Harmony Nails

I was looking for a new nail salon after having received shoddy treatment and workmanship at other salons. Unilocal reviews led me to Harmony Nails, and I haven’t been disappointed. The salon is neat, clean, and contemporary. I still get acrylic nails, and Landon has been doing a great job. He’s really personable, which carries a lot of weight with me. I went in the first time, and he «fixed» the bad work that I’d had done at another salon. There is a large selection of nail polishes, with a wide variety of colors. The nail dryer seems really quick! I’m totally dry in 10 minutes. I was looking for a permanent spot, and I think I’ve found it.

I LOVE this place. I lived in Winston Salem 8 years and didn’t find this spot until a year before I moved to Charlotte, NC. I wish I would of found it sooner. I have been in Charlotte 2 months and every nail spot I go to has not given me the exceptional experience I get at Harmony Day Spa. I am even considering commuting just to continue to get my nails done here, sounds crazy but that’s just how great of a job Landon does! If you go here, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

I have tried so many different nail processes from silk wrap, acrylic nails and most recently, gel nails. I do not like gels because they have to peal the gel all the way off which is damaging to my real nail. Silk wrap seems to be the easiest on the nail, but has become a lost art. Harmony was recommended to me so I gave it a try. Mostly, what I liked is the process they use with the powder or «pearls.» The Technician, Tina, was fast and professional. My nails have held up very well and I will now go there regularly. It is a relief to be confident in the process and technician!
8 months later… since posting this review, I have gone back to having natural nails. There is nothing like the real thing… baby. Growing out damaged nails requires patience. .all worth it. The miracle potion is «nail-​aid collagen nail builder» by Sallie Hanson. Follow the instructions and you will have excellent results.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I’ve been searching for a place to take my disabled grandfather to get his first pedicure, but many of the nail salons in the area are unable to accommodate someone in a wheelchair. They were the only ones willing to take on the challenge. The staff here went above and beyond to make him comfortable! Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is beautiful inside! I have found my new nail salon! I really don’t get my nails done often but when I need to I will be coming to see Jenny here. At other area nail salons I have just felt that the manicures have not been great quality; people seem to rush through it and not evenly coat my nails in polish and leave a big space at the cuticle. Not the case here! Jenny took her time with every nail, even though I was there past closing she did not rush to finish, she took her time.
I went in on a Wednesday night and it was pretty slow. If you don’t want a wait I would suggest heading in then. They have about 8 – 10 pedicure chairs so if you had a group and wanted to come in for pedicures the setup is really nice. Close enough where you could talk to everyone but not be on top of each other.
The basic pedicure took more time than the basic pedicures at other places. They scrub your legs down, use a hot towel and then moisturize. Same with the manicure.
The place is very clean. Jenny mentioned they just remodeled a few months ago and updated everything. While I was there, there was a woman who must have swept the place five times to ensure it was spotless for closing. If you are interested in a nail design ask Jenny, she will show you her Pinterest page of things she can do. I will probably go for a design next time.
For a pedicure, manicure, and drying time I was there for about two hours. It came to $ 37, which was very reasonable for the level of care and service I received. The plaza/​exterior isn’t much to look at but don’t let that deter you since the interior is very nice. I will be back!

The shop was just remodeled. It looks so nice. Everything is new. I always have good time here, very calming and relaxing. Should try their deluxe pedicure, it’s awesome. My favorite is herbal spa pedi!!!
Also, the staffs are super friendly. Ask for Jenny. She’ll never disappoint you!

They just remodel the place! New chairs great staff and love the relaxation. Michael is new you should stop by and get a pedi from him he did this awesome Lavender scrub.

This is my favorite spot in Winston to get my nails done! They are all extremely friendly and make sure that you walk out loving the color that you choose for your nails or toes.

One of my new favorite nail spas. The atmosphere is very relaxing. They have a waterfall constantly going and very soft music playing. I had gotten my acrylics done here probably about five times before I decided to take them off. Not because od anything they did, but because I work in a restaurant. Now, I get my eyebrows waxed there for $ 10. They take you to a room in the back and lay you on a huge, comfy couch. Normally I’m done in five minutes and they have always done a great job.

Excellent level of service. The salon was clean and all the equipment seemed fairly new. There were a lot of bonuses that you may not get at other places: hot towel, free drinks, massage, a really nice waxing room. I got a pedicure, manicure, and brow wax. The staff was very efficient and they went out of their way to make sure everything looked great. I don’t get my nails done very often, but I will be back. It was pretty crowded while I was there-​another great sign!

By far the best salon I’ve ever been to! Very calm, clean and friendly environment. You have to call in and make an appointment in advance though (it allows them to maintain great service). I’ve gotten pedicures and shellac manicures done here. They don’t rush through their clients, so they spend just the right amount of time providing quality work for each and every client.
