The service was good and the food came out quickly. I ordered a small steak and cheese sub but in reality it was bread and cheese lightly sprinkled with steak. Not worth the $ 8.75 I paid with bottled soda. My complaint isn’t with the staff or facility itself but the portions for which you pay.

Customer service was outstanding! Made our sandwiches fresh and quick. Did the online pick up ordering from my car and that was quick. Thank you for your positive pleasurable personalities!

This place is close to my office and I always get sucked in to stopping there simply for convenience. Slow & dirty. Today I paid 8 dollars for a small sub & drink. I might as well throw the money right in the garbage because that’s where this sub is going. Tuna was not fresh, it had way too much mayo in it & the lettuce was wilted. The only thing nice I can say about this place is that the manager is friendly. But the sandwich makers need to realize people coming in for lunch are likely working and in a hurry. They need to pick up the pace. Wildly disappointing.

This is, without a doubt, the best Italian sub you can find in the Boston area. Yes, I’m biased. I grew up in Winchester and absolutely love their loaded Italian sub with everything. But these are the things dreams are made of. I love their service and the friendly faces even when I’ve been away for a long time. Great service and great old fashioned Italian food, with great subs.

Everyone loves d’angelo’s especially there steak and cheese. I guess I’m writing this review because I enjoyed the customer service. Every time I go in there a big guy is on the grill and he’s always very kind and the cashier an older guy is also super nice. The food business is no cakewalk so the fact the customer service is friendly I enjoy my meal even more.

The order and review started off poor. I placed an order online to be delivered at a specific time and the food showed up a half hour early. One of the sandwiches was supposed to be steak and cheese and I received chicken. I called to complain about the arrival time and the wrong sandwich. To my surprise the manager got on the phone. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name but I wish I did. She was very helpful and nice… offered to send the whole order over again. I declined to the entire order(I’m not the type to take advantage) I did accept a new steak sandwich though. For the managers customer service skills I give this shop 4 stars! Way to go!!!

After growing up with really great local sub shops I am always pleasantly surprised by how consistent and how good the sandwiches are here. The staff is always hustling and friendly. Menu has something for everyone.

D’Angelo is a small chain serving New England. It has a few locations outside of Boston, but the fact that it’s in New England is probably why I’ve never heard of it. After spending the morning getting accustomed to the area, and looking at Unilocal reviews for the area, we decided to try our hand at this sandwich shop. It was nothing short of delicious. The Chicken Vermonter. Wonderful wonderful cheese that I can’t remember ever tasting in my life. That drizzled over bacon and lettuce was a wonderful thing. I’m sure there were other things in there but all I can think about was how good the cheese was. I could use that cheese in every day life. The service was good. We ordered quickly and then they were off making our subs. For our eat-in order, they put your sub in this basket thing which I’ve never seen before but was cute and great. At one point, the manager walked around and asked us how our meal was going. The customer service and management were strong. It’s not the best I’ve ever tasted, but I am indeed a fan of it. I think the four star rating is spot on. If you’re looking for a more upscale Subway, look no further.

Framingham, MA store # 5222 Have been getting meals there for years. Seems they have changed help lately. Got 2 subs to go and the were TERRIBLE. Had a #9 with meat WAY over cooked had NONE of the condiments as ordered. Also had a Classic Veggy Pocket that was ALL lettuce and a ¼ cup of the ‘veggies’. Oh well, is was good while it lasted. On to Subway instead.

I work across the street so I’ve been here probably about a dozen times and I either just grab take out or have it delivered… EVERY single time they get my order wrong! And so I end up going back for them to fix it. And I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because everyone makes mistakes but I went in today and explained to the cashier that every time I come in they mess something up so he assured me he would personally make sure it was right this time. What do you know I’m missing 4 toppings I asked for on my sub Ridiculous, needless to say I’m done trying

Restaurant is very nicely setup and spotless. Simple menu and friendly staff. Ordered cheeseburger sandwich(large) in hopes of saving half for later. The sandwich was outstanding and unfortunately«I ate the whole thing.»

Been to a bunch of D’angelo locations and the food quality as this joint is the worst of all that I’ve been to. All the other D’Angelo spots are solid but for some reason this place is whack.

This place was right next to my hotel. The positive reviews and a look at the menu made me want to try it. The place was clean, and the service was quick. I went for the Vermonter with steak. It is topped with bacon, Vermont white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard on it. I also got chips and a bottle of soda. It was around $ 11, which isn’t cheap, but the medium sandwich(8″) was a lot more food than I expected. It was so good, that I ate every bit. Everything on it was fresh, including the bun. I would definitely recommend this place if you liked grilled steak sandwiches. The only equivalent near where I live is Charley’s, and this is definitely better. I honestly could not have been more pleased.

Been coming to this D’angelos for years. Always great food with good service! The location makes it easy to jump off 128 and back on. Highly recommend the steak cheese and mushroom!

I had a medium«Number 9»… which is basically a philly cheese steak. It was one of the most boring hot sandwiches I’ve had — plus the meat was full of grizzle and was tuff. Add to that a bag of chips and my bill came up to $ 9.18. No, I would never go back. Not sure why others would rate this place above a three. Evening of 6÷22÷2011

I saw D’Angelo’s down the road from the hotel so I went to get some. I almost didn’t make it because they closed at 10 and it was around 9:30. So I got a «Steak Bomb» sandwich, just for the name(and after looking at the menu online), chips, and a soda. Kinda expensive with ten bucks for everything. Oh well. It was pretty good, though greasy and probably a heart killer. The ladies still working the night shift were really nice for how late I placed my order. It felt a little awkward being the only person in there that late.

I used to work very close to the D’angelos in Woburn by the market basket at Commerce Way. The sandwiches were reasonably priced compared to what I am now dealing with in Southern California. The quality is superb at the Woburn location and Bob the manager is very friendly and greets everyone personally even during the lunch rush… this would never happen in the OC where I now reside.

Great service at this location. Their website has a nice $ 2 off coupon for a large sub. You quickly spend that when you add chips and a drink, but it’s worth it. I always order the cheeseburger sub(see photo) Sometimes the lettuce is weird here, and my sandwich could have used another slice of cheese, but its always tasty. Lunch is very very busy and parking totally sucks since Joe’s American is right behind it. Overall, I will return.

I agree D’ANGELOS is DABOMB — Steak Bomb! That is :) great location too if you’re stuck in traffic just get off Washington St. — either side and go around to the Woburn mall. If you’re heaidng southbound on 128 you’ll be right there. Northbound just take a left off the ramp go down by khols and turn left at the light go through the light with the onramp the woburn mall on your right D’angelos on your left.

This D’Angelo is spot on. I come here for lunch often and I can get in and out w/. my sub in under 10 minutes and this is when the line is 5 – 6 deep. It is run like a tight ship, and the staff know how to do it. They do a huge lunch business and the line goes quick and fast. The staff are so nice and friendly. The food comes out fast and is consistent every time. It is the«new» look of D’Angelo since the role out. The parking can be a bitch at high noon.
