Small but quaint. Service was very fast and food was delicious. Sushi and crab Rangoon was my favorite. And don’t forget the Thai Iced Tea! We were so pleased with our experience we couldn’t leave without a take out menu. We will definitely be back!

Trying to venture out a bit more in Woburn and I am glad my fiancée stumbled across this fine restaurant. Service was exceptionally speedy and the food was great. I can always judge a restaurant by the quality of the crab rangoons, and they were fantastic. We will be coming back here again soon!

Are you with a group that has multiple Asian food cravings that include Japanese, Korean, or Thai food?!? Then come to 3 Country Bistro, as they have all those types of food here! I came here with a couple friends as some were craving sushi and other Asian food. This place is small but we came at a non-peak time so it was not difficult finding a place to sit. I overall was impressed with the food here, since they do boast three different Asian cuisines, you would naturally think some food would be lost in the mix. Overall, all my friends enjoyed their time and food here. After getting a Thai iced tea, which is great here! I ordered the Crispy Pad Thai. This was an interesting dish to say the least. Sometimes I crave pan fried noodles so once I saw this dish on the menu I instantly had a crispy noodle craving! I would say the flavor of the dish is not as strong as typical Pad Thai, but I feel that is more due to the cripsy noodles. However, I still enjoyed this dish as a lighter flavor complemented well with having these type of noodles. I was also able to try some sushi and sashimi which tasted great as well, so Japanese is an option for me to have whenever I get a chance to return! I still have to try the Korean side of this«Bistro» spot, but that is just even more of a reason to come back!

I have put off this review for over a year because I’m selfish. I love this place. Hands down, off the hook sashimi. Family run, everything is beautiful and delicious. Don’t go there!!! It’s tiny and I need my weekly table!

To kick off our four day holiday weekend, my coworker treated me to a nice Asian luncheon in Woburn. She introduced me to 3 Country Bistro on Main Street in the smack of Woburn Center. I’ve heard of the restaurant and always thought the name was weird, «country» suggests there would be grits and gravy on the menu. Then I realized, that«3 Country» implied that the menu boasts dishes from Thailand, Korea and Japan. Street parking is limited on the busy intersection so we found a spot in the parking lot behind the plaza. The restaurant is cozy with just a few tables in awkward locations tucked in nooks behind doors and curtains. We lucked out and snagged the last table. There were also a few seats at the sushi bar where diners could watch the sushi chef whip up some maki rolls and sashimi. I got her into Thai tea, actually that is the reason why we visited. She was craving Thai Tea from the last time we had it at Cilantro next door over. We both ordered a Thai Tea and still had some left to take back to the office in plastic cups. We tend to over order and that’s exactly what we did today. For appetizers, we started off with a couple of eel maki rolls and a spider roll. Complimentary miso soup was also provided with one of the dishes. When we walked into the restaurant, we saw a family eating spicy rice noodles. We were intrigued and wanted to order that and assumed it was called the«crazy» noodles based on the description on the menu. We were wrong, it was wide rice noodles with basil and a light spicy sauce. Nonetheless it was still tasty despite it not being what we thought we ordered. I was excited to see Korean staple offerings on the menu. I had to try the bibimbap. It was perfect. The clay pot heated the rice on the bottom to a nice crisp. There was ample beef bulgogi and toppings. It’s definitely a better deal at lunch as the same dish goes up two bucks for dinner. Overall, the restaurant was great. I could see myself being a regular there. Prices were great and service was extremely friendly. The lunch menu is definitely a better deal than dinner. Parking is fine as long as you use the lot in the rear. They also offer delivery! For 3 maki rolls, 2 entrees and 3 Thai iced teas, the total came under $ 50.00. It’s a bit steep for lunch but we definitely over-ordered and had plenty of leftovers to take home.

Great little hole in the wall of a place. Lots of options. Tom Kha soup was a little too sweet, but beef bi bim bap was wonderful. Good, attentive service and menu is priced right. Friendly atmosphere and fresh ingredients are a good combination.

One of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had! I got the Kimono Maki(pretty sure that’s what it’s called– if not, just spelled a little differently) and it was extremely fresh and well put together. It was very reasonably priced and the service was wonderful. Food came out extremely quick and our waitress was very nice. If you like sushi or any type of Thai food– this is definitely the place to come! I will be sure to come back here the next time I’m in Woburn, MA.

My wife is Thai and we have been to Thailand over 10 times last 10 years so we know what good authentic Thai food is. This place has great Thai food compared to most Thai places in the area. We just moved to the north shore from a big city that has over 200 Thai restaurants. This place will be in our top ten for sure in the Boston area. They know how to cook Thai food here. Not sure about the sushi though. Solid four stars.

Found 3 Bistro via Unilocal. We were originally going to try the Lanna Thai Diner but when we drove up on a Friday afternoon a bit before 2 pm, there was a sign on the diner door saying that lunch was being served until 2 pm but when we pulled on the door, it was locked. As we sat outside looking thru Unilocal reviews, we noticed diner workers leaving so it appears that they were closing(early according to the hours on line and posted on the door). We were somewhat glad because it lead us here … When we arrived a bit after 2 pm, there was only one other table of diners and we were greeted, seated quickly, given menus and water. Our waitress(friendly, lovely and helpful) came over fairly quickly to take our orders. We decided to share 3 dishes: the chicken basil fried rice(which had 3 peppers so we ask for it medium spicy), Bi Bit Bam(beef with assorted vegetables and a fried egg on top) and the Shrimp and Asparagus. The shrimp & asparagus arrived first, followed by the basil fried rice and lastly the bi bit bam. The Bi Bit Bam was beautifully presented with the fried egg on top in a sizzling pot. Our waitress asked if we wanted her to mix it and we said yes! It was our favorite dish! Hot, flavorful and the rice both crispy and mushy at the same time. The basil fried rice was bland though it was perfectly spicy. The shrimp and asparagus tasted«clean» and fresh. Overall, we were VERY pleased with our experience and the service could not have been better! We’d rate it 4.5 stars and look forward to returning when in the area!

Came for lunch on a Monday– the sushi chef was welcoming and proud. They have nice deals on lunch specials with well curated selection of Thai, Korean, and Japanese cuisine. Nice flavors, seemed fresh. Service was expectedly lackluster but thats not the reason to come here anyways. No frills here but exactly great for what it is!

We are traveling in the Boston area today and found 3 Country Bistro on Unilocal… Cuz seriously, this is where all the honest reviews hang out. We were a party of 6, and they got the food out to us lightening fast. My husband got the curry beef and string bean, my oldest daughter got the bi bam bop, my youngest daughter got the basil chicken, my oldest son got a soup bowl and I got the country pad Thai. The youngest child is 1, so we brought him food. We started with a raw tuna plate of sushi(can’t remember the name), and even my husband said it was good! He hates all seafood! Like runs in the other direction! All of the entrees were amazing. The basil chicken was reported to be the spiciest. Uh, definitely not… It was the country pad Thai that stole the show. A pleasant warming, followed by continuous runny nose for the remainder of the meal. For me it was 5 glasses of water, because I’m not normally a heat kind of girl. But I couldn’t stop eating it! Might be some of the best food from those 3 Countries that we have ever had! Oh, and this isn’t what I would call a bistro. It’s more of a hole in the wall, mom and pop type shop with just enough seating. In other words, upon first glance you might wonder if the food will be adequate. Without a doubt it is. It far exceeds our expectations!

I went because of the reviews. I left with a taste and the essence of the Korean culture. It was the quintessential mom and pop place. It was small but very clean. The décor was simple but warming. I made a trip to the restroom(true testament for me) and I walked by the open kitchen and the smells were divine. A grandmother was snipping peas surrounded by teenage kids completely engaged with their cell phones. It made me feel at home. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. She constantly filled our water and came to check on us. When we arrived she brought us wine glasses and a wine bucket for our BYOB. She was patient and didn’t pressure us to order right away. We ordered the Golden Bags and Bonsai Cucumber for appetizers. The Golden Bags were crispy with a sweet, tender, corn and ground pork, shrimp filling. It was a cute play on a traditional eggroll. The Bonsai Cucumber… wow. It was so cold and refreshing with a simple, light sauce. The roll had wonder texture and flavor. That was my favorite. Great way to start the meal. Now for the Kim Chi Soup… I am still salivating thinking of this soup. Forget any soup you’ve had prior to this one. This will warm your soul. It is spicy(more than average), tangy, clean, with a great depth of flavor. It had shrimp and Chinese cabbage. It was heaven. There was a great deal of slurping going on. I wish I had a bowl right now. I would have no qualms about slurping in front of my boss. I had the Alaskan Maki just because I’m a fatty and I wanted to see how fresh the sushi was. It was fresh and buttery. It was perfect. The extra care that was put into making beautiful shapes out of the garnish, is a true testament of the love that this family has for their establishment and the people that they are serving. It is more than a business to them. It is an expression of themselves and their culture. Last but not least… the Okdol Bi Bim Bab! I can hear it sizzling now with the fragrant smells permeating from the hot stone pot as the rice starts to crisp along the edges. Our waitress recommended the beef which was so flavorful and tasted like Korean BBQ with hints of oyster sauce, soy, and spices. The bowl came with the freshest vegetables… zucchini, shitake mushrooms, steamed spinach, bean sprouts, shredded carrots and a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg. When you poke the egg yolk it drizzles down and saturates all the ingredients in the bowl to create a creamy rich rice dish. And to top it all off… there was a wonderful sauce that the waitress brought. She recommended trying it and if you liked it, drizzling it over the top and mixing everything together. It was slightly spicy and flavorful and tied everything together. I could write forever but I’d rather just go back, like right now!

This place is really small, but don’t let that fool you. Their sushi is big in flavor! I tried their golden bags, which are crispy balls stuffed with chicken, shrimp and corn; I also had their award winning spicy tuna roll and snow crab rainbow maki, both rolls with brown rice. All was delicious! My fiancé had their seafood madness and brown rice. He asked for one flame and that’s what he got. Their staff was also very nice and food was out quickly. I’m definitely going back. Oh, and they deliver with grub hub!

If you’re in the area… just come. Great place! The place is small. I had the black dragon sushi and Bim Bam bowl — highly recommended. The chef came out and thanked me for coming and stated that I could bring my own drink anytime and they would provide glasses. AWESOME!

A problem a lot of Asian restaurants have outside of big cities is that they try to do too many things, and they end up not doing any of them very well. That’s not the case here at all. My wife and I have been here several times for sushi, the Pad Thai, spring rolls, and whatever else looked good, which was practically everything. The wait staff is always so kind and polite, too. Woburn is the oasis in a «food desert» of surrounding communities. Good luck finding a place like this in Wilmington, for example. Parking is a little tough, but we can usually find a place on the street near the traffic circle(sorry… «rotary») that the restaurant is on.

In the Woburn area on business and the positive Unilocal reviews were overwhelming… I ordered crab rangoon, seaweed salad, salmon sashimi and woburn maki roll. The PROs –crab rangoon was some of the best I ever tasted… and very well the best I’ve had! –seawood salad was good! –salmon sashimi tasted fresh and each piece was huge –woburn maki roll was delicious! –service was on point and very friendly and welcoming –found street parking within a few feet from the restaurant CONs none This was a really great experience overall! I am going to try and go back before business here is over and I return home. I really want to try other menu items… highly recommend this spot and the majority of Unilocalers were spot on!

What can i say. Another Gem in woburn town. We actually have been here twice and have had good experience. This time we ordered the sweet potato tempura maki roll and it was very nice. For dinner wifey had crazy noodles with tofu and it was quite good. The taste was spicy and sweet and the tofu was made excellently made. I had ordered the Korean Hot pot with chicken(no egg on top). It s dish comes on a hot clay oven pot with rice in the bottom with carrots, zucchini, onions, bean sprouts, sea weed spread around the wall of the pot with chicken in the middle sprinkled with sesame seeds. Also came with two side of different hot sauces and Miso soup. Overall it was really good and i am glad i tried it. All this cost us 28.00 including tax. so the prices are great too.
