Great service. Great food. I loved the egg foo young. It tasted awesome and loved the gravy they put on top of it. Great celery mixed salad & flavorful rice. All around great meal. Quiet atmosphere.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch, hoping for a good Chinese meal; after all, it had a 4-star rating. Quite honestly, this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I ordered sweet and sour pork, and I received things that looked like mini corn dogs covered with florescent orange sauce. I couldn’t tell what kind of meat was inside of the breading. The pork chow-mein was awful. There was no hint of pork to be found, and it was basically veggies served over crunchy noodles. No thank you.

Bad experience, waitress was rushed as it was only her and a cook. Waitress was pleasant and apologetic. Silverware was dirty, asked for replacement, ended up grabbing one from another table. She took our order didn’t write anything down which caused a mix up. No major. Food was okay. I felt sick with in a few hours of eating it. Who knows. I would not recommend.

My favorite Chinese in Yakima! A must for me when I come back with my family for a visit. The new owners are fantastic and very friendly. During my last visit everything was hot and delicious.

Probably one of the only Chinese restaurant I would recommend. Been searching for a good Chinese restaurant and I found it! The restaurant is clean and the interior design gives off an 80s classic Chinese restaurant vibe. My dad thought they sold Peking duck because there’s a Peking palace in Cali… no connection. The food was fresh and tasty… the chow mein was flavorful! Service was great. The prices were pretty usual for a typical Chinese restaurant… not too great but they give you plenty of food, enough to take some home.

The egg flower soup was very bland to start with. I had the dinner combo #8, the almond fried chicken was excellent, fried rice was very plain, bbq pork was ice cold and flavorless, chow mein was yummy and the egg roll was ok. The worst part was the sweet and sour prawns, they were definitely not cleaned properly. Great service though.

The restaurant seemed clean, and it is in a convenient location, but unfortunately the food and service were mediocre at best. I was seated right away, but the waiter took a long time to even bring a glass of water; rather than taking my drink and food order right away, he inexplicably decided to just bring the water, come back later to take my drink order, and then come back again even more later to bring the tea and finally accept my food order. It could have been cooked by then if he had let me order the first time he stopped at the table.(I should note that contrary to a previous review, the hot tea was no longer complimentary but instead cost $ 1.) I decided to order the #8 dinner combination, which had almond chicken, pork chow mein, sweet & sour prawns, some BBQ pork slices, an egg roll, and fried rice. It also came with a cup of soup(I chose hot & sour), which he said he would bring right out. It actually took close to ten minutes to get the soup; he told me he had to make fresh soup because«what was in there didn’t look appetizing.» I don’t know if I would have told a customer that, myself, but at least he made up a reason for forgetting me again. The hot & sour soup was pretty tasty, though not among the best I’ve had; strangely, though, it was served with saltine crackers, which didn’t really pair well. The food came out shortly afterward, before I had a chance to finish the soup. I started with the chow mein, which was actually pretty good, though I was disappointed that the«pork» involved was just shredded-up pre-made Chinese BBQ pork. The egg roll was also quite nice; it was a strange and unusual shape, sort of like a Hot Pocket®, but that just proved they made it themselves. Fried rice was the usual americanese stuff. The BBQ pork slices were quite dry, and the mustard they served it with was dreadful – it was much better without it, which is kind of sad, really. Finally, the tempura batter had an odd bitter aftertaste to it, which affected the flavor of both the prawns and the almond chicken. Other than that mustard, everything was edible… but I think I’ll go looking for a place with better adjectives than ‘edible’ next time I’m in Yakima.

Horrible experience! Staff seated us & then didn’t come to our table for at least another 5 to 7 minutes. Waitress was rude. Food mediocre. Definitely not worth the price. Skip this one.

Theplace is okay the prices aren’t bad but it’s definitely not the best Chinese that I’ve ever had… But I take it is the only Chinese in Yakima that is worth eating so for that I give it a 3 star… Will eat there again. Good customer service and there take out is fast and good portions…

Best Chinese in Yakima! By far. They make all the food fresh. They cut and bread all meats… never ordered ready to cook! Yummy!

We have been here a few times, the mongolian beef is excellent. I like how they use breast meat for their chicken dishes. I’m not a fan of using BBQ pork in their items though. Good service, very prompt and friendly.

It was my mothers birthday and she said that she wanted Chinese food but there were no good Chinese restaurants in Yakima. I suggested this one, and everyone left satisfied, generous portions, decent prices, and good specials. Service was a bit slow but we showed up with a large party without notice. I had the«General Tao Chicken», very good. If you like hot tea, it was complimentary with a meal, along with egg soup. I will be back, my favorite Chinese restaurant in the valley. *the tea might no longer be free, sorry.

The best Chinese restaurant in Yakima. Service is great. Our granddaughter loved their broccoli and beef. We don’t eat pork and we have no problem making a selection, a great variety of dishes. When we did eat pork their egg rolls were out of this world, delicious. I do wish that they made veggie spring rolls. Oh well everything else is delicious.
