Fries are amazing! :] the burgers are like the appetizers for this location, you come here for the fries!

Daglas has been around for quite some time. I’ve been here twice. once back in the day like 9 years ago and now again on Saturday 5÷28÷2016. This spot is more or those hole in the wall spots. Which I think are best for fatboy food. So I got a pastrami burger and a small chili cheese fries. My company got a pastrami fries combo.
Now about the pastrami. It’s rather chewy and not too flavorful. Almost watered down taste. The chili cheese fries… now I’ve had some chili cheese fries in the past. I’m fat. I know these things. But this chili was sweet. Like oddly sweet that didnt fair too well with the fries and cheese. It tasted weird. I really couldnt wrap my head around it. I had to toss most of it away. The burger was ehhhh. The patty should have been fried a little longer to give it more of a cooked taste rather than a bland meat taste.
Honestly the only thing I would come back for are the fries. They are some of the best fries around. They remind me of Boardwalk fries that were in Northridge mall. So bomb.
Sorry to say it though I dont think I’d be back here. If I do it would be for the fries and a chili dog from next door.
Oh and parking is tight. Very tight. But you park next door behind Cupid’s and walk over.

3 stars for being able to call and order my food and then be able to pick it up in 10 minutes with a smiling staff. Other than this, I have a few complaints. Picked up some chili cheese fries last night and wasn’t too pleased. The fries were salty as ever and half of them were burnt, causing me to throw them away. They were only $ 4, but I was looking forward to a late night craving and thought this would satisfy it, but turned out to be very disappointed. This was my first time being at this place and probably my last. Sucks too because it’s right around the corner from the crib!

Great food but just one small detail. The girl at the register was kind of rude n so was the cook. Other than that its a great place for lunch

Don’t get me wrong– it’s still good. My burger was sort of bland. I remember it used to be so juicy. Maybe their just having an off day.
The fries are still delicious. You still get a giant mountain of fries. (They make your burger seem like it’s not even there).

One of my fav places to go when I get off work. Delicious chicken Caesar salad. Chili fries to die for! Affordable too! The gentlemen there are friendly. 5 stars!

The fries are amazing and you get fries for days not like other places where their large looks like you ordered a small
Its rare when i eat there usually call place order to go
The only reason for the 4 stars is the service can be a little better i asked a guy at the window a question all he did was close the window and pointed to the other window i mean he could have said something instead of being rude
But i keep going back despite the service because i love the burgers from here

I hadn’t eaten at Daglas for many years, so I decided to come in again. I don’t get all the Hype on Unilocal :\
As far as appearance, it hasn’t changed much over the years. Try NOT to park at their own parking; there are only 3 spots, and difficult to park and get out, if you have a big car or truck.
It’s been so long since I’ve eaten here that I don’t remember how their food used to be. But I do remember that they used to give you a lot of fries with your order; well, that is still the case :)
I was in the mood for a Char Broiled Burger, so that is why I stopped in. I ordered the #2 Meal which is a Double Cheese Burger, Seasoned Fries and a Large Drink for $ 9.25
The food was prepared fairly quickly. I was watching the guy make my food, so I saw it from start to finish. The patties are the average, thin, Restaurant supplier type with fillers; I wish they used better meat.
Aside from Char Broiling, there is nothing special about the burgers. The fries were ok; it seems that they hand cut the potatoes at the restaurant and put seasoned salt on them, once fried.
I would NOT go out of my way to eat here again; I should’ve gone to the Habbit. lol

I wouldn’t call it a death wish, but had a craving for that «last meal» experience. Takeout from Daglas… As usual, the pastrami combo. Just as good as ever. The fries — too many but so good I kept eating until my belly felt like it was going to bust. No need for catsup. Finger licking good (to use a catchy advertising catch phrase completely out of context)! Slept like a baby and, it appears, woke up the next morning. Can’t wait to do it all over again. But I hope I can get myself out of the pastrami «rut» and try something else.

Good burgers, fries are seasoned and delicious. Got a bacon burger with grilled onion. The bacon was delicious because it’s bacon…

I’ve been wanting to try this plan out for a while now. I tried the pastrami sandwich and it had a good amount of meat and was really tasty. The fries are so good, a must here!
If you’re looking for something healthy this place isn’t it. Who cares though! Live a little! I’m coming back and trying something else and will definitely get the fries.

I passed this spot for months and was like, Ima stop by one day. So, my boss tells me that they have thee best fries in the history of fries. I’m like, that’s it! I’m going. Never been so underwhelmed in my life. The fries are not all that and the burger was blah.
I won’t be going back. Broken dreams and wasted calories.

This place is absolutely delicious.
The pastrami sandwich is huge. Layers and layers and layers of thin juicy meat, crunchy bread and lots of mustard… omg I’m drooling.

It gets better!!! This place gives you french fries by the freaking pound! A mountain of fries with the best ranch dressing I’ve ever had and you can call me a fan of this restaurant any day of the week.
Definitely a must try spot.

Nice staff, easy to order, and they prepare your to-​go order efficiently. If I’d looked at the Unilocal photos, the pastrami sandwich should have been my order… but I didn’t.
Wasn’t really a fan of the two thin patties on the ¼ lb. cheeseburger. Didn’t taste fresh at all. I didn’t find the fries to be a good quality, either. And chili and cheese on top seemed overly-​processed. I couldn’t take more than two bites of this huge order. Guess I ordered wrong.

I’ve been to Daglas twice so far. I’ll probably check it out again in the future. The hot pastrami and the fries is probably what my order will consist of and those seem be the favorites here. The pastrami sandwich is 6’inch sandwich that comes with their pastrami, mustard, and pickles; there’s a good amount of pastrami on that sandwich. Came here last week and ordered the hot dog with everything, the hot pastrami, and a small order of chili cheese fries to go.
Friendly service, parking nearby, and quick service.
One thing I did not like is the recipe for the chili. I find the chili to be a bit sweet for my liking but a friend has said the same thing as well.

This place didn’t live up to the Unilocal-​hype for me. I ordered a Patty Melt and the burger was just so-​so and the fries weren’t the crispy delights everyone says they are. Disappointing.

Daglas. Oh how you make my burgers so delicious every time I come. The cheeseburger with all the toppings not only hit the spot, but the pound of fries you add w the combo makes it hard to even finish the meal. Your burritos and pastrami are even delicious. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a very long time. So I put it on my calendar and when the reminder came on, off to Daglas I go. I got the pastrami with fries. The pastrami was very good. The sandwich was filled with meat, pickles and mustard. I can eat this all day. The fries were good but a little too much seasoned salt for me. If I get fries next time, I will tell them no salt.

When I think of going to Daglas, it’s the same feeling I got when I would go to an ex girlfriends house to «chill». You know it’s not a good idea & you will hate yourself afterwards. Guess what! You still go despite all the negatives lmao.
Daglas is a essentially a hole in the wall joint that sits behind a small shopping center & in front of cupids. It not cool or hip. The interior is outdated, small, and just plain ugly. All of that doesn’t matter how ever.
Daglas is my guilty pleasure for a saucy burger and over seasoned delight they call fries. I came her with a friend & ordered a #2(double cheeseburger, soda, «small» fries) the priced totaled at $ 9.58. Who cares about the price. While Daglas is known for their French fries, I honestly love the double cheese burger. Something about the way they put the mustard and ketchup on the melting cheese to create this gooey goodness makes this burger a notch above the rest. They serve the burgers with thinly sliced lettuce strings that give a crunch but don’t take away any of that meaty flavor. The patties are cooked to a perfect char every time. everything works like a combo attack on my tastebuds. That gooey goodness feels overwhelming for you??? Well neutralize it with these fries covered in seasoning salt. just to clarify, don’t let the «small» sizing fool you. Chances are, you will not be able to finish your fries.
Look I know this place is ugly & will give you the worst bathroom poops after lol. I get that and I accept it. I allow myself to eat here once every 6 months so my stomach can recover. I love this place & most people leave, get home, shit for 30 minutes, and go to sleep happy! Thank you butter & salt as well! Without you, this plate would probably suck!
