Food was very good. It’s real mom and pop kind of place. The grill is right there near where you eat at the counter. The chef asks you directly how you want things and he seems like he seriously cares to get it right. My favorite part. My my second grader goes to the bathroom and as he comes back the chef says«Did you wash your hands?». Now some people might get offended but I love that cleanliness is on this guys mind. And of course, my kid hadn’t! I can tell him a thousand times a day but he’ll still skip it if he can. I’ll be back!

OMG, I want to write this review in ALLCAPS! I had the BEST experience buying and eating these donuts. I was driving up from DC on the way to NH, finally had the chance to get these donuts. The donuts are very, very rare — as in, I’ve never had chocolate glaze and chocolate with jimmies donuts on par with donuts from the old Cottage Donuts in Newton, Mass. These donuts, apparently, are made with same process as Cottage Donuts. Thanks to Chowhound, I found out about this place. So, I was driving north from DC, was going to pick up the donuts just before the winter holiday break, last December. Ardi was SO sweet; they closed the shop early that day but he stayed behind and waited for me. Then I was so late that he left them outside for me and said to slip the payment under the door. I had ordered a dozen, but he left TWO dozen. And they were every bit as good as they were 35 years ago in Newton… THANKYOUDONUTCAFEFOR A WONDERFULEXPERIENCE!

These are the best donuts! Fresh and delicious! Also try the«gut buster» — a huge glazed cinnamon bun. As of 2÷1÷15 this place is under new ownership, and now accepts credit /debit cards. They said the donuts are made by the same people, time will tell. Also a bummer — all the ladies who have worked there for all time are no longer employed there.

Delicious breakfast here. I usually order cheese omelet. Home fries are really delicious.

I am in a short walking distance to the diner. It reminds me of the old-style, local diners I used to eat when younger. People bring their kids there, and everyone is nice to them. It is a real pleasure to see where you see people of all age groups. The blueberry pancakes were really good! The wait staff is really nice and friendly, and it’s easy to pick up a conversation with a couple of locals who are there every day. The donuts are fresh made. The coffee rolls are DEFINITELY worth trying: much better than the chain places down the street. There is a good variety of muffins and are large. It’s not a fancy place, but a good place to go for a good meal, cheap, and relaxing.

The donuts here are freshly made end you can taste the difference. These are definitely not shipped in from another locale. I made the mistake one morning to order a buttered bagel. I knew I was in trouble as soon as she opened the plastic bag to find what I was looking for. If you’re looking for a toasted bagel, no biggie. If you’re like my four year old and want it «fresh,» you may want to go elsewhere. The staff is friendly and the parking lot is usually busy.

4 more stars to dole out to the business universe now by publishing this Unilocal i am basically saying to my wife, i ate two donuts from here. WHERE else have you been eating donuts jeremy? but i figure im going to be in the general vicinity for the next few years, might as well getta writing. for me, i ask for two picks from the racks and racks of starchy cake yum yumssss. no coffee for me this time so take the experience for face. I wasnt use to the place and feared, perish even, a possible weak ice coffee, so i went right for the victory ring just to be safe. that ring was not brass this time my friends, but a raspberry filled chocolate frosted puck from the gods. the regulars get them all the time new worcester friend behind the counter informed me. i cant recall the other flavor, perhaps a cruller, not important, but what really is important is the quality and i sensed i would be back eventually, so wait for the update my 6 fans! fine donuts with service with a smile, a worcester smile MUHAAAMUHAAMUHAAMUHAAAA
