I got the Philly cheesesteak it was very good. The place looked a little shady, and there are renovations going on, so hopefully they’ll fix the place up to look a little more inviting. But I will continue to come back.

Love Daniel’s!!! Their food is fantastic, but more importantly the owner and his sons are fabulous people that truly care about their customers. None of them have ever met a stranger and they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Of course their sandwiches are second to none. This business is one of the many reasons I love Winter Garden! I wish them every continued success!

The Cheese stakes are great! I only wish the renovation would be quicker, the place itself is dated but dont let that scare you away! The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. They also do call ahead ordering which I suggest doing on a weekend so your food is ready when you arrive!

Clearly the best snack food/lunch/dinner/breakfast ever conceived!!! Brian, Harold, Maria and Frankie(Also Mama) are the friendliest people I have met here in Orlando. Literally, the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, even compared to Pat’s in Philly! GOHERE!!!

I heard rave reviews for this spot, and boy were they wrong. I went In with very high expectations not only for the food but the atmosphere and staff and was let down severely in every respect. My girlfriend went with me and warned me ahead of time how run down the place was and how bad the vibes were here but with all the hype I had to test the waters. We walked in and the place was a wreck. Boxes and broken down shelving littered the back half of what I think is a store. They sell dollar store weave and dusty old random other things. We waited at a display case to order and both got the«cheese steak» the food was mediocre at best. The bread was the best part. Unseasonably meat and a dab of cheese. Also found some lettuce harbored at the bottom of the sandwich. While we ate we were given a show. Three people who were either homeless on drugs or both wandered through during our visit. One talked with the«chef» and scored himself some free beer. He is sure to be back with goodies like that. The other two screamed obscenities at the staff and one of the workers apologized to us for the scene. The owners Frankie and Brian decided that this would be bad press and have since called me a liar and publicly mocked me for recanting this story to others. Needless to say I will not be going back. Even if the place wasn’t in complete disrepair and didn’t cater to people who could be a danger the food just isn’t worth it.

Put your doubts aside and GO! Delicious. Get it to go if you aren’t comfortable sitting in a dive in the neighborhood.

Is in a really bad location, didn’t feel safe at all, that’s why is getting 4 stars, because the food was great.

If you go through my post history at all, you will find that I am always looking for the best cheesesteak in town and I have heard a lot about this place through the Winter Garden grapevine. There are no actual pictures of the food here so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When you pull up the store looks abandoned. The sign on the side you see driving down the road is faded and barely legible. Inside, it looks as if it was recently looted. Shelves are empty and half filled. The lights are out in most of the drink coolers. It just looks like the whole place is about to go out of business. I ordered from the front counter and they wrote my order down on a ripped cigarette carton and I went to grab a soda and chips, careful to check the expiration date on each item. There are a collection of tables in the middle of the convenience store to sit at. So after I paid I sat down to wait for my food and watch college football on the one big Flat screen TV the have facing the tables. On to the food. I had the large cheesesteak with provolone, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. In short, it was pretty good. The bread was hard on the outside with a nice crunch as you bite into it. The mushrooms were canned and thus land and soggy, but the onions and peppers were fresh and grilled on the flat top. The meat could use a bit of seasoning but other than that it was a decent cheesesteak. It didn’t blow me away or anything and I probably won’t go out of my way for one because a place like Philly Connection is closer and about the same in quality. If I’m in the area though, I will probably stop in.

After all the recent good things I’ve read, the wife and I had to come try this out. We both really enjoyed the cheesesteak subs and fries. We were able to add and subtract the things we didn’t like and watched our sandwiches get«made to order». We definitely will be back to try the wings and burgers.

Best Cheesesteaks in town! Definitely a «hole in the wall» type place, but the food and the service are fantastic. We’ll definitely be back.

We went today to this small convenience store today to try their cheesesteak sub and I am glad we did. It was very yummy and very big! Mushrooms are $ 1 extra. They also have wings, fries and burgers which we did not try but I am sure we will someday. Very nice folks too.
