Delivery time was quick and the service was friendly. The lamb gyro was very tasty. I ordered kopanisti to try something new and I thought it was gross – vinegary and oily and it leaked all over everything in the bag. Would definitely order again, and stick the basics.

Just tried this place for the first time and I am definitely becoming a regular! I have no idea if it’s authentic, I haven’t had much Greek food, but the flavor is AWESOME! Chicken was really moist but not at all greasy. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu!!!

I called for delivery which took an hour and 15 minutes! When I called to inquire, the C U Next Tuesday that answered the phone was very rude & nasty basically said aw well the delivery guy is out you just have to wait. I asked her to call to see where he was and she said no then proceeded to repeat what I said making me !!! The food arrived cold, soggy, coffee spilled everywhere. No utensils, condiments or napkins. NEVERAGAIN

Better the second time around. I ordered late one night the food came really dry– two gyro So went in the other day and decided to give this place another shot. The beef gyro special for 9 dollars. It came with a soda and a fries. The fries are ok, would have preferred a side salad instead but it’s ok. Nonetheless I walked in during lunch time, the service was good and fast and the seating area was clean. The food was way better and fresher. The meat wasn’t tough and the lettuce didn’t get soggy either so I was happy with that. I think with this place being new they kitchen is starting to pick up so I’m looking forward to going back for a quick bite.

Creamy & rich, the best. We were served by Teresa. Such a sweet girl, super professional, went above and beyond. Will def come back here for more tasty greek food.

The first time I ordered from this place, everything was perfect and delicious. Today was my second time ordering and I was disappointed. I was craving a Gyro so bad because I’m pregnant and all day I was just thinking about it. Well finally I placed the ordered for delivery… Long story short, I was so disappointed with the chicken gyro. It tasted old and the chicken was dry and hard. I thought it was just me but my son had half of it, he took two bites and immediately spit it out. So far it’s the only complaint I have. Their delivery was right on time.

Small neighborhood spot with a few tables. The front of the restaurant opens up in warmer months so that diners can dine semi al fresco, giving the restaurant the feel of a tiny European café. The girls behind the counter are friendly and the restaurant looks clean(from the counter you can see all the way into the kitchen — so there’s nothing to hide). Gyros are served shawarma/doner style, meaning thin cuts of meat are layered into a cone shape, roasted, and then thinly sliced. You won’t find a ground beef/lamb meatloaf type mixture here. Instead, expect something similar to chopped steak. The tzatziki sauce was good, nothing earth shatteringly different. I was more impressed with their pork souvlaki sandwich. Excellent charcoal grilled flavor, but not much else. Where was the garlic, the mint, pungent Greek oregano, and lemon? My biggest complaint is the French Fries, these are frozen fries coated in a starch solution to make them crispier. These type of fries have always tasted weird to me. But that’s just my preference. Next time I’ll try the lemon potatoes. This Greek Spot isn’t bad, and from other reviews I’ve read, it appears they’re getting better. I’d definitely give them a try. I’d like for them to be successful; the area needs a good Greek Spot!

TLDR: Very slow delivery. Lots of mistakes. Never order extras because they dont send them. Management doesnt care. Use to love this place a few months ago. We ordered pretty frequently, forgiving the increasing amount of mistakes in the order because it was really great. However, recently, between the mistakes, the now over hour long wait for delivery each time, and their inability to deal with customer complaints, we are forced not to order from here anymore. To order from here again would be to just invite disappointment and frustration. To add insult to injury when I voiced my complaints and said that I was considering not ordering the restaurant again, their response was«Thats Ok.»

Great Greek spot, no frills no fancy table cloths just good food. The rice was good but they do make this in a big batch and reheat in a microwave when you order. I love their fries and absolutely love the taziki sauce. Normally I wouldn’t care for it but definitely make sure you ask for it and they give it to you if you take ourt. They last time I ordered out they«forgot it»

A hidden jem in Yonkers. I love Greek food. I eat Greek food all over. This place is excellent!!! It was my first time here. Suggested to me by a Greek friend. And I definitely will be going back. I had the Avgolemono soup. Very very tasty. Just like Mom used to make. I then had the Feta and Oregano Fries that were out of this world. I had the Dolmadakia which was very delicious and covered in crumpled feta. They are not cheap with the feta that’s for sure. I then had the Pork Souvlaki which was very flavorful and big. My fiancé had the Lamb Kabob’s which were very tasty. Not too lamby. And came with delicious sides. Best of all, the owner came and spoke with us. Very friendly and genuine. I very much look forward to going back. If you like Greek food you really must come by The Greek Spot.

I wish I could say that I had an amazing dinner, wish I could of taken a picture and posted on here. I would of ordered two gyros(lamb and beef) a falafel sandwich, maybe the feta fries. But I called multiple times and at first someone picked up 2x and said«hold» and then it was dead silence. I hung up and tried again to call a few more times and it just kept ringing and ringing and ringing. So I ordered gryos from the Chipper across the street(cheaper anyways). Menu has been ripped up.

I ordered a few minutes ago, the spinach pie which is just ok and the lamb soulvaki. The lamb meat is so extremely tough I cannot chew it. $ 10 for basically a lamb gyro with no sides or drink, and completely inedible. Tried calling the restauarant and they hung up on me. Order at your own risk. I won’t ever order again. Ever. And I will make sure none of my friends or family do either.

Highly recommend the falafel sandwich for vegetarians, definitely worth the price and it’s yummy/filling. Five stars for the insanely amazing service we got that day. I believe it was the owner of the store taking care of us, he was so incredibly attentive, flexible and just a sweet guy! We will definitely be coming here again when we’re in the area.

Food was good. Just stopped by on my way home to grab some din for hubbs and me. We ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Platter, a Lamb Gyro and an order of Falafel. Everything was pretty decent. One thing I would change is the hot sauce. It was more salty than spicy and honestly, tastes like Frank’s Red Hot but I don’t really put that sh*t on everything so, I was disappointed with that. The gyro meat was a bit on the salty side but it tasted good. We opted for rice with the platter which was a little salty also but still good. The falafel were tasty, too, and they came with tzatziki and hummus. The extra pita they gave was warm and soft and all in all, it was a nice meal. I love Mediterranean cuisine because of its freshness and simplicity yet flavorful components so, this place is right up my alley. Added bonus? They deliver and the prices aren’t high. They’ll definitely be in the menu rotation

10÷22÷15 Update: I hate to do this but it is my duty to be honest. I’m dropping one star from my original review. I just ordered again and my lamb was very tough and full of crewy fat. My meal didn’t come with any white sauce. — — – I’m so happy that there’s a good Greek restaurant here now. This place is brand new though so they’re probably still working their kinks out. I’ve eaten here twice and the food is truly delicious. There is plenty of seating available if you decide to dine in. As far as negatives, I’ll mention my one issue now in hopes that they will improve upon it once they get a bit more settled. My issue is with staffing. I came in twice and there was a different cashier each time. Both of them looked confused & seemed unsure of what the prices were or what was included with each dish. The first time, I ordered & paid, then left to run an errand. When I came back to pick up my food, the cashier didn’t remember me & asked me to pay again. We had a little back-and-forth about it until he pulled out the receipt & saw that he wrote«Paid» on it. No big deal. The second time, I’m not sure but I think I was over-charged. I ordered a chicken gyro platter($ 13.50 on the menu) but asked to substitute Greek fries for the regular fries that it comes with. I ended up paying $ 18 for the platter. Even though I really enjoyed it, this makes me a little bit hesitant to order it again because $ 18 is very pricey for one plate. Other than that, I really really like this place. The food is delicious & everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They were even nice enough to throw in a free dessert with my first order when I spent $ 50. I wish them the best of luck & I will definitely be back.
