Love getting crabs here every time I come home. My dad is really picky about his crabs, he knows all the best spots in MD but he always goes here. Swears by it. I miss it when I’m in LA!

Steve’s birthday was splendid, lots of fun. The food and service were tremendous – 5 stars and Naomi Farr and I will be back. The Hard Fry, a crab cake stuffed inside a blue she’ll crab and then battered and deep fried, was stupendous!

The waitress was rude and had an bad attitude from the time we walked in. I will be calling management to notify them of this. I will never go back there nor recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Seafood is very good but really the rest of the food isn’t worth while. I don’t rate restaurants based on service because service is always different but the service was not very good for our experience. If you have another option I’d probably take it. If it’s your only option then it’s not an awful place.

This place is catering to a clientele that expects the same mediocrity they are used to on their own dinner tables. The food is complacent. They clearly use pre-made ingredients wherever physically possible. And it shows. However you imagine you’re completely culinarily illiterate father cooking, that’s how they will prepare a dish here. The burger was OK. It had very little flavor. The nachos were just store-bought Tostitos with canned chili and shredded cheese. Their pricing structure is very unclear. They have several extremely cheap items and then entrees for $ 20+. The environment is best described and redneck-smokeroom. Don’t expect any special ambience. But, if you’re looking for a glimpse into unabashed quasi-rural Americana, this is your spot. There is no pretense whatsoever here. I can’t advise you check out this spot UNLESS you want a cheap light beer or are heavily intoxicated and just need some sloppy food.

Food is average quality! Biggest complaint is the cleanliness of this place. Flies are all over the dinning room and we continuously chasing them off the table and the food. This is a sign that the place needs a major scrub. Unfortunately they folks there are oblivious to this problem.

Love the Inn, hate the parking. I wish they would do something about it. Prices are expensive for the décor. Not a fancy place, but I have never had bad food. Service is sometimes great, sometimes not so great. I wish they had a parking spot for take out. I’d be there a few times a week.

Absolutely the worst service. Staff is impersonal and message is received… you don’t want customers. Fear that no more. Don’t waste you money or time in this armpit!

We took the Harley up here to grab a drink. Woodbine Inn is a nice bar and restaurant wit a relaxed feel. We did not eat, but I hear their crab cakes are wonderful. The bartender was not sure what a military ID was when she carded my boyfriend and a few of the guys at the bar overheard her giving him a hard time. Needless to say, they bought us drinks and the bartender quickly changed her tune. Overall, this seems like a solid local place with good people!

Visiting from CA and needed a crab cake. Heard about the Woodbine Inn from a few local friends so drove over for lunch. Started with MD crab soup — wonderful. Could taste all the vegetables and crab with just enough pepper spice. Then had crab balls appetizer. Excellent. 6 hush puppy-size balls of great crab cakes. I had crab cake sandwich and wife had crab cake platter. Crab cakes were wonderful. Only flaw was the slaw that came with wife’s platter. It was obviously not freshly made — mushy and not flavorful. Service was very good too. I’ll be back.

Never again. Prices on online menu are wrong. They didn’t have what I originally wanted. Showed up and had to wait an extra 10 mins for food. She forgot my dessert… glad I asked about it. She also forgot the sauce w my dessert. Pizza was burnt and slightly warm. Wings were ok.

Your basic local joint with solid food, friendly service, and delicious Maryland crabs. Our server, Natalie, was super friendly and kept everything delightfully relaxed. She was also quick with the drink refills which is great when eating crabs. We had preordered our crabs so they were ready when we got there. The table also ordered the onion straws, crab balls, and the soft shell crab sandwich. The crab balls were my favorite as there was very little filler and lots of crab.

I decided the owner probably wouldn’t care if I complained, so I decided to leave a $ 2 tip and write a review on Unilocal.Always heard about the wings, ordered them, but never got them. Seems a guy ordered fried chicken(after we ordered) but they cooked his first(couldn’t mix them in the fryer??). It would have come out same time as dinner so I passed. She only told us about this after I had been waiting 25mins! But that didn’t stop her for«forgetting» to take it off the check! The Rockfish was very good, fries not so much. Hamburger bun was stale, and falling apart. But the worst was the poor attitude of the waitress. She seated us with an attitude, and it went south from there. I ordered brown gravy for my fries — it never came, but at that point why complain. Then she seemed more interested in sweeping the floor then giving us a check. Some food is good, some we’ll never know, but I do know two things. The service sucked, and I won’t go there again.

Oops, I guess we inconvenienced the waitstaff coming in 40 minutes before closing. Not allowed to order AYCE crabs @ $ 35, but they will let me order 6 crabs for $ 32. What the heck? Beer battered fish was delicious. Fries were hot & crispy. Service was crappy.

Exactly what you’d expect; cozy, friendly, and stick-to-your-ribs good food. I had the crabcake sandwich and it was yummy. My husband had the cheeseburger with fries and they were both great. We couldn’t resist sitting at the bar for a couple of beers with our lunch and playing keno.

This neighborhood establishment needs to work on their customer service. I understand its a ‘tavern atmosphere’ but the bartenders need to learn how to give better service. They are too busy hanging out with the waitstaff, eating behind the bar or are just plain ignoring customers who are obviously standing there waiting to be served. Their poor attitudes are enough to make me not want to go back.

Love out hit’s tucked out of the way. Don’t expect white glove service, not that kinda place. It’s a tavern/restaurant and that’s what it’s good at. Think of Cheers with great food. Whether a beer and the game, crabs, or a cup of soup, everything we got was spot on. I’ll be back when back in town. Great job!
