This Brooks Brothers is run by at least one manager that should not be interacting with people.
She has no concept of how to build a longterm customer relationship, customer satisfaction, excellent service, a welcoming attitude and quite frankly any basic give a damn — except to her own satisfaction in avoiding any extra work.
I’ve frequented BB in San Francisco, NYC, Denver and Georgetown and they’ve all been solid.
Corporate, you need to take a closer look at this store’s managers and figure out who the weak link is. I recommend sending several secret shoppers in there and run through some scenarios with management and make a decision about management that will secure you a stronger customer loyalty base and service integrity that lives up to the Brooks Brother’s name.

Steer clear folks. They have nice sales occasionally. But the customer service is just awful. I bought 4 suits here in 2015. Spent over $ 1,400. After a half dozen wears, one of the suit’s seat started to wear down and a small hole appeared. Hadn’t worn the suit more than 6 times. I didn’t mind because I figured they’d exchange it. Nope. Since it was after 90 days, no return. But what really bothered me is how the store manager and another clerk both implied repeatedly that it was my fault. I finally asked them if they were accusing me of rolling around or playing football in the suit. As if my grand plan was to buy a bunch of suits and then scam them out of a new pair of pants 5 months after he purchase. Just unreal. My only remedy is to ship the pants to Connecticut (at my expense) for an evaluation to determine if I am worth of a refund or exchange. Is it so hard to believe that maybe they made one crappy pair of pants? I’ll never buy a suit from Brooks Brothers again.

This is a great store, from the customer service to the selection. I’ve purchased some quality items here at great discounts. One of my all-time favorite blazers was purchased here, as well as many pants, polos, dress shirts, and even ties. Despite being a factory store, you would never think so from the kind of treatment you receive from the staff, which is no less exceptional than one finds at a regular BB store. The store is well-maintained with clothing neatly hung and folded when appropriate. I highly recommend this place as one’s introduction to BB.

As with most of Potomac Mills outlet stores, you aren’t going to find the latest items Brooks Brothers is selling, but there are still some very nice items to be had here usually.
I especially recommend this store to young adults starting out in the workforce looking to build up a nice professional wardrobe without going completely broke. Shirts and ties typically go for half of what they cost in a normal Brooks Brothers store, and they have sales quite often.
Most recently, they’ve started to carry more of the Brooks Brothers slim fit shirts which are more popular these days. I recommend trying these.

The BB Outlet is always a good staple for BB signature ties, dress socks, dress shirts, and knitwear.
