I must update my review as the Broker I was dealing with has moved from the area and no longer handles my rental properties. I returned to ReMax Innovation located in Avalon Park for another one of my rental properties that had come available and was handled by a new Broker and her office assistant. I explained that I was considering selling the home but because of the depressed sales market that I would be renting the home. I had the home interior completely repainted, replaced the wallpaper, replaced the window treatments and replaced the master bath shower door. I repaired or replaced whatever looked like it needed repairing or replacing and restored the home to «Mint Condition». I also had the landscaping upgraded with new plantings, mulch, and had the home professionally cleaned. I met with the Broker and her Assistant and explained that next week was scramble week for the nearby colleges and created fliers that the realtor could use to hand out to the hundreds of students/parents on campus that were searching for accommodations prior to the start of the Fall semester. I was told that everything would be taken care of. Eventually a ReMax representative stopped by and installed a for rent sign on the front lawn, took one photo of the exterior front, one of the exterior back and then went into the home and took 6 of the worst photos of my home possible(which did not include the nicest features or even half the rooms in the home). The next morning I was going to the Airport for a 6AM flight and stopped at the home at 4AM on the way to Orlando International. I found the front door unlocked and slightly open, a lock box from ReMax on the front door which contained the key and the interior lights and ceiling fans were left on and the window blinds wide open. I inspected the home, closed all the blinds, checked to ascertain all the doors and windows were locked, locked the front door and sent a text to the Broker and her Assistant to apprise them of my findings. Several hours later I received a reply apology from the Broker. Little to no activity took place, their lousy photos were plastered all over the net, I received one or two status update only after sending emails requesting whether there was any activity and if the home was shown to prospective tenants. After several weeks I hired my own professional photographer from had my own company create a virtual tour and YouTube page and posted them to my website and the Internet search engines that make the home look as stunning and as magnificent as it actually is. The problem now is that ReMax flooded the Internet with their lousy photos and my photos and virtual tour will probably never be seen if it is not on the first page of search results on Google or Bing. The listing expired today and I received a call from yet another agent from ReMax asking if I wanted to renew the listing… Obviously No. I was also asked if I wanted to lower the rent and explained to the agent that UCF student housing is $ 550/month per student for a two room(four bedroom, one bath dorm room where two students share each bedroom) without the amenities offered such as a washer/dryer, Hydro-Spa, 2 car garage, central vacuum, intercom, and without the privacy they would be afforded in a larger home. I guess they just don’t get it… It’s about a marketing plan, not about placing a sign on the front lawn and hoping someone will see it and call them.

Not at all happy with the service. One of the realtors was very unprofessional. When I went to the broker I never heard back from him. Well never use them again to sell my home.
