Always love eating chicken and veggies and their soup and bread is really good! If you don’t like regular noodles you can also opt for rice noodles or just rice.

I come here pretty often and I love the food. The food is good quality and the chef cooks it right every time. Customer service is pretty good and always happy when I come to this place.

Best thing about this place was the Customer service– the small bowls and frozen portions didn’t allow for much food or adding flavor. They instruct you to add flavor. But it will equal 40% of you bowl. Haha. Yeah. Waste of $$$. If you’re on a diet and score — maybe. If you have an Asian date or wife — prepare to feel ripped off.

This place has gone downhill. I frequented this place often, starting about 2 years ago, because the staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. Then I noticed about 2 – 3 months ago it tasted different than usual. Then I came about a week ago and added triple the amount of sauces than I normally do and it was still bland. It basically tastes like you’re eating noodles out of water with no flavoring at all. I don’t recommend this place at all anymore. If you are looking for a good Mongolian barbecue type of place, go to Genghis con inside of Brea Mall. Your taste buds will appreciate my advice.

We got there at 8:40, the meat was melting and almost gone, no mushrooms and veggies were in a bit messy. There was 1 cook and 5 people in line so it took 10 minute to get the food cooked. There were 4 in my party besides the 5 that were ahead of us. We sat down, service was good, we got drinks. It’s falls a part after that! Was enjoying my company and not in any hurry! I didn’t think I had to be! I asked our server for another bowl and he says«sorry, the bar is closed, the grill is shut down. We close at 9 and it’s 9:07». No last call, nothing! Cost $ 15 each for all you can eat and I left hungry. I don’t eat grains, no noodles, no rice, no bread, so when you cook all veggies and meat, it really shrinks up, the bowls are small and I bet I would have gone up at least 3 times. With sushi or buffets, someone always call last call, so I didn’t even think I had to be in hurry! I’m still irritated and I wish I would have said something to him!

It’s been a long time since I visited this restaurant(years). I don’t recall dinner buffet. Maybe I came during lunch or something. No mushrooms, no water chestnuts, no tofu, low sauces, low on noodles. It’s dinner time and the food bar is so low on so many items. Unbelievable. Next came the check. We only got our one bowl. We told waiter we have no intention of going back for 2nds. She said we had no choice but to still pay the buffet price. She even started to argue with me and accused me of complaining the whole time I was there(b/c i requested tofu, water chestnuts and mushrooms) when I asked if there was an option for just single bowl(~9)(I should’ve got the food to go). I Told her I’m never coming back and posting a negative review. Server said go ahead. customer service lacking. I would give the place zero stars if I could. I did not see a price posted on the wall anywhere and the server assumed I knew about the buffet price… just bc I was being friendly by saying it’s been awhile since I’ve been here”. — Feeling ripped off paying for 2 dinner buffets while only eating only 1 bowl ea. Dinner buffet is $ 14.95. You are paying 14.95 for mediocre food. Calling it mediocre b/c they did a horrible job of keeping the food separated and filled and I still needed to add soy sauce to my meal — yes I used the recommended ladles of sauce.(I think the cook added too much water during cooking) genesis khan at the brea mall is way better. Epic’s receipt says check in on Unilocal and you get $ 5 off. Well here I am on Unilocal posting negative review in front of waitress and she refuses to give me the discount because of the 1 star review. So I had to start talking out loud about the bad service to the other patrons. Person impersonating a REAL server(rude server) comes back with my change and says she gave me $ 5 off. *I was only loud to the server only after she was rude to me.

This place started off great but then they changed owners. The moment they were bought out the good stuff on the menu moved to the additional charge menu and the bacon fried rice(the number one reason for going there) went downhill big-time. So with the quality of food going down, the price is going up, and the service staying in mediocre at best I don’t know if it’s worth it.

Probably one of the best Mongolian BBQs in Orange County. Lots of open seating. Sometimes service can be a little lacking, but you just gotta holler at them and they are always really nice.

Food was great, service was even better. Only reason I am not 100% satisfied is due to they’re pricing. Was not expecting to pay $ 12 for a plate that is smaller then most

Was craving noodles while I was in the Yorba Linda area and was so happy find this place for lunch! The veggie selection was great and loved how fresh and non-greasy their noodles were! Although a bit pricier than I would like, I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Awful service. Every one who was working closing tonight should be let go. Unilocal & google state that the restaurant closes at 10p, we arrived at 9:40p to try to get something to go and the doors were locked. We could see them cleaning up and staff rudely said closed & rolled eyes. I tried to notify employees through the door that online it states they close at 10p & they should update but a young man rudely said whatever bye bye now. They were all laughing & saying go away. By far the rudest employees. Drove down imperial to urban plates that close at the same time & walked in 6 minutes before they close & they invited us in. We offered to take our food to go but they insisted we stay and eat there. I dont think I’ll ever go back to epic noodle I have never been so disrespected by restaurant employees.

I’ve been here many times but not to be considered a regular and everytime I’ve received spectacular customer service from the service staff and cooks. This place is great and an amazing deal for the amount of food you get. Definitely a must for a post-workout meal.

It was an okay experience. Staff was friendly. Just felt the food offerings were a bit old and the ingredient line was somewhat of a mess.

My husband and I arrive at 8 an hour before closing, the chairs have been put up and sauces taken off tables, did closing time change and they haven’t changed the posted time? We make a small bowl and the wok guy makes my plate and then makes my husbands plate. While we wait a young lady comes and takes all the utensils out of the buffet. We go up for a second helping and have to use the same tongs in the 4 different meats, the same tongs for the veggies and one scoop for all the different sauces(cross contamination much). While enjoying our meal and I still have at least a quarter of my plate left; the server has brings us our check. He then comes to the table, while my husband has stepped away, with the IPad proceeds to swipe my husbands card and as I am putting a bite of food in my mouth asks me to sign for the bill. While I am signing, he takes the basket with the last piece of naan bread in it and my napkin sitting on the table away. I guess I don’t need/want either of these to finish my plate. The food is good but can they take credit if you are making your bowl and seasoning it? This was my husband and my second time here with similar stories both times, I doubt if we will be back.

Buffet? What kind of buffet only allows you to have one bowl per serving? I’ve been to many Mongolian bbq places where you can have separate bowls for your meat and veggies. You need to get permission for a second bowl. Progress report: needs improvement. We shouldn’t have to ask to go get another serving. We went in the early evening and they were already running out of chicken. Serve real Mongolian bread instead of a flour tortilla. All the tables were still dirty even though there were not a lot of people in the dining area.

Hard to believe this place is still in business. I drenched mine in sauce and they still had no taste. Bowl is so shallow and my greedy butt tried to shove in noodles but all fell off. The place is Brea mall is alot better, tastier and dont have to deal with shallow bowls as they separately give extra noodles. For $ 11.50, I expected more… Ironically there were two soccer moms next to me just dropping all the food as well… Hey owner, maybe customers waste more food dropping them on floor than actually eating.

Really really delicious food! It’s a very simple self serve Mongolian grill. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a very plentiful assortment of sauces, from sweet to fire to epic sauce, they have it all. The only reason why they don’t get 5 stars is because the food is very pricy($ 13 for the tiniest bowl imaginable), and they don’t have a very vast assortment of vegetables :(I’m a vegan, so vegetables are like my favorite things in the world, and therefore the lack of tofu and mushrooms is extremely disappointing!
