So I’m giving 3 stars because I’ve been a long time customer and the crabs have always been about 4 stars. However, the girl on the phone needs some customer service skills. I give her 1 star. What do you mean, «The prices are always what they’ve been…» If you’re tired of answering the same questions, either put up a website or have a general recording on the phone with the info before it rings. Be kind to your customers or they just might not ever come back.

I’ve heard good things about their crabs, but I never got that far to find out. I couldn’t find a website so I called to get pricing and availability. The girl on the other end of the phone was unpleasant and short. When I asked what their prices by size were she said «same as they always are.» If I knew that I wouldn’t be calling! She seemed annoyed that I was asking all of these questions.
In the end I went with Casey’s in laurel, the girls behind the counter there are much more helpful and friendly.

Always the best crabs without a doubt, best in Maryland! Call early and get the big ones, fair prices, the only place we go for crabs

Bought steamed crabs here on June 9. Had them steamed to order. They didn’t have any Chesapeake Bay crabs but they did have crabs from Louisiana. We ordered a dozen Extra Large at $ 80 per dozen. They were big, fat and heavy crabs, not as good as Chesapeake Bay crabs, but still very good just the same. Steamed and spiced just right. I am going to order a bushel for this weekend and if things turn out differently, I will update this review. But all in all I would recommend this place. They also have a good deal on Wild Caught USA Gulf Shrimp. This is a carryout only.
The Woodbine Inn is right across the street. As people order steamed crabs in the restaurant, you can see that J & T Seafood will steam them up to order and walk them across the street to the restaurant.

I was really disappointed in the customer service this time. I had 8 people that we were inviting for crabs so I wanted to reserve a bushel. I called on Tuesday to reserve crabs for Saturday. I was told to call back on Thursday or Friday. I stopped in on Thursday. I only live a couple of miles away. I was then told to call Saturday morning to see if I could get a bushel. The guy told me he could get me crabs by the dozen but, he would not guarantee a bushel. Yes, this time of year the supply is more scarce however, crabs by the dozen is much more expensive… Needless to say, I got my crabs somewhere else.
