Tasteless food, bacon had no taste neither did the chicken and the person who brought our food kept Bringing honey mustard instead of honey BBQ.

Today we went for food at about 3:30 pm on a Sunday. They were crazy busy! I had to push my stall button 4 times before someone answered but said hold on. I am breastfeeding and have to watch out for many allergens. Good news I could eat a lot of stuff at sonic. Fried stuff is fried in veggie oil — no soybean And no dairy or soy in their hamburger buns It took over 12 minutes for our order to come out. We ended up being their for over 35 minutes total(without eating) When our order came, my whole order was wrong. I got fries instead of tots and cheese on my burger. They were quick to fix the mistake though. I like their food and it’s one of the few places I can eat so we will be back, but I think they need to step it up a bit. I ended up leaving with a crying baby since we had to wait so long.

Terrible service at drive through today. I’ve been waiting 5 minutes to put in a drink order. Yes, I could go somewhere else. But my end location is across the street. This is madness, not Sparta.

I have been wanting to try Sonic ever since Paris Hilton worked there on the simple life! I know kinda weird but they made it look like a great place. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but I wasn’t expecting anything super amazing. Which is probably good because it wasn’t amazing. Easy to find, but kinda confusing to get in. They have drive thru and drive in option which is nice. A few tables outside if you don’t want to eat in your car. They have a basic normal menu. Except for their drink selection. Way to many milkshake options to pick one. The chocolate peanut butter cookie taste just like a tagalong! I would totally make my way back out there for that! And sounds like the slushies are amazing so those would probably also be worth a trip. Nice kids menu, with good side options and you can upgrade their drinks. Over all the food was ok. Tater tots yummy but nothing great, fries super bland, spicy chicken strips good and the bacon pretzel dog was actually way better then expected. But the best thing was the shakes! So maybe skip the food and just pick up a shake or slushie!

«I ate it I’ll rate it.», a olé friend of mine living in Mesquite, Texas told me that his ex girlfriend that was like 17 years younger… from Oklahoma was related some how to the Troy N. Smith Sr. whom started the Sonic Burger places in Oklahoma. Named Sonic in 1959, because the original name; Top Hat, was taken. To buy into the Sonic chain you must buy two stores to be approved. Guess there are outdoor and in Mall type of Sonics. Troy N. Smith Sr. the inventor(he had a co inventor whom died way back) supposedly showed up at a outdoor Family Reunion in Oklahoma of hers in a Jag’.” He’s rich!”, my friends ex arm candy told him. Ha At the Sonic in Mesquite TX., the gal servers walk not skate. That is up to the individual chain owner if servers skate or walk. There the gal servers just let their tummies a hang out. Most were wearing low rise super tight waisted jeans or pants that just squeezed out their tummies. With crop T-shirts(or hum too short or small tight T-shirts.)Man that site was incentive to not eat a burger… or at least skip the cheese?
******FUNINVESTORSSITEFACTS******* In one year, SONIC: — sells enough tots that when placed end-to-end would circle the globe… TWICE — sells enough Footlong Quarter Pound Coneys to border the 48 contiguous United States — sells enough Cherry Limeades to fill more than 50 Olympic sized swimming pools — gives away enough mints to reach the top of the Empire State Building and back to the ground… 5000 times.
Oh my REVIEW; I think their onion rings taste of a bit of cotton candy? Odd. The burger was small basic and was fine. I like there slushy type of drinks but I don’t prefer to drink sugar type of drinks. Nothing special there or good enough to brink me back. It’s been rated Number 10 now out of 50 chains.

Very slow service, took over 10 minutes to receive our food. Our order was incorrect, and when I mentioned the error I got a «what do you expect from me?!» look. We were one of two customers, after an hour of being open. They were also out of COFFEE, jalapeños, and fiesta sauce. None of which they would not get in for 3 days. Go to McDonalds across the road.

Food isnt anything great… but if you go from 2−4pm you will get a great deal. Lots of 99 cent option and .60 slushies. My husband, daughter and I stopped the other day… 3 chili dogs, 3 tots and 3 slushies $ 8 They also mail coupons :)

Food isn’t all that great. I had their double bacon cheese rue and subbed onion rings instead of fries. The burger was underwhelming and the buns didn’t taste all that great. Onion rings were ok, not bad. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did have to wait for my food for a lot longer than I’m used to at a sonics. They apologized for the wait. The problem is, they were not busy. This place is probably good for their shakes and slushed and that’s about it. It also seems the drive-thru is faster than the drive-in, so choose the latter.

Worst fast food ive had in my life. Its like they went to the freezer section in walmart and microwaved your order for you.

We always hit Sonics on a road trip and get Cherry Limeades. This Sonic was nice enough to snap the stem in the lid so I didn’t have to shovel through the ice for it when I finished. They also gave us a mint with drinks(which some of the cheapo Sonics in larger cities have stopped doing)

Food was TERRIBLE! There is no rest room available for use by customers. You drive in, park next to the menu board, push the button and order. You can pay by credit card right there, or give it to the«roller gal» when she comes with your order. It’s cheap food, was less than 20 for all of us to eat a bunch of different thing, but the chili cheese tatter tots were icky, the jr burger had a stale bottom bun that tasted like cardboard. Staff was cute, rolling up to the car with the food.

We were on a road trip trying to decide where to eat and there was Sonic. None of us had ever eaten there so we decided to try it. Mistake. My chicken strips were rubbery. My wife’s jr. Deluxe had a stale bun so hard she couldn’t eat and had to toss it. I loe the experience, but the food was TERRIBLE

Sonic has never been what you call a quality, high end dining experience. You are in your car, what can you really expect? It’s not great but it’s not the worst ever. Just keep your expectations low, and you’ll satisfied that they were met.

So my husband and I are driving for literally hours in the desert and we says to ourselves, «When we get to Yakima let’s go to Sonic for a tasty strawberry limeade!» And when we finally got there we were insulted by terrible service and poorly executed food. Our strawberry limeade hardly had any strawberries in it and it was mostly ice. The tater tots we ordered were undercooked(ick!). When the little roller-girl arrived with our food I says, «Is there ketchup in this bag? No, there isn’t!» and she says thank you to the dollar tip my husband hands her and says, «I’ll be right back with your ketchup.» And then we see her tootling around serving other people so my husband gets out of the car and goes and stands by the order window and nobody helps him so he goes back to the car and pushes the call button! LAME! Face it, the food at Sonic is just OK, and nothing to really set your heart on. We probably wouldn’t have minded so much if we hadn’t just traveled through the desert for a strawberry limeade only to receive a big cup of ice.

I wish there was a Sonic closer to where I live. Not because of the«famous» burgers, tots, or service. BUT because of the SLUSHIES. I got a powerade slushy and first sip I was like«whatever, cool»…but while driving back to Seattle this slushy stayed a slushy. It didn’t melt! The very last sip was the same as the first. I couldn’t get over it, im sure my boyfriend thinks I’m an idiot. But seriously, we were exiting near Bothell AND my slushy was STILL full on slushy intact. We also tried the cheddar poppers and tots. They were both good. We didn’t order burgers because we figured they wouldn’t be worth it. Also– I thought the car hops were suppose to be on skates?

After being teased by basic cable commercials for years, I finally had a chance to stop by this Sonic location when I was in Yakima last summer. We didn’t eat, but it was 102 degrees that day, so we all ordered various drinks. Most of us got the slush drinks, and they lived up to the hype and anticipation, tasting just as good and being as refreshing as envisioned when seeing all those commercials flashing by in the past. They also opened up a location a bit closer to civilization in Puyallup last year, so hopefully I’ll have a chance to swing by and try some of their food too.

My First SONIC Burger !!! OK this was my first time at SONIC and it lived up to the hype so I was rolling into Yakima last night about 11pm and was like OK what to do for food, and what is all lit up finally but Sonic Drive-In. so I pulled in and parked in a stall then checked out there menu, then pushed the little button to order, I got a Double with Cheese and Tatter Tots, a Medium Soda and some Cheddar Poppers with Ranch to dip them in OK the Poppers were like Lava in my mouth I almost burned my tongue but they were so good, then came the Tatter Tots nice and warm better than fries any day. And last but not least the show stopper … The Burger was so damn juicy and tasty, the bun was so soft and fresh they could of baked it right there, and the chopped onions were just right not too much, nor to little and they are fresh no dehydrated like some big chain’s like to use, and the sauce was just the right amount it complimented the Burger and onions an cheese instead of covering up the taste of Burger, that’s right you could taste the Beef and that makes a good burger in my opinion Sonic you have a winner I will be back
