Located at the Ridge Hill shopping center… it’s a japanese place that is sectioned off. 1 side for teppanyaki, and the other side for regular seating. The teppanyaki is seated weirdly. You have a typical U table, but instead of 1 large teppanyaki flatbed, you have 2 smaller ones. Pretty much the middle section of the U gets screwed without a show. The food is typical — salty and buttery. However they did cook my filet mignon medium rare just as requested. The place is kid friendly, and the chefs do put on a decent show. However, the place is just your typical place. Nothing stands out here.

Went here on a Saturday night with my husband, it was a busy night but the hostess was very friendly and we got seated right away. Ambiance and vibe is nice, noise level is average, food is good! We got«out of control» roll which was tasty. The service was attentive, overall good and relatively fast– prices are average. Would recommend for a date night if you happen to be in the area.

We’ve been to many hibachi places over the years and this was far and away THEWORST! The waitress had an attitude and was rude from the moment we sat down. There were up charges and surcharges on things that were completely ridiculous(no option to have fried rice or noodles so there was a $ 3 extra charge to add on the rice to the noodles, $ 1 to switch the soup to salad…). The portions were tiny and I left hungry. The waiter tried to remove our plates before dishes were finished, and they tried to rush us out even though my daughter was still eating her dinner. The cook had no charisma and there was barely a show. The experience was a COMPLETELETDOWN and I would have walked out had I not been there with my kids. Next time I’ll spend the same money and go to Bonzai in Hartsdale where we’ve always had a great time, great food with leftovers!

I’ve visited this location 3 different times. 2 times for dinner and the 3rd(2 days ago on Saturday night) for drinks at the bar. DECOR: The décor is great. First time I walked in I was pleasantly surprised and remember saying«Wow, it’s so pretty». It is dimly lit with a romantic vibe. They have 3 separate seating locations. Main dining area, tables by the bar area and the hibachi section in the back. Large space. FOOD: Both dining visits I ordered the Pikachu Roll. I was eager to try it but ultimately was not too fond of it because of the cream cheese. When I visited the 2nd time I ordered it again w/o the cream cheese and they were very accommodating. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the exact rolls that were ordered but I know they were good. No complaints. When I go back I’ll definitely make note of them. DRINKS: Their Strawberry Margaritas are not good. Both times I ordered they were very weak and tasted like juice. I ordered the 2nd time on my 2nd visit to see if it was just the bartender but again I was very disappointed. I was however very happy to see that they served my favorite wine. Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Which is what I sipped on while having drinks at the bar. When I go back I’ll definitely have a more detailed review because of the fact that I haven’t dined there in a couple of months. All in all I really do like this place. Staff seems nice and accommodating and the food is good!

Was at the Verizon store to drop something off and we decided to eat at Little Buddha for lunch. Walked in, looked nice, we sat right down, and then it went down hill fast. Sunday is the only day of the week they do not have a Lunch Special. Fine. We ordered the Vegetable dumplings, a diet coke and water. Then a new waiter came over and took our main order– Two Rolls and the Pad Thai. The Dumplings came out fast(5 for $ 5). Then I started to notice that people who came in after us started receiving their meals. I looked at the clock and 35 minutes had passed already. Clearly at this point I was annoyed looking around for anyone to help. The MANAGER(Some guy in a blue shirt at the front of the house) walked by a number of times. Finally I caught the eye of another waiter who came over and asked if we had been served. We told him no and asked where our food was… THEYFORGETTOPUTITINTHECOMPUTER! They lost the ticket. The waiter managed to lose a ticket in the distance of 10 feet! He came back over and asked us what we ordered so that he could put it back in. When my wife said she didn’t remember the name of the rolls, we had to re-ask for a menu. At that point I was furious and asked for the check. Can you believe they ACTUALLY made us pay! 45 minutes there for a Diet Coke, a water and 5 dumplings and they still wanted the $ 7.60!!! How about«Sir, we messed up back, that is on the house, we are so sorry». Nope, a different waiter came back with the bill and said he was sorry. Someone who had NOTHING to do with this. Still no manager came back to say sorry. I hope the Manager gets fired and the waiter who took our order. They have no business working in a restaurant as they have no clue who to do it. If the owner wants advice, I can give better advice than this Manager as he didn’t even say sorry!!! Awful experience, we left very upset and will NEVER go back to this place again. Rarely am I this upset after an experience, but its the second time I’ve walked out before the food.

Not sure why this place is only rated 3⁄5 because my experience here was great. Wasn’t a fan of the soup they bring out as an appetizer, usually I don’t mind miso soup but this one smelled a bit odd. However the steak and shrimp hibachi was amazing. Steak was cooked to perfection and overall it was way more flavorful than the overrated Benihana. My wife had the chicken and steak, also great. Service was also fast(on a Friday night), I recommend!

I’ve come here a couple of times with my boyfriend… He introduced me to this restaurant. My lord this place is pretty great. I have yet to have a bad experience. Their service is quick their food taste amazing their sushi are also good. Their drinks are also great. I like the pineapple express drink. Their hibachi is great love the show. Their ambience is also mellow but lovely… I love going to this place. Their fried cheesecake and fried ice cream off the hook!!!

Went here because Yard House was packed. My guess is that’s how they get most of their business. My wife and I were on our first date night since the birth of our son and were just looking forward to sitting down to a nice meal together. We were told by the hostess that it would be a 20 minute wait and told to have a seat at the bar in the mean time. We were given a small piece of paper with the number 29 on it. After sitting at the bar for a few minutes and being ignored by the bartender because she was having a lengthy conversation with 2 other patrons, we heard the hostess faintly saying 29 from across the room. She paused for a moment, said it again and then moved on to 30 before we could get over to her. When my wife told her that we were 29 she told us she gave our table away because we didn’t answer. I told her that she said our number too quickly and never came to the bar area even though she sent us there. She then lied to us with an attitude and told us that she came to the bar and yelled 295 times. Never happened. She never moved from her hostess station across the room and never gave us a chance to get to her. And when I called her out on her blatant lie, she continued to lie and then walked away angrily telling us she would«try» to get us another table. No thanks, lady. Don’t do me any favors.

Great service. I got the crab avocado salad for starters and then the Thai coconut chicken both was good.

Funny when people rave so much about this places when the fact is, its just overpriced chinese food. We been here a few times, nothing wow or spectacular. Seeing the name little buddha, we expected to see a variety and bigger selection of vegetarian and non meat, we were wrong. Calling to order delivery is the worst, hence i always rather pick up when my hubs wanted something fast. They always take over an hour and on all 3 occassions they keep forgetting the rice! It happened so much, it start makes me wonder if its done on purpose. They are also very pricey. 3 pieces of fried fish fillet and vege with sauce n small golf ball size of brown rice comes up to $ 26. Still cant figure out how they came up with the prices. But its a decent place. We go there when everywhere else is packed with over 1 hr wait time.

I came here tonight with my two girlfriends. We each ordered a drink, I got the red sangria, one friend ordered the lychee martini and my other friend ordered the mango mojito. All the drinks were so good and a bit strong, which we liked lol For appetizers we shared Edamame and the crispy calamari. The calamari came with spicy mayo which was delicious. For dinner I ordered the shrimp pad thai which was a huge portion, i had to take it home. My two friends ordered general tsos chicken and an Out of Control roll. All the food was yummy. For dessert we ordered fried vanilla ice cream, tiramisu and I ordered the fried cheesecake which was amazing. I will def be going back.

Enjoyed the hibachi experience! Ordered lunch special salmon hibachi which included miso soup, salad and shrimp as an appetizer. The entrée included included rice, noodles and veggies. Great deal for a lunch special.

Good sushi, but the cooked portion of the menu leaves something to be desired. However, their version of the done-to-death tuna pizza was on par with Morimoto’s.and a lot cheaper. The décor is nice and the service was typical of these generic hybrid– Japanese/Thai/Pacific Rim places– efficient but not terribly friendly.

Overpriced, and just bad food. Simple as that. I get it, this is «asian fusion» food located on a shopping strip in Yonkers — hence the high prices. But what nerves they have to charge such absurd prices when they can’t even execute mediocre food. $ 19 for Singapore Mai Fun?! It was full of salt, and msg, and wasn’t even cooked with the right noodles. It was made with vermicelli aka what we call«fun see» in chinese, and not mai fun. That’s the stuff I eat when mamabear makes vegetarian dishes for Chinese New Year, not when I order a Singapore Mai Fun. $ 18⁄19 Szechuan Chicken and Shrimp Stir Fry?! I literally tasted no szechuan flavors in there, although I did see a lot of dried red peppers. All I tasted was msg, and a lot a lot of hoisin sauce. Not very delicious frozen shrimp, and barely any chicken too. Now, the only decent thing is the sushi. We only ordered rolls to be safe, and at least they weren’t bad. Not great, but doable. I must complain about the avocado though — The avocado in my eel avo. roll and cali roll were so not ripe and tasted like nothing, and was everything avocado shouldn’t be. But guess what? After the meal, my mouth was so tingly and dry from the MSG overload, my head was dizzy, and I was close to throwing up; and I would’ve if I wasn’t in public. So, 2 dishes, 4 rolls, and 2 sodas = An $ 80 bill that was not worth it + an upset stomach + an angry girl.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area! The food is always excellent, but it may be more appealing to those with an «acquired» taste. This is not Chinese take out food! It’s Asian fusion. I believe Little Buddha gets many of its negative reviews because people are expecting the same kind of food from the Chinese food place on the corner of their block. The staff is very attentive and courteous. I’ve never had to wait to be seated, of course weekends and nights are going to be a little busier. Some reviews say the service is lacking, but I have never had anything but great service even at different days and times coming to Little Buddha. The ambience of the establishment is great for dinner and lunch as there large windows to let in natural light during the day but not so much that you’ll be squinting or blocking the sun from your eyes. At night the illuminated décor provides an elegant but sophisticated feel. The food is always top notch! Start with their sushi rolls! The specialty rolls are presented so well that your eyes will enjoy it as much as your taste buds. The sushi is always fresh no fishy taste! The other dishes use genuine Asian spices and flavors and the portions are always enough to make getting dessert a difficult decision. Little Buddha is hands down my favorite Asian restaurant in this area!

Went to the hibachi side of the restaurant for dinner with my daughter. Our drinks were good — I had the Starburst and she had the Mai Tai. Just wish we either had larger glasses or less ice but they were both good. I have to say after having eaten at several hibachi restaurants, the jokes gets a little stale — either they should eliminate them or come up with some new ones. Nonetheless I like to what them cook my food and serve it without waiting. I had the shrimp and steak, my daughter had the chicken and shrimp, but were very good. It comes with soup, salad, rice, veggies and noodles — all of it was delicious. I have to say the service there is very good as well. As soon as you’re done eating, someone immediately comes to remove your plates and our waitress continuously checked to see if we were ok which I liked. I liked Little Buddha and I am already contemplating when I can go for lunch to try their sushi.

Drinks were awesome! My date had 2 Long Island Iced Teas… he was tipsy. I had a pomegranate margarita. delicious! Just wish it came in a bigger glass. Ordered a Starburst, think they should add some grapefruit juice. Food is always great! I ordered the Play Boy without the fish eggs and 2. yes 2 orders of the Japanese steamed shrimp dumplings. Soooo Good! He had spicy shrimp roll, king crab roll and a half to go order of the Play Boy! We will definitely be back!

My best friend took me here for dinner tonight. We were seated immediately and our server Elsa was okay. We ordered a piña colada, which my friend(who is very easy to please) couldn’t drink, she literally said it tasted like vomit. *shudder* I tried the Mai Tai and Blue Monday, which were both decent. On to the food: Calamari salad: very good, crunchy and had fresh lettuce and fruit Snow crab and avocado salad: I thought it was small at first but as I ate it, it made sense given the pricey ingredient. It was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend. Crispy duck roll: basically a fried spring roll with duck. There was very like duck, i could barely taste or see it. The tamarind sauce was good. Chicken wraps: simple and tasty Yumi Yumi Roll: bigger serving than I expected. The shrimp tempura was crunchy and cooked well. Overall a solid choice. Naruto #4: basically a shrimp tempura roll with cucumber instead of rice. Very refreshing. Awesome option for the carb conscious. The food was pretty good overall. The drinks were hit or miss. Prices were reasonable for the appetizers, rolls and drinks. The bill was $ 89 for three drinks and all the food. Many of the entrees were $ 19+ FYI. A decent option for Asian fusion in Yonkers.
