I LOVE this place! Kessie Michell did amazing cutting my 3 ½ year old daughters hair. My daughter had a wonderful experience with her. Can’t wait to take my son to get his first hair cut with her. I will definitely continue going to Kessie Michell.

I’m giving this place 2 stars based solely on customer service. The actual work done on my hair was horrible and then my second time around was just as bad. The stylist was nice enough to give me a refund so that alone was nice but all I can say is please do your research and find the stylist who fits your needs and will be able to achieve the look you want, otherwise don’t go based on someone’s word.

I’m new to the area and have found lots to like here but this salon is easily one of my favorite places to visit!
I appreciate that it’s in a convenient location south of most of Yuba City’s hustle and bustle so there’s none of that headache involved. The shop is super cute and welcoming with a cozy lounge to relax in before your appointment.
Crissy has worked multi-​color magic on my head a couple times already and I can’t wait to go back to see what her imagination and palette have in store next. She’s very knowledgeable, friendly, and down right enjoyable to spend a couple hours with! After giving me a gentle reprimand for cutting my own bangs (whoops!), Crissy let me know that she offers her clients complimentary bang trims to prevent DIY disasters between appointments. Life saver!
The other stylists I’ve met in the salon have been equally friendly and the colors/​cuts coming out of their booths look amazing as well.
I love the services I’ve received at this salon but more than a GREAT cut and color, the hospitality from the stylists really cements this place for me as a 5 star business. (Jerks can do good hair too but wouldn’t you rather have a fun time while you’re at it?)
