Tazo Pizza

Ordered delivery and this is now the second time I’ve eaten here. I asked for them to go /​very/​light on the cheese and to add extra sauce to the pizza. I also ordered onion rings.
Delivery took about an hour and when I opened the pizza, it was soooo cheesy and was lathered in grease, which was very gross. I had to get paper towels to pat it off because it was literally dripping in it. The pizza didn’t taste good at all and I regretted getting it. Then I grabbed the container my onion rings were in, and when I opened it, I saw and felt the most soggy onion rings I’ve ever seen in my life. They were absolutely awful and just sagged in my hands.
I would HIGHLY recommend never going here unless you enjoy terrible food.

Ordered late night. I had just moved and we were absolutely starving. We ordered via another «food near you that delivers» app. It was late on Saturday, so the hour it took to get our pizza, salad and 2 liter was pretty standard. The delivery guy followed the instructions I had made in the comments to a T (much appreciated!) and was extra pleasant to deal with. The pizza was warm and good– a little too much sauce and too little for me, I also like a thinner crust than this– but overall it was still very tasty. The salad was great. Fresh. Crisp. Cold. No limp lettuce. The feta was separate to keep from making everything else soggy and gross. A+ there. The 2 liter was also delivered cold, which was appreciated. Nothing I’ll crave but nothing negative either. I’ll probably order from here again late night. Solid 3 – 3.5!

Very quick delivery, expecting 40 minutes and the guy got here in 25. Everything we ordered was correct. Cheese pizza was tasty. Italian sub was not impressive, I’ve had better.

My cousin might have gotten food poisoning from this place. May want to proceed with caution as usual. The picture of the pizza looked heavenly and scrumptious but my cousin had to call off work the next day because she thinks it made her sick. Have never eaten here and wouldn’t chance it after that.

I was a bit apprehensive after seeing all the negative reviews, but I figured hey wife’s outta town… pizza it is! I was not disappointed, this pizza was actually really good. The boneless wings weren’t so great. I was expecting boneless wings to be breaded but they weren’t, kinda wired but not terrible. The pizza was really good though, I will order again.

Ordered a pizza at 8:46 and never received it. Called at 10:15 and they said they were too busy. NEVER AGAIN!

unsatisfied with quality and taste of the food i disliked everything from the smell to way it looked, also service was not good. Will not order from any location again. Food made me my girl and our 10 year old girl sick. I eat all over Virginia on a daily basis. This is my first no go place

I ordered my families food and sat down with a family of four.
An employee answered the phone as I sat down someone was complaining to him and from his responses to the phone, an employee waited for a tip during a delivery (I guess not in a good way). Once the person hung up the phone I listened to all the employees yelling, laughing and joking in a different language. My 2 year old kept asking why they were mad and what they were saying.
A very polite man brought us or food, we had to remind them about or drinks. But wow the food looked and smelled great. We had one extra large all meat pizza with extra cheese. I think they butter their crust. The toppings were chucks of meat! Really tasted good.
The cheese and pepper shakers were dirty. Also the napkin box was broken and dirty.
As my wife and I waited for our kids to finish eating, I used the restroom. Really clean room co-​Ed restroom. As I came out an employee went in. When he came out, grabbed himself, adjusted himself and than zipped up his pants. Really!!! Just ruined any good this place had in my mind.
Under $ 30 for a extra large pizza and 4 bottles of soda.

First and last time eating here. I wanted a fish sub, they said they were out of fish, that should have been my first sign to hang up the phone but then I ordered the Philly steak and cheese sub and a chicken parmesan sub. My order arrived and I had a boiled processed steak (STEAK-​UM) sandwich from Costco and a frozen chicken patty on bread. I have had school lunch better than this.

Great pizza and don’t forget to order the cheese sticks! This pizza spot is conveniently located, decided to give it a try after reading some of the other helpful Unilocal reviews. Will definitely return!

Great pizza! Some of the best pizza delivery in the area. Grubhub brought these guys to our attention and its become or goto for pizza. They are not cheap but definitely a good value.

I wish I could place 0 stars… the only reason I’m rating this place as a zero is because I placed an order about two months ago and then again yesterday. It’s as if the restaurant changed all together. The Stromboli was like ½ a size smaller and the tiramisu was completely different. It was more like a cake and it was so disgusting I ended up throwing it away. The Stromboli was subpar… Before it used to be so big that it was worth the money… I guess they decided to be stingy with the food and meat, so now that’s super small and the menu changed its truly appalling. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Great pizza! We decided to order because they dropped a menu at our house, they had gyro meat, and they deliver. Our usual pizza spot does not deliver. Great price. Accurate delivery time. Pizza is yummy! Love the garlic sauce on crust!!! Pizza is very cheesy which is nice so we don’t have to order extra cheese. They definitely don’t skimp!

Prior to moving to Chantilly/​Herndon I order the special pizza here on the regular. I twas so good. This was well over a year ago, so please take with a grain of salt.

HORRIBLE to the point where I’m upset that I had to rate this place 1 star, because they seriously deserve 0. I just reported this disgrace of a pizza place to Grubhub and asked for a full refund, I’ve never experienced worse customer service in my life.
After waiting over an hour for our order, we called the restaurant just to make sure everything processed OK on Grubhub and it was on its way. Literally, as soon as we asked about our order, the owner started yelling at me and literally SWORE at me saying, «What the hell?! I called and I called and kept banging on your door and you weren’t answering! What’s wrong with you, you don’t pick up your phone? You weren’t home?!» I literally was in shock — I actually asked him if he was talking to me, because I couldn’t believe someone could be so rude. He then said yes, he was talking to me and proceeded to yell, while I tried to tell him that we received no phone call and we were sitting in the living room right in front of our door the whole time. He kept yelling so at that point, I passed the phone to my boyfriend before I would explode.
My boyfriend tried to speak with him, but he continued to yell and be extremely rude so my boyfriend just asked for a refund to be done with the whole thing. Again, more yelling and just telling us to come pick up the food and that we should «stop bullshitting him». I seriously couldn’t believe he said that… my boyfriend then just said, «Look, we’d rather avoid giving a poor review on Unilocal,so please just give us a refund.» The owner then said, «GO AHEAD! Give me a bad review on Unilocal,I really don’t care!» and hung up the phone.
Well Tazo Pizza, you got what you wished for! Here is the bad review, just for you :) Thankfully, Grubhub has great customer service and gave us a full refund, apologized on the restaurant’s behalf, and said they would call them to straighten things out. Seriously wish I had read the reviews before ordering, but lesson learned! Never ordering here again and I hope Grubhub takes them off their list so others don’t have to deal with this terrible place.

Service could be better, which is silly because you pretty much serve yourself. Still, folks could be friendlier,… Now that the bad is out of the way, GO THERE. Pizza is as close to REAL PIZZA AS YOU GET. if you like mushy crust, too little cheese or toppings, go somewhere else. We took kids there thinking it would be a quick, easy $ 7 pizza (and a let down). We were mostly right. It was NOT a let down. We’ll be back, and hopefully they’ll be in a better mood. Hey, you cant eat attitude! The pie is what matters. If they’re not better than Padrino’s, then they tie Pad’s.

I recently visited Tazo… and I wasn’t impressed. I should have read Unilocal before visiting… but…so goes life. The pizza is ok, but the customer service is HORRIBLE. The lady got my order wrong and didn’t try to change it. I had to laugh b/​c I couldn’t believe it was happening… the wait was short about 10mins.
Close to home but I will go to Presto next time for sure… Pass on Tazo.

Hungry after a cut I decided to support a small business such as Tazo Pizza. Ordered the $ 5.99 one topping special. Five to ten minutes later a hot medium sized pizza came out. Unlike the other reviews, my crust was more on the softer side. The cashier was friendly. I’ll return if I need take out and I’m in the area.

Best pizza I’ve found in Woodbridge after a diligent search. There isn’t a lot of competition in the area when it comes to pizza. But I’ve found Tazo to be a consistently well made pizza. I can’t think of anything I can complain about.
Great thin chewy crust, crisp around the edges. Not over-​cheesed. The sauce and cheese volumes and flavors are right on the mark! Toppings are good quality, but they don’t have a huge variety — just the basic options.
Price is great too if you use coupons or hit them up for lunch specials.

I work next door at East Moon Asian Bistro and I’m always stopping by at least once a week to get the $ 6 special. 1 topping medium pizza being 8 slices. Their type of pizza is my favorite type. Crust is about quarter of an inch thick which is what I like. The type of cheese they use is the best. I can say it’s pretty close to NY style as you can get. When it comes out of the oven the owner puts garlic butter all around the crust of the pizza and sprinkles some parmesan on top. I always go with the pepperoni.
Note: The crust is amazing but it does have lots of cornmeal on it which adds crunch and texture which necessarily isn’t a bad thing. Also, this type of pizza is great for leftovers. If you pop it in the convectional oven for a few, it tastes almost as good as when you first bought it.
Update: I’ve had to knock it down to 3 stars. Mainly due to customer service. Manager knows me and I always order the same thing but all of sudden they changed their specials? I even tried to go by a coupon that’s on their website and the manager says those are expired when there’s not an expiration date on them. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE THEN. Anyways, now I have to wait until a reasonable offer comes through via text message from them so I can enjoy a medium 1 topping pizza for $ 5 (this week’s special) instead of a lg 1 topping pizza for $ 14. All and all, it’s better when it’s cheaper. but pizza is still good.
