P J’s Hair Tech

We love PJ’s! Bill and Phil are both excellent at what they do: coloring, cuts, styles, special occasions. What we love most of all is how friendly they both are. No snooty, snobbing here. Instead you are welcomed with a warm smile and treated as friends. Always.
Only reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the shop could really use being cleaned up and clutter removed.
They accept checks or cash only. No credit cards.
They accept walk-​ins but appointments are recommended.

I have been a customer of PJ’s Hair Tech since 1992, continuing to patronize the salon even after moving out of state. Phil, the owner, and his partner, Billy, are a delight to work with. Billy is my regular hair stylist and always does a great job with my hair color and cut. He knows what works with my hair and is able to achieve a pleasing result each time. I generally go for a cut and color about every 6 weeks. My teenage daughter also goes to Billy for her haircuts and always comes out looking great. For her proms, she had her hair done by Phil, who specializes in French braids and other up-​dos. He has done a wonderful job making her look truly elegant.
PJ’s Hair Tech serves a diverse clientele, ranging from children to the elderly and including both men and women. No matter who the client is, Phil and Billy are friendly and personable. They are both very caring and attentive to the needs and desires of their clients. I have been impressed with how they are so kind and patient with their elderly clients, some of whom appeared to have problems with memory and mental function. To me, they go beyond being hairdressers… they are more like old friends. I look forward to my appointments as a chance to relax and enjoy myself while getting my hair done.
