Excellent food. Ate there a number of times this summer. Classic typical New England fare. The owners are lovely people and the atmosphere is very homey. A little off the beaten path but not far from town.

Love love love this place. It is a must go when I visit. The ribs are amazing and so is the lemon chicken. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences here. Highly recommend!

Kids steak burnt. Stuffed shrimp burnt. Bread dry. Dressings gloppy. Lobster bisque tasted like melted salted butter and not much else. Only redeeming quality is the tempura chicken bits. A lot of better more affordable options in town

Had two great meals here this past summer, both for special events(Birthdays). As noted in my previous review, food was excellent! The staff was very patient with our nearly two year old grand daughter who likes to wear her food sometimes versus eat it. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and willing to engage us with polite talk. In general, I tend to go for the special of the days here or anything seafood related, which they seem to do quite well. Again, this is the hidden gem in Wolfeboro and my only worry in typing this review is more people will discover this great restaurant and I won’t be able to get a seat.

This place is incredible! The owners are extremely lovely people. They are there during busy season. The food was great, and evenly priced. I would absolutely recommend.

Is it possible to give zero stars? Disgusting– ’nuff said! (and, the owner/waitress is rude and condescending) (we liked all the antiques they use to decorate the restaurant, though). Just a note to the owner’s response– we are pleasant. Many of us have worked in the restaurant industry for years. I’m glad you’ve been in business for more than thirty years– that’s part of the reason we went there. We looked up the restaurant, saw that it was well-established, and thought the menu looked great for our large party. Maybe the owner/waitress had an off-night, but we had truly terrible service and bad food. And, we are still ridiculous over-tippers because we have all been there.
