Not a big fan of Verizon wireless because they have the most expensive cell phone plans but their coverage is better than Sprint. The people that work in the store are very outgoing but sometimes come across as if you’re bothering them. They always seem to want your business but also seem to have wondering eyes when a female walks by. Kind of annoying I must say.

The question should be why does Verizon put a store in a location where there is barely one bar of service??? Typical Verizon is why, worried about stock price as opposed to actually selling a cellular service that is worth a damn. Verizon has 1 – 2 bars of extremely slow and lagged down service all over central Florida, Verizon, leave Florida or upgrade your trash network, stop selling phones that you cannot support with your outdated sparsely placed towers.

As with any neighborhood, businesses have to be competitive to succeed. In the Winter Garden area, especially, there are plenty of places to spend money. Cha-Ching! In the mobile phone industry, it’s easy to be forgotten about as a customer once you sign that dreaded contract. These guys are bucking the trend and this particular Verizon Wireless store has definitely earned its zip code. Not even 100 feet away from AT&T wireless store, this Verizon Wireless location puts customer service #1. I first came here in March of this year to transfer my service from Sprint to Verizon. I was fortunate enough to make contact with a gentleman who went above and beyond to ensure that all of my needs were met. From his easy-going demeanor to his no-pressure sales attitude, Josh had definitely positioned himself at the upper echelon of customer service professionals. He listened to my needs, didn’t try to upsell me into anything unnecessary, and most of all: he made me feel comfortable with my purchase. I have been back several times since then and every time I am greeted with an attitude that portrays the best of the customer service industry: friendliness, professionalism, and true gratitude for business. Came in, greeted by several sales associates, and I was taken care of in minutes. I was out in less than 15 minutes and back on the way to finish my day. Can’t sing enough praises about these guys here: they are the best in the area. A clean, comfortable store with plenty of equipment to browse, and plenty of deals to be had. Check ‘em out, you won’t be disappointed

Can I give it less than one star? I went in to the store after not being able to reach customer service on the phone. All four of the guys working were either on their phone or listening to ipods. One guy excused himself from his call to help me. I explained my service problem and he told me he couldn’t help me, I would have to call customer service. My Verizon service is deplorable. I get no signal and all my calls get dropped. This store in specifc is staffed with bored people who really don’t want to help anyone. AT&T is next door. Go there. When I walked in to AT&T I was helped immediately.

Visited this store yesterday. Made an appointment with Mike S.(407−212−0135 for cell appts) first knowing how some of these service centers can get pretty backed up. We arrived 5 minutes early. We were immediately greeted upon entering and we stated our appointment time. Mike was working with clients when we arrived. He was made aware we had arrived and shortly after our appt. time had come, Mike makes his way over to inform us his current clients have him running a little over time and would only be a couple more minutes.(which was true) Now I don’t take any issue with this unexpected delay because I realize in a service industry, unexpected product/service interests are encouraged! This is a sales environment no less. So patience was easy in coming knowing I too could very easily ask more questions or request a demo of something mentioned that is «new» to me. So we in the meantime loiter around the very neatly arranged and stocked showroom. We are asked twice more if we have been helped by the other associates on duty. Mike becomes available and though he may speak a bit fast like he is on over-sampled speeds, he really knows this product lines and services. At times his speedy talk would run into a mumble — but he was good about effortlessly repeating what was said. I can appreciate his efforts to be efficient as no degree of personable friendliness was lost in his consult. This was the best cell phone provider experience we have had to date. How refreshing to be teated like a valued customer and not get over hyped or endure the stupid backlog of too many customers and too little staff. These guys are doing it right!
