We just left this place and if I could leave no stars I would. Im not sure if I went on a bad night or not but it was terrible. The food on the buffet look like it had been sitting there forever so me and my family decided to get our food cooked fresh at the grill. When we got it, it was fresh but completely dry and tasted burnt. At that point I did not want my family to suffer eating this food so we got up to leave. Upon checking out our bill was about $ 40 which it was not worth it at all. What makes it so bad was the cashier questioned why we didn’t leave a tip… seriously it was disgusting.(Very poor hospitality manners on this individuals part) I wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. The food and service is not at all what it is hyped up to be, but hey if you want to try this place go ahead. This was our first and last time we will ever eat at this restaurant again!

This place is pretty awesome as Asian Buffets go(i.e., this review is relative to similar businesses, not Delmonico’s in NYC). Good selection of sushi, hot dishes, and cold items. You can get white rice, which is a treat, since American’s seem obsessed with fried anything(and fried rice is fried) to the detriment of those who like rice flavored rice. Not a whole lot of actual Chinese dishes, since they give Americans the American version of Chinese food they crave, but it’s a nice variety. The price is very reasonable, the staff is nice, and the place is clean. All around a great place to eat a day’s worth of calories for one price.

I think the mistake I made here was I was expecting your average Chinese buffet, however it was far below average emphasizing the word far… For being a relatively new restaurant I was surprised on how dirty the interior was. With the exception of sweet and sour chicken everything kind of just had this very strange taste to it it I can’t explain it. I like my Chinese food pretty basic sweet and sour chicken sweet and sour pork pepper steak and those are the kind of things that I usually eat and can enjoy. I’ve had my share of general Tao’s chicken and this was the absolute worst I’ve ever had the egg rolls had some extremely weird flavor going on that I couldn’t quite pinpoint the spring rolls were good which ingredients are basically the same if I’m not mistaken. Needless to say we will not be back.

I can’t believe I’m going to pay for this meal. Why did I come here. I should have turned around when the overwhelming fishy smell hit me in the face as I entered. Lesson learned.

Great bullet and price as long as you don’t get the crab legs. Best selection of sushi for a Chinese bullet and lots of seafood! Also has make your own hibachi grill. Definitely recommend this place if your in town and want a great variety as well as an awesome price. Décor wise, also very new and clean. Service is what I expect at a bullet.

Last night we went for buffet in this place for the first time. As we entered there was no feeling like they are welcoming guest. It felt that the owner and the staff at reception don’t care. Anyways, I asked do you accept gastric bypass ID and offer child’s buffet price? They said yes and that they will consider as one child’s buffet price and an adult. I just wanted to give company to my sister who wanted to go to this buffet place, «known to be famous in the town». We were taken to the table by the waitress and she asked, «What would you like to drink?» & we asked is it included with the buffet? She replied with answer, «Yes» & we got what we wanted. Later, we were eating bit slow as per my doctor’s advise. I had barely had two to four chicken pieces with very little about three teaspoons and very little drink but I couldn’t eat more as my stomach was full. So, I asked are we allowed to take out our left over because I strictly don’t waste rather then throwing but after my gastric it is sometimes difficult to estimate. She replied, «Yes, but there will be extra charge as per weight». Anyways, she got the check which was for regular two adults, I asked there her that I think by mistake she charged for two adult buffet and also charged for the beverages and that is wrong according to what I was told while check in. She went to the owner and the one who checked us in. The owner said that is the correct Bill because you are not child, you are a very big adult in her half broken English and said I’ll offer you 10% discount but will not count child and will also charge for beverages. I showed my gastric bypass ID card from Stanford Hospital Bariatric department, Palo alto, CA and she yelled at me and said I don’t know this and later she showed my ID to other customers with my personal information which is not at all acceptable. I felt embarrassed and very insulted. I decided to pay and told her, «It’s not matter of money but you didn’t stick to your words as a well reputed restaurant owner». She didn’t bother and again yelled in front of other customers in line: I’m in restaurant business since 35 years and you are the first person. I just left without saying anything but I felt very insulted and will never go again.

As far a Chinese Buffets go, this one is very clean, but also very new. Hopefully the cleanliness stays up to par. The food selections are bountiful, including a Hibachi Grill, a large sushi selection, lots of seafood options, duck, frog legs, and all of the standard Chinese fare, plus a few American items. We have been three times now and experienced cold food on one visit as many people have commented on. We try to stick to the busy meal periods when you know items are constantly being replenished. As far as Chinese food goes, I would give it two stars compared to my favorites in San Francisco, Los Angeles and other big cities. But as far as local buffets go, they are a solid four stars. I haven’t found one worthy of five stars yet. Let me know if you know of one!

People have complained about an inspection rating of 82. I checked with my PhD eyes and it is currently 92. Still love this place!

I was very excited when I first found this buffet in Winston Salem. There’s a buffet with the exact same name and very similar front in Charlotte that is really good. With my hopes high, I decided to try this one for the first time. Good parts: good service, clean buffet and dining area; not so bad hibachi Not so good parts: not enough food choices compared to Tin Tin in charlotte. Less authentic in general

I have to re review this place. I cannot stress how wonderful it is to find a really great Chinese Buffet. My parents love going so I’ve been to a few all over and this is by far the winner. We’ve been back several times and it is consistently great. The Sushi is amazing. Such creativity in the rolls. They have standards but the«new» stuff is fantastic. The presentation is the same as an exclusive Sushi bar. So impressed with the quality.

They’re finally open!!! Lol. My family and I spent the day in Winston this passed weekend. We had been waiting for this place to open for a while, and since they now are, of course this is where we decided for dinner! My husband was very excited to see a hibachi grill. There’s nowhere near Winston(that I know of) that has an Asian style buffet AND a hibachi grill. He loves hibachi. Food was pretty good. Your typical buffet style. The Hawaiian chicken is very good. Service is good. Only problem is the hibachi cook was very unpleasant. He seemed to really hate his job and actually started to fuss at a customer in Chinese at one point. We will definitely be back! :)

I very much like excellent Americanized Chinese food, and I find no reason to be bashful or apologetic about that — the«authentic food» police be damned! Some people spend so much time and energy looking for the«real» thing(whatever the cuisine), and bemoaning the lack of the real thing, that they miss out on a ton of excellent dishes, especially when it comes to Pork BBQ, Americanized Chinese cuisine, and Tex-Mex food. This new, much anticipated restaurant is large, bright, and clean, and they offer up some excellent dishes of this particular branch of Chinese food — can’t speak as to the quality of the sushi or the hibachi here since I didn’t try them — and I never do at these buffet setups as they almost always disappoint, as do most afterthoughts in whatever area of endeavour. There are a large variety of dishes available here, though not quite as broad as at the 2 large buffets in Greensboro, or the one in Kernersville, but still plenty to choose from. Overall, I think the quality of the food here is at least a notch above any similar buffet in the Triad, especially when it comes to the shrimp and fish dishes. There were 5 or 6 shrimp dishes including Fried Butterflied, Spicy Shrimp(much like a Gen’l Tso’s dish), Scallion Shrimp, and several other s with boiled or steamed shrimp — in all, the shrimp tasted very fresh, very clean flavor. The usual staples of this type of buffet(Vegetable Fried Rice, Chicken Wings, Egg Rolls, Pepper Steak, Sesame Chicken, Gen’l Tso’s Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, etc) were all present, and all pretty good to very good, though the fried rice is a bit bland, and the egg rolls lack any crispness. The Black Pepper Chicken was good, though a bit on the sweet side, and the Spring Rolls were terrible, dry and tasteless, as were the couple of desserts we tried. There were some steamed clams that were pretty tasty, but the Pepper Steak was cold, really cold. This was the only dish that we found cold, everything else that should have been warm to hot, was. One thing that was a bit strange was that most of the folks filling their plates and eating were staff(we were in early), including the wait staff in our area, who sat across from us and ate the entire time we were there — service didn’t seem to suffer though. All in all, this is a place we’d come back to — the atmosphere is very nice, the pricing is reasonable, and the food is very nice — the overall quality is in line with non-buffets restaurants like Golden Dragon and Golden Wok. Now, we’ll see about the consistency of that quality.

The outside is amazing. So we were excited to finally try it. We get inside and a couple was being seated. The lady doing the seating was very bossy and pushy. As I waited I look up and see a 87.4 health grade… a B. So needless to say we walked out.

This restaurant was like any other Chinese buffets in terms of what kind of food they had. The best thing about this place was how clean it was. I can say that Tin Tin is one of the cleanest Chinese buffets I’ve ever been to! Their service was pretty decent and I didn’t feel gross when I ate(like I feel at some Chinese buffets…). Their food was pretty good and(seemed) fresh! My favorite was their wide variety of sushi. They even had sashimi(spicy tuna and salmon). If you ask the sushi chef for more, he’ll prepare it really quick and bring it out while you wait.

We had the lunch buffet. Everything item we tasted was bland and unseasoned, even the salad bar. The sweet tea even tasted liked watered down sugar water. The California roll sushi was the only sushi we tried because nothing was labeled and we recognized the ingredients, however, it fell apart on our plates and the pieces were small. What a big disappointment. Won’t be coming hear again. How does a grade 82 get to be a «B» rating? WTH?

I like it here ^^ I do agree with some of the other reviews that the food is not kept as hot as I would like but the food is still decent. At the hibachi area you can choose between the hibachi sauce and the teriyaki sauce. Don’t forget to tell the cook if you would like it spicy or garlic added to it.

Look people — this is a Chinese buffet. I don’t know what fairy tale buffets you have frequented in the past but in my mind this is a solid 4 stars — decent variety, good quality, made to order Hibachi grill and clean. Food choices are typical Chinese buffet fare with a solid side menu of Americana. Sushi is acceptable. The décor is clean and bright and the staff are attentive. The price is right for what they offer. My only gripe would be the amount of space given over to the salad bar and fruits — I would like to see more Chinese food up there. On the whole the family said they would be happy to eat there again which is an above average response from my stubborn kids.

Ok, this place probably drove ½ the residents of WS crazy in anticipation with the length of time it took this place to open… which resulted in heightened expectations that were unfortunately not met. I found it to be only a titch of an upgrade to your standard Chinese buffet. Sushi was decent, but the poor sushi maker was having issues keeping up with demand despite cranking them out as fast as he possibly could. Hibachi also was good and happy to see a good variety of veggies available including napa cabbage, but the sauces were just OK. I found the selections on the main bars to be the most disappointing. Everything seemed to be pretty run of the mill Chinese buffet food and the majority of the selections gave me the impression that they spent part of their lives in a freezer. The best 2 dishes for me were the scallion shrimp and sliced whole flounder(just be sure to check for pins on the latter). I am most definitely sure that I will be dragged back here by my Chinese buffet loving husband, but it is not somewhere I would otherwise typically go again.
