For my last 3 orders, I got an old bread on my sandwich. The food quality of this place has gone way down. I really hope they work on this location. I hate to leave bad reviews, especially for my favorite spot.

Honestly the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, Mac and cheese was great and their mash potatoes are to die for! The staff are great love seeing them often! I come here every day basically for lunch when I’m at work and I just need to update my review to say that they are always neglecting the fried chicken, I have had to come order and wait an extra 30 minutes multiple times. I was personally messaged by the Executive Chef Pricilla Lopez offering a gift card and an apology(which the gift card never came) for my multiple complaints for the same thing but you guys don’t seem to get the message because I continue to wait 20 to 30 minutes. So if you’re the executive chef I personally call you out for not doing your job, I come around your lunch rush where you have everything ready except your most popular item? If that doesn’t make sense to you someone else should have your job.

I’m here for lunch at least once a week. The steak salad is just incredible and that’s my usual go-to. The portions are excellent and the flavors and quality are on point. I also love the company’s value for locally grown, non-hormone, organic, and ethical food. The dishes are delicious and high quality! You don’t like something? Let them know and they make it right. The desserts are equally delicious and usually have a variety of gluten free and vegan sweets to go along with their choices. The beverages are also fantastic and varied, with a lemonade, green machine drink, house-made kombucha, teas, beer and wine. Vegan and vegetarian-friendly establishment. Staff is very nice and knowledgable. Parking is all around the shopping center.

Tender greens I love your style. We have been loyal customers since the day you opened in Woodland Hills. BUT the quality of your food has really gone down. I don’t know if it’s the cooks fault or what but the chicken and meat have fatty pieces that should not be put in the sandwich. Also, the bread is not fresh like it used to be. What’s up with that? Please we wanna continue eating here fix these issues!

These guys know how to run a business. They rotate their employees and share responsibilities. They care about my satisfaction with the food. The food is fresh and consistently prepared. They have gotten to know me by name and I know a few of theirs. I go here 3 – 4 days per week after yoga. Quick tip: if the plate is too much, ask for a kids meal version. You get half the order with a juice for about $ 7. Keep up the great work and thank you for the great food and service! My favorite plate is fried chicken with mashed potatoes and side veggies.

Oh dear Tender Greens. How i love you so. I’ve had everything on the menu in the form of a plate or simple salad. I’ve also had a few of the specials they always have… all locations are good and you know what you are getting. Brussels sprouts at a restaurant that are good??? Yes. I’m not sure what goes on at this location as opposed to others, but they always forget something in the to go orders or you get charged for a plate, which I’ve ordered a few times to go, and have not received the mashed potatoes. Now, if you’ve ever had the buttery fluffy goodness that is mashed potatoes from Tender Greens, you know that finding out there isn’t that lovely container if potatoes is a heart crusher. All in all, tender greens still does no wrong in my book overall, but this location really needs to make sure all items are in the order before giving it to customers or doordashers/postmates Also a tip: don’t order right before closing; the food isn’t good at all

I have been here twice now and I haven’t had bad meal. I tried their Special: BBQ Pork Hash(pork belly), Crispy Fingerling Potatoes, Mixed Baby Peppers, Spring Onion, poached egg — - It consisted of more potatoes than what I would have liked, granted it is a hash. I think if they added in more of the peppers(they were sweet and gave a lot of flavor) and then more pork would have been nice. Overall a decent dish, but so far not my favorite. I really liked the meal I had… BACKYARDMARINATEDSTEAK add 50¢ grilled medium rare —- comes with a side salad and mashed potatoes. They gave plenty of meat and it was cooked perfectly as medium rare. The potatoes were by far some of my favorite! They were light but with tons of flavor. Great thing is you can choose if you want any of the main dishes as a salad, sandwich or hot plate. I can’t wait to see what to try next.

I fairly enjoyed the atmosphere here. The food, as usual, was pretty good. The portions of the salads were huge. The tuna was a bit over cooked but the steak was better than what I’ve had at other tender greens. I really liked the addition of the stumptown nitro brew because it tastes much better from the tap than the cans you can get at wholefoods. The service is what stood out the most. Every employee greeted us with a smile and were patient as we figured out what we wanted. This place is definitely a nice addition to the shopping center.

This was my first visit to Tender Greens after multiple trips to the Village. My sister and I shared the grilled chicken Cobb salad, the carrot soup and mashed potatoes. First off, the salad was good. Not fantastic and not bad, just good. It had all the components of a perfect Cobb salad… Bleu cheese, egg, avocado, bacon… Actually the bacon bits were like hard lardons or something. Pretty unique. Like I said, it was good but it didn’t blow my mind. I actually ordered their chicken leek soup but got the carrot soup. I didn’t realize it until I was halfway done with the soup. Anyways, the taste was okay. I’m a big soup maker and eater. I make better soup than it, I’ll just say(I don’t mean to brag). The mashed potatoes were good. I think mashed potatoes are good no matter what. All in all, the food is decent. For the price we paid, I would expect better tasting food. I think it’s a good place to eat when you want a healthy meal.

Super healthy lunch!!! Love that they have a separate sheet with the calorie counts and nutritional information that are easy to read and follow. Helped me choose the falafel salad which I would have never suspected as the healthiest salad on the menu! The falafel were light, full of flavor and crispy on the outside, warm and tender on the inside. Surrounded by gem lettuce, veggies and a smear of delicious yogurt with dressing on the side. My friend had the harvest salad which looked amazing and that she devoured. Warning: many of the salads I would have guessed were healthy, were less so but could likely be adjusted by having the dressing on the side or slightly modified. We sat at a lovely table outside in the shade. It was quiet and our iced tea was regularly refilled by a very pleasant employee. We could not have had a more enjoyable experience!

I love this place! I come here at least twice a week now and get the Harvest Salad! I always mix it up with a type of meat but it’s really good with steak. The Harvest Salad has this sweet vinaigrette, candied walnuts, and fruits that’s are in season. This Spring time they used Mandarin oranges and strawberries. Tossed with feta cheese. ONPOINT! Juan has made my salad most times and it’s never a miss. Thanks, boo! One of the managers, Priscilla, is a beast and gets food out FAST. Adam, one of the other managers, is a delight once he gets comfortable with you. Everyone working there is so kind and generous. I’ve even gotten my boyfriend into this place so we often go together. Love the team and the food! Thanks, guys! Yelena from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf across the pond :)

Came here for lunch for the first time today, and it’s super nice! We got there right before noon, so there wasn’t much of a wait, but I noticed that the lunch rush started right after we arrived, so there was a line out the door by the time we got our food. I decided to try today’s special of grilled yellowtail, which sounded really yummy and healthy. At $ 12.50 plus tax, it came out to $ 13.63… which is kind of pricey for lunch. But totally worth it for a rare treat out, as I usually pack lunch to save time and money. You place your order at the front and then walk along the counter while looking at the decadent food preparation behind the glass. My coworker ordered a steak sandwich and got his food at the register at the end, but my lunch wasn’t ready yet, so I paid and got a number to bring to my table. My food came out quite fast though, like a minute or two after I sat down. I was a bit surprised at the quantity on my plate, as it looked kind of sparse at first. But I suppose it was a proper serving of food(instead of the piggy servings I usually prepare for myself, oof). And the food seemed to be very fresh and of high quality. The menu said the grilled yellowtail came with fennel, potato, English peas, cherry tomatoes, Swiss chard fennel rosemary purée… but I didn’t see anything that resembled potato on my plate. Not sure if it was supposed to just be a teeny sliver instead of actual chunks of potato though. I liked the flavor of my dish, although the fish was a bit salty for my taste. I tried some of my coworker’s steak, and it was PERFECT! So yummy and perfectly cooked with some pink in the center. He had ordered it medium rare, and it was not bloody at all and perfectly tender and juicy. Sooo good. The décor inside is fresh and modern, although I did notice a display of tons of forks hanging down from the ceiling. Looked scary, because all I could think of was getting stabbed by a bunch of forks if there was an earthquake and they all fell from the ceiling… :O Note to self: Don’t sit under the hanging forks! Haha.

i’ve heard of Tender Greens plenty but I assumed it was another LA creation serving bowls of quinoa and kale so I wasn’t in any particular rush to visit. It just so happened that I was running errands with a friend at The Village and we decided to try Tender Greens for lunch. Does Tender Greens serve quinoa & kale? Yes. But there is SO much more! They serve fried chicken, buttery mashed potatoes, pot pie, and steak. They are apart of the farm to table culture but they don’t limit themselves to salads or wraps. Their ordering system can be a little confusing. You first order up front with a person at the register, than you walk down the line where there are people assembling your meal who might have questions for you depending on what you order, and then you end at a counter where you can order drinks or dessert to pair with your meal after which you carry your meal to where ever you’d like to sit. After pursuing the menu, I decided on their grilled chicken plate which is served with mashed potatoes and a small greens salad and I also ordered their curry pot pie because it just sounded delicious! The grilled chicken was so juicy, the mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and even the salad tasted distinctly fresh. The curry pot pie was delicious!!! I loved it and the only thing I would do different is ask for it extra warmed because it was not as hot as I would prefer. I also ordered their hibiscus juice and spent roughly $ 20, so a bit steep for casual dining, but the quality of food and service is excellent so you’re getting what you pay for. I loved this place! Everyone behind the counter and busing tables looked genuinely happy to be there which really sends good vibes to the customers dining. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Went here for lunch with coworkers place did not disappoint, i liked this place same as the first location I’ve been to which is in studio city. Place is clean and staff is nice and very attentive. You have a choice of meat: chicken, steak and greens. Choice of sides whether salad or in my order i opted for broccoli and comes with bread. I ordered hibiscus ice tea for drink.

Love not only the food, but the service and set up of Tender greens. Simple menu of a few proteins that you can get on either a sandwich, a plate or a salad. I went with the tuna sandwich and it was great, a simple side salad, all very fresh, tasty, light yet filling. Prices are around $ 12 no matter what you get, a bit high, but given the quality I feel it is worth it. Ambiance is simple, but bright, modern and clean, love that you see them making your food right as you go along the line. Worth a stop, feel good food at its best!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite a long time and I finally got the chance on a Saturday afternoon. I got the following to-go: salt & pepper chicken plate w/mashed potatoes & baby arugula salad mac & cheese green monster beverage mint lemonade Most of it was delicious and I would definitely return to try other menu items. The green monster beverage was my least favorite and I didn’t care for the lemon vinaigrette nor tarragon salad dressings. The ingredients are healthy though, so that’s great!

One of my favorite lunch spots ! The food is so simple and smart. The salads are incredible. I used to go to the one in Burbank for years and I’m happy this one is so close to home for me now! They focus so much on flavor so everything from the chicken, shrimp and steak are all seasoned so well. The prices are really reasonable for the quality you are getting. The fried chicken is delicious. Probably their most popular hot plate. Served w creamy Yukon potatoes and roasted green veggies. The tender green salad and Thai shrimp salad — sooo good! You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here.

This location served my food faster then majority of fast food chains I’ve been to. It was really that fast! Everyone was super friendly there too. They are located near the Yogurtland and Coffee Bean if that helps anyone, it can be quite a maze with all the shops over here. I ordered: SALTANDPEPPERCHICKEN $ 11.50 — white and dark meat, garlic, oregano, thyme. You have the option of having it on a sandwich, on a hot plate, or on a salad. I went with the sandwich which comes with toasted artisanal bread, roasted red peppers, aioli and choice of simple salad. Went with the tender greens salad — baby greens, sherry vinaigrette. I’d rate the sandwich a 5/5, I love it, it has such a rich taste with quality ingredients, the chicken taste great by itself and so does the bread. Combined makes it even better. The salad that came with it was great, but the leafs are huge! Seriously some big baby greens. I had to use a knife to cut it up. GREENMONSTERJUICE $ 3.50 — not sure entirely what’s in there but it had a very«light» taste compared to juices I buy at other places. Almost like I’m drinking water. I prefer my juices stronger, even tho the price is reasonable. 3⁄5 SOUPOFTHEDAY — BROCCOLICARROTSOUP — $ 5.00 very tasty, just a tad too salty 4⁄5 VEGANVANILLASTRAWBERRYBASILCAKE — $ 4.00 Quite delicious, I’ve never had something quite like this. I would definitely get this one again, tastes great with a cup of tea. 5⁄5 I got all my food to go. Packed nicely except one thing… they forgot to pack a spoon for the soup! Instead they gave me two forks and two knives. Ugh. Overall the food tastes great, it gets a bit pricy if you go all out and get everything such as a meal with soup, dessert, and drinks. Mine was $ 26.16, but it was sooooo good!

Great food and great service! I usually get the steak plate with the mushroom grain salad and brussel sprouts. Then one of the girls told me to get the mixed veggies so I could try the spiced carrots & the cabbage too, great tip! My sister and I came for dinner and the special duck entrée was AMAZING! I’d definitely get that from now on whenever it’s available! You will not be disappointed. Love the mint lemonade too. Haven’t tried their desserts yet, but I plan to.

My first time experiencing Tender Greens was the location in Hollywood. I got the Steak Salad and since then I’ve been hooked. When the Village was opening up and I saw a sign for Tender Greens, it just reminded me of the delicious steak salad I always get. My husband has never been there so it was the perfect timing to introduce him to it. We got the following: Fried Chicken Plate($ 11.50) — We got it for my kids to share, it had a piece fried chicken thigh, mashed potatoes and kale salad. My kids liked the chicken. Steak Salad(11.50) — The steak comes medium rare(my fav), beets, radishes and baby greens with a horseradish vinaigrette. I get it without the radishes, the radish makes my salad a little bitter. Chicken Soup($ 4) — It was a pretty small portion and they use dark meat. The soup did taste good but if you’re not a fan of dark meat, then I don’t recommend it. Agua Fresca-Pineapple($ 2.75) — very refreshing!!! Sometimes they let me get a free refill :) :) The salads can be a little expensive but it’s definitely a nice treat for me to go once in a while.
