I’ve gone to STUFD multiple times… Having faith that the food would taste better on my next visit… Well that’s not the case, my food never got better, only worse. Their food is basically dog food, expect the type of dog food that your dog refuses to eat.

Pretty good food. The California burrito is the bomb, it’s the way to go. Their queso is pretty decent too. A regular burrito is a big size in my opinion and very filling but if you’re a big eater, there is just no way the stufd version will not satisfy you.

It would take my grandmother 3 days, followed up by a 24 hour rear axle blowout, to finish one of these burritos. Check out chelas in Ann Arbor instead.

I just had the Cali Burrito and it was damn good. They’re in a great location right by the EMU campus. Their prices are good and the service is good and rather fast.

Good food at a very reasonable price. I would sometimes like to eat there but don’t because of all the files within the restaurant.

So good! I have been a BTB loyalist for a decade. Now I have Stufd as a local alternative. The burritos taste fresh and delicious… Seasoned beans and meat, perfectly made spicy goodness. I have been here twice now, different times of the day and I am super impressed with their consistency. I will continue to support Stufd, so glad Ypsi has a burrito spot.

Definitely recommend this place! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, but my favorite is the Grilled Chicken Chimichanga. Everything is well portioned out and tastes, smells, looks delicious! It is definitely a filler, especially if you get the Stufd version!

I’m not a picky eater when it comes to Mexican(or «Mexican») food; if you are, you might want to consult some of the more discriminating or easily disappointed reviewers. The burrito I got tasted good, and was suitably large, filling, and easy on the wallet. I was also pleased with the large nachos and large salsa, for two dollars each. The salsa was nice and chunky although rather bland, but two hot sauces, red and green, were on the table. Too often elsewhere I’ve gotten a tiny little paper cup of salsa, about the size of a quarter, and when you want more they charge another dollar or whatever for another tiny little paper cup. Here, for once, there was enough to go with the chips. The presence of a foosball table suggests someone’s idea that this could be a hangout. Not likely. But I’ll definitely be back for the food.

Went to STUFD again more recently. I got steak tacos and shredded beef nachos. Unfortunately, both disappointed me quite a bit, so I’m knocking my rating down from 4 to 3 stars. My steak tacos were bland, and I tasted mostly beans and rice. Even when I did get chunks of steak, they were dry and lacked any memorable flavor. There was so little cheese on my tacos that, until i dug around and found a small bit at the bottom of the tortillas, I thought their tacos didn’t come with cheese. The nachos were ok. The queso was bland. The shredded beef actually has a hint of sweetness that I didn’t care for. Was that a pinch of cinnamon or something that I tasted in it? I could be wrong, but I swear that’s what I tasted. My first trip to STUFD was good, and I gave it 4 stars. I spent $ 12 this most recent visit, and I really wish I had taken my $ 12 elsewhere. It’s not that the food was bad, it was just really really OK. And I don’t like spending $ 12 on food to which my reaction is «…meh. Should’ve gotten taco bell,» so this last visit was more of a 2-star experience. As such, I’m averaging my two visits and changing my rating to 3 stars.

Definitely recommend getting your burrito stuffed if you haven’t tried it before. For how much food you get pricing is above average & service is great. I would highly recommend eating here if you’re in the mood for some Mexican cuisine…

The food is pretty good considering the inexpensive price and you also get a nice serving size. The regular size is pretty large and the stuffed size is a real large serving. You can eat there but it seems more geared for takeout though there is plenty of space inside just no table service.

My fiancé was told to come here for extra credit in one of her classes, we didn’t have high expectations because the other places she was told to go to weren’t that great. This was the exception. Stufd is really good, they have reasonable prices for the amount of food you get, and offer daily specials, which are usually pretty darn good. One day they had a «Country Breakfast» burrito which was amazing I ordered the stufd size which is basically 2 burritos for about the price of 1 ½. Very worth the price, basically 2 meals. We go back here quite regularly now because it is really good and fairly close to where we live.

Not bad! Satisfying enough. The meat was marinated in a sauce I could do without(maybe chipotle based), but overall good. $ 15 for one regular and one«stuf’d», huge size with some add ons, i.e. Lettuce, salsa, jalepeño, sour cream, etc.

Really enjoyed my late night tacos at Stufd! The shredded chicken is very flavorful and I couldn’t get enough of the queso dip and guacamole. To top it off, the prices were great and we had excellent service. Ypsilanti had been missing a burrito/taco joint and I definitely plan to make a stop on my next visit back in town.

Quality ingredients stick out to me the most. Really make for delicious entrees. As a vegetarian, they also have a vegetarian option for each dish too, which impresses me. Friendly staff. All-around excellent experience.

Wasn’t as bad as we were expecting based on the reviews. Pretty straightforward. We would recommend the option to get cilantro, onions, and lime also. From a user experience perspective the«Stufd»(large) burritos should be cut in half(see our ridiculous picture we uploaded). The menu could also be simplified to just show ingredients and formats, instead of listing the same ingredients under five different formats.

I decided to try this place out one late night simply because it was the only alternative to Jimmy Johns at 2AM. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but the interior made me think I would get an experience similar to Chipotle or Qdoba. The prices seemed similar and the choices were pretty much the same, so the comparison had to be made. I got the stufd sized grilled chicken nachos. The size was simply outrageous, which was exactly what I wanted! I was excited until I opened the take-out box. Now, I know this may be nitpicky, but the presentation just made the nachos look like a blob of lettuce, tomato, chips and beans with a splash of sour cream. I know, it’s nachos, but seriously, it did not look inviting at all; I could make a prettier platter of nachos at home. Nonetheless, I was still excited to actually taste it. The first few bites left me underwhelmed. The chips were really good, but all of the ingredients didn’t taste all that fresh and there didn’t seem to be any one particular flavor to jump out at me. They claim there’s queso included, but I didn’t taste any. There was honestly maybe two tablespoons of grilled chicken. Most of the dish consisted of the pinto beans(which is probably the cheapest ingredient), and everything tasted bland and most likely from a can. I did manage to finish(I’m not letting 9 bucks go to waste), but towards the end of the nachos everything got SUPER salty and barely edible. Service was excellent and the employees seem happy to work there, so it’s really disappointing that their food is so bland. I’ll commend them for sprucing up the old building on W. Cross that just can’t seem to keep business, but if they want to remain successful they’ll definitely need to renovate their flavors and food presentation. Kinda wish Chipotle would have plopped themselves there instead though…

Not quite what I was hoping for. I got a burrito with shredded beef and a side of queso. The queso was very bland. It’s full of salsa, but there’s no heat to it. It doesn’t really even have much of a cheese flavor. The burrito had a very overwhelming cilantro/soap taste to it. The shredded beef was pretty bland as well. The tortilla was pretty good, as well as the chips, but that doesn’t really carry a burrito joint. I’m hoping that they improve, because I’d really like to have a decent cheap burrito place nearby.

Great food, better price. Everything is great, especially the burritos and chimichangas. Just as good as qdoba or chipotle, but less expensive. The food is great, best burrito place in ypsi. I especially like the stufd option which lets you double the size of your burrito, quesadilla, or nachos. It is simply huge

I haven’t actually been inside this place, so I am just rating this purely off the food. My boyfriend bought home burritos from Stufd for dinner one of the first nights it opened. We both love burritos, and anything that’s some what mexican food related. Also, how can one mess up a burrito! The burrito wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. It was extremely underwhelming, and very bland. The boyfriend said that they only had one bean option(pinto), and he asked for hot salsa but there was no heat in my burrito and only small chucks of tomato(pico de gallo?). I couldn’t really taste anything besides the pinto beans(which were really mushy and bland). The portion of ingredients inside were not balanced well. I will give it another try in the future. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that since it’s a new place they are still working out their recipes. Honestly, I think Chipotle and Qdoba are much better.
