids and to this day, my sister and our families still love the original Cupids on Vanowen. Great customer service and of course the best hot dogs(chili dogs) ever.

I have been coming here for over 45 years!!! Best chili dogs in LA, bar none! Nothing fancy, great chili dogs, chips and a soda. Grew up just down the street and only able to get here occasionally these days, but never miss an opportunity to stop in if I am even mildly close,(basically in the Valley), the dogs are that good. I have turned my wife and kids on to Cupid’s as well and they love it just as much as I do. Hope they never close!

In 2016, Cupid’s celebrates 70 years — they must be doing something right! Everyone has their favorite hotdog whether it’s Oscar Mayer, Pink’s, Nathan’s or Dodger Dogs. Mine is Cupid’s and has been for more years than I care to list here. I was introduced to Cupid’s when I started attending Pierce College and often took lunch at the nearby Canoga Park Cupid’s. Later, when I started CSUN, I dined at the Northridge Cupid’s. In the years since I have enjoyed Cupid’s dogs at their former North Hollywood location and later on, their San Luis Obispo location — now closed. These days I frequent the Simi Valley restaurant the most with occasional visits to the stands in Northridge and Canoga Park. The staff members at each location are friendly and helpful. As to their fare, the actual hotdog is made to a very secret formula. It has excellent flavor and when bitten into, has just the right«pop.» The bun is fresh and light. I’m particular to their dog when it’s dressed with just mustard and chili, no onions — «très bien!» At any location, these Cupid’s «no O» dogs are fabulous! Recommended.

After living in the valley my whole life, today was my first time trying this place. I must say«the hot dogs were okay» this place is located next to Dalgas burgers. It’s been around for over 65 years or more. The restaurant doesn’t have indoor seating. They do have outdoor seating with benches. A bit dark for a late dinner… Very dim lighting. Our better off eating at home or in your car! You order at the small window. They don’t have French fries — they only carry potato chips. They have only 3 styles of hot dogs — the Reuben, triangle or the original cupid. The customer service by the girl who helped us tonight was«okay» or she had no energy. She did have our order ready within 5 mins. After, tipping her $ 1.00 for her service, her attitude changed a bit. I don’t think I would go back for hot dogs. The chili was a bit bland and needed a bit more salt or it was probably missing some sort of ingredient.
