I don’t eat fast food and this is another reason why. I just wanted a biscuit. I rembember them as very good from my childhood. It was crazy gross and greasy and didn’t even taste like it was butter that made the greases. It was weird, maybe it’s just me and I’m not used to this type of food, but I do key loose every once in a while and I think I know a decent biscuit when I taste one. The service was not good, I felt like I was bothering the cashier. It also took a very long time for only ordering a biscuit. I didn’t even order a drink. Thankfully I wasn’t in a rush. If not for the biscuit, the service alone would turn me off enough to never go back. I wouldn’t suggest this location for anything, however I can’t comment on any of the other food, but I’m positive I will not be going back.

Just as the other reviews indicated, this is pretty terrible. I thought my food was pretty much worthless, I was really craving some seafood and this is a total disappointment. 2 stars is generous, I would give it more of a 1.5 My oyster strips are way too salty, the fried shrimps are all batter, where are the shrimps? My fries tasted better than the seafood, but they are nothing special. also ordered hush puppies, they are average, but tasted much better than the seafood. My fried fish lack of taste, it was cardboard like. Overall I spent about $ 13 at this place ordering a side of oyster strip, fries, hush puppies and battered shrimp and fish. My meal came with a side of slaw, but they were pretty terrible, sour and drenched in mayo. I felt like I was going to get a heart attack eating the food. Of course I was not expecting anything healthy, it is fried food after all, but the slaws were one of those experiences where as you are eating you feel your health is being jeopardized. I feel like I could have gotten a MUCH better meal at a seafood restaurant, maybe king’s crab shack. Sigh… This was such a disappointment.

First off, I have a soft spot for Long John Silver’s, since as a child that was the«treat» location. I still occasionally really enjoy their crispy breading, even if the hush puppies tend to be too greasy. It’s fast food, not haute cuisine, but sometimes it hits the spot. Unfortunately at this location, the adjective«fast» needs to be dropped. Four times I have tried the Liberty St. KFC/LJS and every single time I was asked to pull to the side and wait several minutes before my food was ready. I thought at first maybe I was just coming at a bad time, so I tried a peak time… and was one of six cars waiting for food. After four tries, I have completely given up on this location. If you want your food without an inordinate wait, go to the Hanes Mall Blvd location.
