One star is not even the correct rating I should leave. It should be much lower. The fries are stale every time I come through, they never have their fries salted and if they are they are over salted. Also 2.60 before taxes for a SMALL McFlurry that is the size of a dentist waiting room water cup is down right ridiculous. They are also super stingy with their sauces even when you ask for extra and are willing to PAY for the extra sauce cups. I want to say that I’m never going back because of the continuously horrible service but that is most likely a lie. THANKS for the great service Yelm McDonalds.

Service was slow during lunch rush. This was mostly due to the fact they only had one register open at the front. Most times I come here I go through the drive thru. I don’t normally have any problems in the drive thru other then not getting napkins or straws on a few occasions.

May be locally owned, but they don’t care about their local customers.
Left a tip below stating they will shut down on the lights on you in the drive through without care. YOU left the lights on, I assumed you’re open. Not everyone has the luxury of unlimited data on their phones to check your hours. Not to mention your hours are posted on a small sticker on the window of your drive through where you pick up the food (2nd window) thats hard to read in the dark or if you’re not right next to the window.
No «sorry we’re just closed up» or even a «we closed yo», just turned the lights off.

In the words of my wife, «this food is not fit for human consumption.» Seriously, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a McDonalds. The fries tasted like they had been reheated in a microwave. My wife had a Big Mac and it looked like it had been soaked in a bowl of thousand island. I ordered my Big Mac plan with cheese only but, no, they couldn’t get that simple request right. The only thing that came out good was my daughters hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge.
If you’re driving through Yelm I recommend skipping this McDonalds.

I think I just might be lucky… This McDonald’s for every visit has been consistent with speed, friendly service and hot food items. I will say that McDonalds as a company has been making things smaller and smaller ie smaller burger patties etc. overall that’s this franchises fault.

They get your order right about 75% of the time. We always check before leaving the window at any fast food joint. Fries are always a fav.

Simply the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. I have been looking for a reason to stop eating at McD’s and the Yelm location gave me my reason!
Rude staff all with untucked blouses. One talking on cellphone while making a coffee drink. Sloppy and unkept front end.
I was asked why I was standing at the counter after I ordered. Hmm, waiting over five minutes for my food. Burger was cold. Fries were hot but only half full.
Walking to my car I am treated with staff members yelling at each other outside.
Worst experience ever at a McDonalds. I will no longer go to ANY MCDonalds anywhere.

First, they can’t make a simple salad of five ingredients. That’s pretty ridiculous all by itself. Second, they can’t get an order right to save their jobs; nothing comes out the way we asked for it. Third, they work harder at going fast, than they do at getting your order correct or being polite to the customer.
But if you can get past that AND you like eating other peoples pubic hair, then this is totally the restaurant for you. I however, will not being going back.
