Taco Bell

I live close by and this is my closest location. However, between the ongoing mix-​ups, poorly made food and super slow service I now drive extra 2 miles further for my Taco Bell craving.

I’m going to go ahead and say it. They would’ve had a three star rating for the amount of times I’ve had okay food, to the times I’ve had crappy/​mistaken orders, but this last time was a bit ridiculous. Ordered my food, and took it to work. I go out of my way to frequent this location as the other two around me are 1) More expensive (GO FIGURE THAT OUT), or 2) have crappy service and ALWAYS mess up my order, no matter how simple.
That being said, This review was spurred by the lack of attention brought to the food in which they’re supposed to take pride in. It’s not hard to make a taco,. any person can do it. Especially when you have pre-​made items such as shells/​ground beef/​salsa. What I fail to understand is how the crew at this specific location doesn’t know how to fill a damn shell. Multiple times I’ve ordered a basic taco combo pack, and I’ve gotten ¾ shell to ¼th filling. It’s a bit redundant to even order it, I’d be better off just buying shells from Kroger and eating those,. and probably have a less stale tasting shell.
Now, I get that some of you might be thinking «Why do you continue to go back then»,. and the simple answer is this, I work midnights and these are the only places that are open around me. So I have limited choice in which I choose to dine, if I have to pick up something instead of bringing it.

We pull up to the drive thru after waiting in line and the girl over the box says they are closed! What taco bell closes at 11:47pm on a Saturday night?

This place gets no stars from me this is My 2^st time comeing here and they mess up my oder both times it worth the gas and miles on the car to go to the one on wixom and grand river it made me do a stare

I was greeted as soon as I walked in then I placed my dine-​in order. I had been craving a nacho bell grande. It was made to perfection, and hit the spot.

Slowest location ever! Waited 25 minutes for 3 tacos. 2 staff making food and 3 just walking around in the back. Horrible service!

If you have no where to go, and don’t mind sitting in idle for long periods of time, have I got the spot for you… this Taco Bell drive-​through! I am still waiting (currently), and I didn’t start typing this until I realized I had been sitting behind the same 2 cars for 5 minutes. The lack of urgency was alarming — when I need a taco, I need one stat! I sure as heck didn’t choose T-​Bell for a tasty treat… who would make a mistake like that?! I chose to make this run for the border for the andale andale!

I see a lot of negative reviews but we go to this location quite often and so far the service (mostly through drive through visits) has been timely and the order accurate. Food is pretty consistent as far as Taco Bell food goes.

This drive thru consistently takes at least half an hour and all the people who work here are idiots.

Do not go to this taco bell. If you find yourself here run do not walk away. The service is slow the food is gross.

I would stay away from this place. Stopped there about 6 weeks ago and the place was so backed up, and everyones orders were wrong, we walked out. Tried again today and it was more of the same. Although the line moved a little faster, which was the only reason we tried, the orders were wrong again. Also worth mentioning is the fact that this place is extremely disfusting. There were maybe 4 – 5 tables that were clean enough to eat at. The floors, seats, counters, drink area and condiment area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. There doesn’t seem to be any management in this store. If there is, they need to be fired. I can only assume the owners of this location absolutely do not care about their business. I for one will never step foot in this disgusting and completely unsupervised place.

Horrible service. Waited 15 minutes dining in. Only 2 other customers. Nachos were greasy and my order was incorrect. Couldn’t afford to wait another 15 min for a cantina burrito. Avoid this dump

Pulled into the drive thru on a Monday night at 720 and was finally given my food at 750. No customer service, no sorry about your wait, just a hand shoving food out the window. Won’t go back

I asked for 3 cool ranch Doritos locos tacos and a quesadilla but was only given one Doritos locos taco. I also asked for three baja freezes but was instead given 3 regular mountain dews. I try not to complain about my local restaurants but this t bell really screwed up today. They also seem to be hiring which tells me something is up

I used to go to this Taco Bell on the regular. But, I had a really bad experience, and probably won’t return (unless I’m really craving it). This situation happened a month or so ago … but the world needs to hear:
A friend and I went to Taco Bell around 12:30 am because we were craving some quesadillas and crunchy tacos. We ordered our food and specifically asked for Mild sauce and then drove up to the window. We payed and a man handed us a bag of food and we drove off. About 10 minutes into our drive home, we realized that the food we received was NOT what we ordered. We were given a burrito, nachos and some other random junk that looked disgusting. And no mild sauce whatsoever. I was furious. I called the manager right away and she ASSURED me that I could return ANY TIME and get what I ordered free of charge. She specified that I would just need to say that I talked to a manager and I would receive my food.
So… about a week goes by. I decided it was time to go back to Taco Bell and get my past-​due late night meal. I called when I arrived and the conversation went as follows:
«Hello, may I speak to a manager?»
«Why?»
“I’m calling about a mistake that was made a week ago.”
«What happened?»
«I received the wrong meal and I was told by a manager that I could come back at any time and get the correct meal free of charge.»
«What was the managers name?»
«I’m not sure. I don’t think she told me it.»
«Do you have a receipt?»
«No.»
“M’am, we cannot help you with this. I’m sorry.”
«Are you serious? I talked to your manager on the phone. She assured me that I could come back at ANY TIME and get my meal. I just drove all the way here and I’m sitting in the parking lot and I want my meal.»
«I’m sorry m’am, but we can’t do that.»
At this point, I was livid. I demanded to speak to the manager. She was EXTREMELY RUDE to me and didn’t even remember talking to me a week prior about my meal. After arguing with her for a few minutes, she gave in and gave me my meal with a sour look on her face.
Can you believe I had to go through ALL THIS for a quesadilla and crunchy tacos?! Shame on you, Taco Bell, shame on you …

I have eaten at this taco bell three times and every time my food has been stale and mushy like it had been prepared HOURS before and sitting there. My tacos have been cracked and soft when they are supposed to be hard shell. I will not be eating at this taco bell ever again.

This Taco Bell, located just off I-​96, is pretty convenient when you are hungry on your drive between East Lansing and Detroit. Unfortunately, it would seem their chicken supplier doesn’t de-​bone the chicken very well, since I have on TWO separate occasions found 1-​inch chicken bone fragments in my chicken burrito.
For that reason, I’ve stopped visiting when I’m in the area. Additionally, they are stingy with the sauce packets. I guess this proves that saving a penny sometimes costs a dollar?
