I have been eating here since I was in 6th grade and now I’m in college. This food is fast, cheap and so delicious! You could never go wrong with fresh taco! The soft chicken tacos are to die for!!! Seriously the best spot for tacos ever!

Been coming here for about 6 years now. It’s cheap and quick food — gets the job done. Their steak and fries and good but a bit dry and quesadillas are okay too. Definitely an easy quick bite to get after a night of drinking

Yummy food worth every penny. They aren’t expensive and service is great. We had the steak tacos and chicken tacos. They are not cheap with the meat either, they put enough and its not rubbery or tough. Perfect portions for a great price.

I would definitely recommend the tacos they have there, they are the best but there was one thing bad. I went there with my friends and we got cheese fries. When we opened it we found that there was mold on the cheese and we threw it out right away. Therefore if you every go to fresh taco I would suggest that u check your food to make sure it has no mold.

Ok. I have to admit, it’s a bit… strange…wrong even. Looks like a fast food Asian restaurant in the mall with a numbered menu and too many choices to believe that anything is good. But if Fresh Taco is wrong, I don’t wanna be right! I had the veggie nachos and they were AMAZING! The veggies tasted so fresh and were very flavorful. It wasn’t greasy and the portion size was incredible. Honestly never had veggie nachos with broccoli but it was soo delicious. I was visiting my daughter who lives in the area and swears by this place. I’m a fan!

Wait. what? I ordered a steak fajita. I got a mushy mess. I have no idea what I was given. Was it steak? Chicken? Small woodland creature? «It» was mixed together with peppers, onions, oil and a strange green liquid that is apparently called«guacamole». The flavor wasn’t all that bad and I haven’t gotten sick yet so I will give it a solid 2 star rating.

Terrible. We ordered fajitas tonight and received strips of dried out meat, a cup of steamed vegetables(onions, green peppers and carrots, of all things) and a pile of the weirdest«tortillas» ever. They were about 5x as thick as a normal tortilla, doughy and rubbery. Nachos were soggy and bland. I wasn’t expecting anything great but this is several steps below Taco Bell. Avoid.

This place is great for a quick and cheap bite– if you are in a rush– I ordered a vegetable quesadilla and the veggies tasted fresh like they were steamed… can’t really comment on anything else but its not bad and super cheap… does the job… and the staff is polite.

It’s a little odd that this Tex-Mex place is owned and operated by Asians and looks like a Chinese restaurant, but the food is no joke. I got the large size burrito, which was almost as big as my head and stuffed to the brim with meat, cheese, rice, beans, lettuce and tomato. And, it was only like $ 6 or so. Fresh, delicious, filling, and didn’t make me sick, so I’ll definitely be back soon.

Just tried this out of curiosity and my desire for some Mexican flavor. For being really cheap, volume and flavor was ok. Not like mindblowingly good, just kinda ok. I ordered the black bean burrito. Had rice, cheese, and black beans with sides of sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and guac. It was an open burrito with a thick tortilla on the bottom. The problem was that the tortilla was really stiff. It was like rubber. I think it was somewhat overcooked or kept warm for too long. May try again in the future to see if this was one time thing.

This is my all time favorite Mexican spot! But it’s more tex mex. Service is so friendly and fast. The portions are huge. They make homemade tortillas so they are hot and delicious. The best I’ve ever had. I usually get an extra tortilla just to eat on the side. They also have this hot sauce that is thick and chunky and makes everything taste amazing. If you’re in Sunnyside, this is a cheap quality spot you need to check out. I’ve been going for about 4 years now. Even though I now live on the Upper East Side, this is about a once every 2 months trip that I need to make!

Basically a slightly better version of taco bell for some dishes. This place comes in handy if you need something quick and cheep. Definitely the best of the asian-mexican food joints in the area.

For being a fast taco joint the ground taco meat is surprisingly good. Definitely has a Tex-Mex taste too it, which is exactly what they advertise. The soft tacos remind me of the gordita wrap from Taco B., which make them very filling. There is limited seating but we did not have a problem. The hot sauce is thick and comes in a ketchup bottle, so you can have as much as you want. I wish the tacos also came with chopped onions, that would be a nice addition.

This is THEFRESHTACO. I started with the ridgewood location. It’s great fast fresh tacos and quesadillas for quick bites or late grub hunt. They defiantly do something different that makes them stand out! Complete satisfaction in your mouth. I just wish they were open late nights! Not a place to sit-in! Check out their website for menus;

Okay, it’s not exactly the best Mexican I’ve ever had, but for what it is(Tex-Mex made by an Asian staff), it’s awesome. It’s like greasy spoon, comfort Tex-Mex. It’s slightly disheartening to watch them melt the cheese for your nachos in a microwave and drizzle it from a measuring cup over your chips(and by the time you get it home, the cheese is congealed and rubbery, and you have to basically tear it apart with your fingers), and yet it’s still totally tasty. I usually forgo the guacamole, because I don’t think it’s super fresh, but the salsa is good, and the hot sauce is HOT. The dinner-size burrito is huge and open-face, and the tortilla is thick and almost pita-like. The chicken is moist and tender. My favorite menu item, though super simple, is the black bean quesadilla. The tortillas are fresh, the cheese stays melted, and the beans are fantastic. I could eat 12 of these quesadillas in a row.

Ummmmm so my sister tells me that her friend found a roach in the taco she was eating. Now granted that the friend she is talking about is a snobby B*$%h, I kind of see it happening.
