Love the variety of choices. Everything I’ve tried is good. The gyros are my fav. Make sure to substitute for Cajun fries. The Chipotle dipping sauce they give you is dank.

Not good… at all. I’ve always noticed Duke’s in Savi Ranch, but now I understand why it’s always empty. I pretty much only gave it a shot because there was nothing else around and I was pinched for time, but I shall never settle again! Not only do they have a smelly sewage problem that’s readily apparent from the minute you walk up to the restaurant, but their food isn’t good at all. Moreover, it’s pricey for what you get. I paid $ 10 for a burger, fries and a drink… and none of it was anything special. I would say the food is comparable to Denny’s or a chain fast food restaurant, which obviously isn’t a compliment. On top of that, they nickel and dime you for condiments, as they charged me $ 0.50 for ranch! Totally absurd. What a waste of a meal!

Stopped by here on a Saturday morning for some breakfast. Not overly crowded which was a huge plus. I came for breakfast but they have quite a large menu. They also have quality beer on tap. Is it to early for a Sculpin? I guess not… I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito and it came pretty quickly. The burrito was pretty hot when it arrived, so I know it was fresh. Not the absolute best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, but definitely in the top ten. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Just about the right size too, enough to fill you up without making you feel bloated and sleepy and the ingredients tasted fresh. Pretty nice place, clean, open early, and friendly staff. I’d recommend it to a friend.

Good place to go for lunch I always liked coming here the one star mark down is for their new chicken nuggets because their old ones were fantastic you could refrigerate them over night and then re heat them the next day and they were just as good! But still their new nuggets are ok. But not my favorite thing to get anymore. Their sandwiches are great! Burgers are excellent and The cookies are amazing! I recommend getting a cookie with a meal great taste!

Initially it was the«Café» part that compelled the first visit so I had high hopes! However, have to agree with other reviews that this is simply basic food presented as «diner food». Found the many menu items offered very similar to the greek fast food burger joint era, but seriously lacking the tasty flavorings that made those restaurants in their day so special. Although choices are many, the presentation does not seem to equal the quality, as my burger and fries looked yummy but after a few bites, found myself resenting the cost of the bland food I was forcing myself to eat because I was so hungry. Same with chicken gyro, fish sandwich, fish dinner etc. So stopped visiting… Decided to giv’em another try months later for breakfast. The cheese omelette tasted waxy and hashbrowns bland/server forgot to bring toast, 1 Belgium waffle cooked to a crisp/over easy eggs cold/couple strips of measly bacon slices even colder and all for the pleasure of throwing 20 $ down the drain. Kicker was, there were not even busy, 2 cooks standing around in back looking bored and 3 robot like servers going thru the motions. Sent the bacon back, was returned via microwave warmed, gagged upon first bite!!! What cook worth their salt would allow a tacky put together breakfast served to a customer? Of course we left there still hungry-what a waste!!! Sometimes when you are hungry and your choices are limited you’ll stop into the nearest restaurant and take your chances and with Dukes it’s simply a hit or miss fast food place with Café pricing. I care about what I put into my body so I get very annoyed when a food place misrepresents the quality of the food it serves for the prices it charges. A clean place and amiable staff unfortunately does not guarantee delicious made to order food compelling me to go back. Wouldn’t mind forking out the $$$ for a great tasting Café meal but forking out the $$$ for fast food disguised as a Café? Serves me right for leaving there still hungry.

Just had Dukes Café for a Sunday morning breakfast. The service was very good, the menu was extensive and the prices were fair and reasonable. The breakfast burrito was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was pleasant. They have several televisions throughout, playing news and pre game programs. I would definitely go back again and without a doubt highly recommended Dukes Café for a simple, tasty no frills breakfast.

The staff at Duke’s café were friendly and courteous. The food has been great the last 2 times we’ve come for breakfast. The sausage breakfast sandwich was fantastic! We just pulled through the drive-thru and I couldn’t wait any longer, so I pulled into the parking lot to try it… SOGOOD! Thank you so much to the team at Duke’s. We will definitely be coming back here again :)

It has the feel of a hole in the wall place mixed with a mom and pop restaurant. This hidden jewel in the heart of Yorba Linda is one of our favorite places to eat. The food tastes freshly made and they keep adding new item to the menu. This is the only restaurant my girlfriend will get her chicken tortilla soup; it’s that good. Everything comes in generous portions and the staff is always friendly. If you’re looking for a place that serves you great food at a price that won’t kill you wallet look no further than dukes café

I frequent Dukes somewhat regularly. This past Sunday I ordered the regular Egg Burrito. This is the only item I get here, and it’s a great value. About ¾ of the way in and I chew on some meat. I have dietary restrictions and don’t eat meat. So this became unacceptable for me, especially since I spent money in this situation. This hasn’t happened before, but similarly to if I were eating in a restaurant and ordered a salad with no walnuts and walnuts came with the salad I would send it back or be comped, the same should apply here.

I came here because I had to pick up a turkey trot runners packet for a run I signed up for so I decided to try this place since I was here. Let me first say that even though the place was crowded and alive, my meal on the other hand wash not so great. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were way over cooked and the chicken in the sandwich was too well done and really dry… Most likely I will not be returning, unless some can convince me that something on the menu is worth going back to try.

This is basic fast food presented as «diner food». There is no real difference between this and the thousand other counter service«whatever you want» places(think«Tom’s»). I had a burger which I didn’t want to finish — overly salty poor meat with tired toppings slopped on. Fries are the same frozen Cisco products you get anywhere. My wife had the potato bar. Neat idea and somewhat decent. Our daughter had chicken fingers — again same old thing. If you are seeking bland food you get anywhere in a somewhat decent environment with pleasant service then give Duke’s a try. I won’t be back.

YOOOO! Why did I sleep on Duke’s for so long?! This place is great! My new go-to when I want some cheat-day food. This spot is much better than the similar restaurants within this YL/ANA area(think Fantasy Burger, Tom’s Place, Farmer Boys…) I say that because of the food quality, the service, the cleanliness, and the pace at which the staff works. PLUSBREAKFASTALLDAYBABY! I have tried a few things on the menu, but the all stars are the monte cristo sandwich, the mozzarella sticks(good on their own, but once dipped in the marinara sauce OHMYGAWWWDDD), and the freakin’ peanut butter cookies. Major shouts to the owner, I’m gonna call him Duke, for being present at the café all the time and for being genuine and friendly to his customers! I only wish you were open later for my cookie cravings!

I work in the area and come in to Duke’s for breakfast occasionally. They are a small diner with delicious food. They have very friendly staff, particularly Lea. I usually order the avocado and bacon omelet which comes with hash browns and toast. I am really sad about the hash browns because they are very bland. No salt and usually overcooked. I really look forward to my hash browns when I eat breakfast and have been disappointed by them the last few times I have gone. I plan on trying something new next time I go just to change it up and also avoid being let down. Other then the hash browns, I have enjoyed everything else. Something interesting that I have not tried, but really want to, is their wine. The have a Duke’s Café wine, red and white, and I really want to try some but I can’t while I am working.

Went to Duke’s for breakfast. The service was ok and the food was good. If they are busy it is hard to get a table. A few tables were not clean and that made it hard for people to find a place to sit. we finally did and enjoyed the food.

We were craving breakfast burritos and decided Duke’s would be the place to satisfy that craving. We went on a Friday morning and it was pretty empty, except for some other coworkers who had the same idea as we did. The one thing I immediately noticed was how clean it was. I mean for a hamburger stand that’s not part of a chain it was exceptionally clean and organized. I also noticed they have beer and wine. Of course the wine isn’t your finest Francis Coppola or anything but the beer list was decent. The service was helpful and our burritos came out pretty fast. I wasn’t that thrilled about the burrito. It’s a huge burrito so if you’re hungry it’ll keep you full. In fact, I only ate half because I didn’t need an early morning food coma. My issue was that I wish the potatoes were more crunchy. They were kinda mushy and it almost kinda blended in with the eggs so I was eating it and thought, «Aren’t there supposed to be potatoes in here?» Then I realized they were just mushy. The salsa was pico de gallo so I was pissed I didn’t get hot sauce or hot salsa. It was weird eating a breakfast burrito with huge chunks of tomato and onion. It was a good burrito. I was just expecting something else. I want to try other stuff on their menu but it’s definitely cheat day food.

OVERCOOKEDMEAT! We really wanted to like Dukes because the staff are very nice and friendly, but in reality, the food we had wasn’t good at all(except for french fries and zucchini fries ^_^) We had… –SOUTHWESTERNCHICKENSALAD $ 10 — I appreciated the big portion, but they cooked the heck out of my chicken. The thinly sliced, grilled chicken breast was very tough and hard to chew O_o. Dousing in dressing didn’t help at all. So sad. But I did enjoy the greens, dressing and other fixings. –CALIFORNIANBURGER $ 7 — It’s an all beef burger with crispy bacon, avocado slices on a sesame seed bun. Again, we appreciated the big portion, but the texture of the meat was tough and rubbery. Too bad because it was well seasoned. El Hubby said, Jack in the Box burgers are way better O_o. –ZUCCHINIFRIES $ 4– Thank goodness, it was amazing! I love the thin cut zucchini. It might have been frozen, but it was still good. Well seasoned, very crispy and went very well with ranch dipping sauce. I’d get it again! –FRENCHFRIES $ 3– Unlike other Unilocalers, our french fries was fresh right out of the fryer, so it was hot, salty and delicious! They have other salads, breakfast and some Greek food in the menu that I would like to try next time. But next time is not anytime soon O_o.
