Great place if you want to hang out somewhere busy and don’t mind the dive atmosphere! It’s mostly college students. GREAT deals every night! Only down side is that it’s really smokey.

Good hole-​in-​the-​wall sports bar with a mix of college students and old bar flies. Great spot for football games. Cheap deals on food and beer everyday. Cheeseburgers are actually pretty good. I’ll be back…

yayyy murph’s! I’m a huge fan! The owners are all super nice and cool… they go out of their way for their customers! One time the wifi wasn’t working and they spent like 10 minutes trying to fix it for me! Most places usually just say it isn’t working and don’t even attempt to try and fix it. The owner even sent a guy over to my table to look at my computer to make sure it wasn’t just my computer not working instead of their wifi… above and beyond!!!
Also, they have a WIDE variety of beers that isn’t typical or expected of the usual college bar… impressive to say the least… are you sure I haven’t just stepped into a beer officinato’s (sp?) dream? lol
They have awesome specials… Monday I know it’s $ 1 for grilled cheese and $ 1 for tomato soup. Wednesdays it’s $ 5 for a yeungling pitcher and $ 4 – 6 for all you can eat buffalo wings. soooo amazing. And the drink prices are all really cheap. ($ 6 – 7 for a shot of patron!?! yes please!
I usually sit in here on my laptop and do homework and drink beer and they are totally fine and friendly with it. Thanks guys for being so cool!

I haven’t been here in over 8 yrs, but while i was a student at York College i loved this place. Used to have 15 cent wings on Wednesday night. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone but a college student because that is the entire crowd.. Had many fun nights here when I was young. Would def go back if i was in the area

The weekend bar for YCP students, to be honest mostly because it’s the closest rather than the best. Cheap drinks, nice bartenders, good specials. Front bar is good for sitting around with a few friends and talking while the back bar is for dancing.
Biggest downfall– Still allows SMOKING! Be prepared to set aside clothing you don’t want to wear anywhere else outside the bar, because leaving Murph’s you smell like a smokestack.
Best quality– You come to know everyone there on Saturday nights (And Wednesday’s for 50 cent drafts, which if rumor is correct is now 75 cent drafts. Shame)

Pretty cool dive for young people. The crowd is 90% college kids, so it’s a good place for drinking and some dancing. The dance floor usually has enough people to be fun by about midnight. Cheap drinks. It’s not the classiest place, but sometimes you just want to chill.

I agree that the place is a little run down, but that’s what makes a dive a dive. It’s also a perfect little watering hole for anyone on a budget. The last time I was in town I went with my sister. $ 17 total for 7 drinks. How awesome is THAT?

Your typical college bar located only steps away from York College. Nothing special here. Dance nights and they have pool tables. Wings are decent. Place is scuzzy and needs a face lift.
