My husband loves DQ but now they that they have discontinued the chocolate covered strawberry waffle bowl he stops by there a lot less. I love the blizzards!

I’m updating to say this place totally knows how to make a blizzard. Not only that, but… okay, so I’m outing myself. I’m the idiot that always comes through and asks for sprinkles because one of the dairy queens around here has them and I always (always) forget which one it is. I will until the day they all close, I swear, and I try not to but welp.
So I ask for sprinkles and they say «oh I’m sorry we don’t have those». I ask for m&m’s, but they can’t put those on the cones. Then the girl on the loudspeaker goes «…You know what! We can totally put a blizzard in a waffle cone!»
Holy crap I’m not kidding it’s the best thing I’ve had since cold stone. It is a Delight and had I not been on a seriously hardcore time crunch today I’d have had another. I need to grab another one fairly shortly. It was SO good.

This place does not know how to make blizzards the real dairy queen way. Their blizzards are more like milk shakes.

We go to Dairy Queen more than any other fast food joint in Yelm because they are the only place that serves grilled cheese sandwiches and my oldest son does not enjoy the texture or taste of meat so it’s the only place I can go for junk food that satisfies the ENTIRE family. The customer service is always good. Not the cheapest fast food place around but obviously they have a ton of desserts to choose from so I think that’s their main selling point.

Ice cream and cheeseburgers! How can you not like this place?! Good friendly service and Great food for cheap. Love that this is here in Yelm.
