They are so polite, the food is awesome, delicious and beautiful. Yes, beautiful. They design their food and atmosphere. It was the best brunch I have ever had. Reserve beforehand and ask for outside tables although the insides are fun enough.

I went there last Saturday morning with a friend who lives in Yakima. She had never tried the café. The café was recommended by one of my co-workers. I ordered the oatmeal with all the sides. It was such a huge portion, I ate some for breakfast on Saturday, Sunday, today and will have enough for tomorrow’s breakfast. My friend ordered the omelet. She can’t have things with gluten, so instead of toast they brought here sliced tomatoes at her request. We got there right when they opened and opted to sit on the patio. We thought the patio was a great area. The staff were helpful and had some great recommendations. I will definitely make another visit.

On our way to Oregon looking for a good Brunch place and The White House came up with great reviews. We are so glad we stopped! Our plates came out and the presentation was amazing. The taste of the food totally matched! Easily The best Chicken Salad we have ever eaten. Our plate was filled with fresh fruit. Along side a tasty fresh sis salad. The staff was friendly and very attentive. No reason not to give it 5 stars.

This is a nice little café in a B & B. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and inviting! I would recommend checking it out. My only complaint and the reason they didn’t get 5 stars is the menu is very limited! A limited menu is ok if there is variety but they just used the same ingredients in 3 different dishes! Mind you we only had breakfast and it was better than most places in this area.

This is probably the best breakfast in Yakima! Home cooking in a lovely White House B&B. Quaint old house, charming white everything– lots of windows and sunlight. Everything served«with a sweet and a doily» delightful! Great coffee, omelet, quiche and the Breakfast Delight included chocolate banana bundt cake! Yum! We will be back!

What a cute place with fabulous food! Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and had the White House breakfast surprise. The coffee was great, the scramble was fluffy and flavorful, and the coffee cake was unbelievable! It was the best breakfast pastry I’ve ever had! And I love pastries! Would absolutely recommend and hope to come back and try lunch soon!

I went here last weekend with all of the girls in my family, and everyone from age 5 – 86 was extremely pleased with the food, ambiance, and service. They really make dining at the White House a special experience. The chicken salad is a winner! Don’t be put off that they sprinkle powdered sugar on every single dish. Everyone in my party loved it, and it made no huge difference. I just requested no sugar on my sandwich, lol!

I was visiting for a day and I stumbled upon this place. I loved the ambiance! It has the Victorian look and feel. The food presentation was amazing and tasted great. The strudel was fantastic. Must try the hot apple cider. It is a little pricey but worth trying. Awesome customer service too! I will definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

The place is adorable, they sat 9 of us immediately the day after thanksgiving, also allowed us to have breakfast after hrs. Options on menu r minimal and all three options are mostly the same thing, eggs, ham, tomatoes and onions. Food was plentiful and really good. There was table sitting in back room in the sun who were hot, we weren’t it was 30 degrees out and they insisted on having the door open, really rude customers! Although management did not remedy the situation, until last 10 minutes of meal by bringing a small space heater. Really wanted to give them five starts because for yakima this place is adorable and good! Just don’t sit in back room in sun if your gonna be hot and distrurb the other customers. Bacon is needed on the menu! :) sweet delight was delish.

What an adorable bed and breakfast. I was sweetly greeted by the hostess and taken to a table. The ambiance is very chill, casual and a great place to bring yourself or have some company. I’m dining for one today, a «Me party» as they stated in the latest Muppet movie. The hostess had given me the menu and gave the morning’s specials which were two types of quiche and a baked(roasted) pork tenderloin with eggs, fruit and a giant apple crumb muffin drizzled with caramel sauce and a side of whipped cream. Oh man, my breakfast was to die for! The pork was nice, moist and tender. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the muffin was sooo decadent especially with the caramel drizzle and whipped cream. The fruit was ok, I’m not a fan of honeydew but that is what a normal breakfast fruit cup comes with. Their coffee was just ok, subpar at the most. It wasn’t dark enough for me, nor did it have that robust coffee flavor I always look for. It was refillable so I had two cups worth, I had to stay awake while driving after all. If I were to go back to the Gorge for a concert, spend the night and head out early towards Yakima I would come back and have breakfast here. It was so worth it.

Quite possibly the most beautiful food presentation I’ve seen. Big, bright, colorful, exuberant plates brimming with fruit and herbs and texture. Unfortunately the taste did not follow in suit. I’m a fan of healthful, simple, fresh food but this stuff was surprisingly bland. The chicken salad was way too creamy and the bread sucks away any morsels of flavor. Also tried the tuna salad which was on special and I have the same complaints. Everything needs a mega-dose of salt and a better balance of flavors. Interior is cozy and open and bright and makes you feel at home and like an honored guest at the same time. Country chic might be the term for it. Your eyes will feast here but your stomach and tongue will be left hungry.

We headed out of town today and decided to hunt up a different part of Yakima, after some spectacularly good meals downtown. Breakfast finds us at the White House, which is in a new part of town across from a hospital. Charm. This place has got charm, in the gardens, the wooden and linoleum floors, and abundant windows. Food. She is a big fan of oatmeal, and while there is a lot of room for variation in the world of oatmeal, the one thing you can do completely wrong is to serve instant oatmeal. No amount of fresh fruit can make up for the atrocity of instant oatmeal. I went with an omelet. Bland, with what appeared to be bagged cheese on it. Not particularly flavorful. The toast was also forgettable. What was not forgettable: powered sugar on an omelet. Dear me. Service was OK, coffee was OK. This was beyond a doubt the poorest breakfast experience if this trip and memorably poor.
