Sadly disappointing, The food use to be fantastic and flavorful. but I believe they changed chefs a few times over the years which is understanding, but has sadly caused a dramatic change in taste and quality of the food. I have lived here my whole life and have been going to Bobo’s for years since its first opened, but nowadays the boneless pork is tough, general tso chicken is mushy like it has been saved and reheated from the previous day and they threw a little more sauce on top. The rice is bland, and the egg rolls use to be a lot bigger with plenty of cabbage and meat, but the egg rolls have shrunk, as well as the portion size of the entire meal, and the prices have gone up slightly. The food is warm when you get it. but not hot enough for me. Its sad to see the decline because I know how great and tasty the food really use to be. I hope they hire better chefs to bring Bobo back to life. its either a hit or miss.

This is the best Chinese place around town to get. They have everything that I want. It is not a hole in the wall like the others. It has pretty good food and highly recommend the General Tso Chicken. It has such good sauce and it’s delicious!!!

They’re quick and good, but you can feel the heavyness of the food the rest of the day, and it isn’t good reheated

Not good is the best way to describe the meal I had here. It’s in a strip mall that has seen better days. The egg rolls were half the normal size. And the sesame chicken was sweet and unappealing. The pork fried rice didn’t taste like it was fried. I would not recommend this place.

Great food! We have had some terrible Chinese in the past especially in NYC. But this place is better hands down! The sesame children and shrimp with mixed veggies are terrific! Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for bobo but we’re let down. Ordered Hunan beef with a side of egg drop soup my wife had chicken lo mein. The egg drop soup was very thick and very little flavor. The Hunan beef was oddly bland which is exactly the opposite Hunan beef is supposed to be they stated its a spicy dish but it was not spicy at all. The lo mein was lacking flavor as well. I will try bobo again in the future but will continue to use chopsticks as my go to place not because chopsticks is great. It’s ok but comparing the two chopsticks is better!

This is one of the best take out restaurants in Ocean and Burlington County. It is in a mall that is a throw back to Abilene Texas. BoBo has the best dumplings anywhere so we always order them steamed and fried. It delivers to Cream Ridge so they have a pretty large service area

The food is okay but the establishment is very small so it’s better to order to-go.

Maybe I’ve been spoiled with great Chinese back home. No… I have DEFINATLEY been spoiled with great Chinese is NY. That being said, Bobo is ok but the dishes I have sampled(Szechuan Chicken, Chicken w/garlic sauce) seem to be overly sweet and the sauces are not very flavorful. It does seem to be better than its competition down the road but still needs work. BoBo is just SoSo!
