This is my favorite place in York to get breakfast, and sometimes to stop for lunch too. I’ve never had a bad experience with the food. Most of the times the service is great. I really enjoy eating at this place.

Waited nearly 15 minutes to be seated. Asked for manager, manager never came by so we left. Terrible service. This was on a Monday night with lots of empty tables and no one in front of our party. Party behind us left before we did as they didn’t even get asked how many people in party

This place was pretty horrible, even for a chain. We waited forever for a waitress, then when we received our coffee, the coffee cups were gross… sticky and gritty. Husband’s pot roast was fine, son’s farmer’s choice was less than ok… one of the pancakes was burned and the hash browns were burned and his«over medium» fried eggs were completely underdone… runny. The hash browns also tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. Mine was the worst meal of the three. I had the border scramble. The eggs were overdone… as in brown. There was only a tablesspoon of meat topping.(There was more sour cream on it than the meat/tomato topping) Worst of all, the fried potatoes were burned. Actually black. They also tasted of rancid oil. Inedible. And the manager helped serve this meal. As a manager, I would have been embarrassed. When the waitress asked if everything was ok, we complained about the potatoes since they were actually black. Her response? Oh, I’m sorry. That was it. Will never eat here again.

Love the Sunshine Breakfast! It a scrambled egg platter with hash browns, sausage and country gravy. I get it with sausage gravy on top instead of the country gravy and it’s heaven. You better be hungry.

Some BE’s aren’t worth a rating, but this particular location is fairly new. It’s always clean and we hope it stays that way! We normally sit in a booth, but today being FD’s it was particularly busy so we decided to sit at the bar. We were the only ones sitting at the bar(for the moment) and noted right away the woman in charge(Manager? not sure), was«barking» orders at the cooks. I think she realized we were sitting within ear shot and quickly toned it down ~ which we were pleased about. Honestly, you can get more productivity out of your employees if you treat them with the same respect you yourself expect. We only eat breakfast at BE’s and were not disappointed today. Everything from the coffee to the banana nut bread was spot on. Had this woman been kinder to her staff, I would give it a 5 star.

Restaurant was clean but needs to be updated badly. The hostess could not have been more pleasant or friendly, the food was great. My wife and I got breakfast in the middle of the afternoon and we were glad we did. I got pot roast hash and two eggs, man was that hash great! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bed of hash browns that the hash and eggs were on were red bliss potatoes and that tells me that they care about quality. Very very good.

Went here for breakfast and the food was adequate, nothing exceptional. Not terrible, but very average. The hashbrowns were not crispy, but soggy and barely browned. The price of the breakfast was very high in our opinion for the quality. Probably won’t go there much. Nice staff, clean restaurant.

We decided to come to Bob Evans after a while without being here and were glad we came. the wait was normal for a busy Sunday and while we were being seated a man was talking to our baby making him smile and then guessed his age almost on the dot. I was given a handshake which never happens usually before sitting down. The food was ordered and our order was taken in a non rushed way. The food on the other hand was out in minutes, very fast! The only thing about that was the eggs were slightly undercooked and the crêpe seemed like it could have used a minute or two also. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the meat was tasty too. I think the french toast could have been better but all in all a decent breakfast. I was satisfied with the level of service and the food was very good for the most part I noticed they have some dinner deals too which look appetizing.

never having been to a bob evans, I had to check it out for its breakfast, and I was sold! the place is really nice and clean… now I can see why so many families go here for special occasions or for sundays after church. the breakfast potatoes are lightly seasoned and so so yummy! the wait staff is on the money… and the dinner menu looks superb with a variety of salads… I will have to return for a salad fix another day! this would not be my first choice for breakfast, as there are less expensive places to go… but for the ambience and for that after church *squeekie clean feeling*, I would definitely come back w/family and friends, and partake in some of their delectable pie! Yum!(btw, the salad menu looks quite reasonably priced!)
