This is the only legit Mexican food I’ve found in the Southern MA and Northern RI area. Hell, even Boston! Best street tacos, authentic spices, and a cool location to chill out and enjoy the weather.

I used to live right near Tacos Don Nacho and a friend of mine decided fm try it. I was never a fan of Mexican food so I didn’t partake the first time. The food smelled so good I couldn’t resist the second and now I get cravings for their steak burrito. Luckily I work about a mile away! The food is delicious, cheap, and fast. The burritos are also HUGE. They do no consistently have a the green hot sauce that I love but that is no big deal. The service is good — there is sometimes a language barrier but they are friendly and fast and accurate. There is also a little seating area that is always packed on nice days at lunch.

basically everything i ever got from this place was fantastic and authentic and huge. Andrew L is full of baloney and is probably racist or something. sopes top notch. huaraches top notch. burritos are massive. lengua is great. tacos are great but get them with corn tortillas so they give you real tacos and not american tacos with cheese and stuff. really, really good food.

Food is excellent and I would’ve gave them five stars but the service was horrible and they gave me the wrong food. I told them in Mexican too. Smh

Delicious! What can I say? You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. I love the burrito. For someone who isn’t a huge eater, all their dishes are easily 2 meals. I usually call my order in ahead of time so it’s ready when I get there. I make all of my friends go if they’ve never been. Give it a try

When we moved in down the street I was bummed about the lack of food options in the Woon. Tried Don Nachos out and have been coming back weekly for last couple of months. They make great chorizo quesadillas, and a very good chimichanga. They upgraded their menus recently and upped the price of every item a buck, so that kind of sucks. Still a great place to grab some lunch.

After giving this place lots of business and several tries, I will never ever eat at this place ever again! FOODPOISONING! I got a burrito around 2:30 and around 8:30 started puking out of both ends all night long. I am better today, thankfully I will be able to enjoy my Father’s Day. They probably buy their meat at price right. Eat here at your own risk!

The steak tacos are ok I’ve had worse but I liked the recipes better from the Previous owner. The wait is long sometimes. Over all if you know what to get it’s not bad for Woonsocket.

Tacos Don Nacho has the same quality as its predecessor«Tacos Jalisco» but like tacos jalisco beware if they try to pawn off a gringo taco on you(flour tortilla w/cheese) always go for the corn! The tortas are really tasty, I’ve gone with the pork, steak, and chicken and all are equally as good. The tamales are a great addition to the menu. Don Nacho is quick, cheap and tasty.

Tacos Jalisco(RIP) switched ownership to Tacos Don Nacho a while back. At the time of the change, I made the old owner tell me where he was going b/c I was honestly starting to panic about my tasty taco pipeline. I live in Providence and no place was as consistently good, fast, and inexpensive while maintaining quality as Tacos Jalisco(they paid attention to the little drool worthy things like appropriate spicing on the meats, fresh radishes and onion, 2 different salsas, toasted corn tortillas, etc.) All in all, I’m relieved that I can still get good tacos at Tacos Don Nacho and would revisit when the taco cravings hit. One note: there is a new guy at the window that does not speak a lick of English and had to keep calling out to the owner for help translating(I had to ask for«agua» b/c he didn’t understand«water») so break out your rusty high school Spanish if you can.
