I purchased my new Mazda 6 a couple of weeks ago. It was a great experience. Aman and Bill Magnotta where extremely professional, helpful and a pleasure to do business with. I have Mazda dealerships closer to home but am so glad I went to Wheeler Auto Center. It was worth the trip and I recommend it to anyone looking for Chevy, Mazda or Cadillac.

Just trade-​in and purchased my fourth Mazda from Wheeler and this transaction was my best experience yet. Austin Duenas was extremely helpful and walked me through every step of the process. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back when it is time for my next car purchase.

Brought my Chevrolet in for an oil change because apparently my car takes a certain GM oil. The guy that helped me Brent was real courteous and informed me my vehicle has a few recalls and they would be able to get me a ride home til they were done. Not long later I was called and told they were picking me up and my car was done along with a courtesy wash and vacuum and ready to roll! I’ve always heard about dealerships being the enemy but after not being overwhelmed with extra stuff my car needs, I plan on returning for more oil changes and maybe needed work when it comes along. Definitely a humble place. Will recommend to other Chevy owners.

Great experience! Very professional… not your typical sleezy car dealership. Austin helped us buy our 2011 Cadillac CTS… he made it pretty painless. Will definitely be back in the future.

Got a great deal on my 2015 Chevy Silverado crew cab LT 4×4 here. They gave it to me for $ 10k under msrp. What a deal. They had a few on sale but the specific truck with the exterior and interior colors I wanted wasn’t on sale. The salesman, TC, said he would speak with the manager when he got back and would Lmk ASAP, which he did. The manager then agreed on the price I was wanting. Probably best deals around.

This place is amazing! If you are looking to get a new car these are the people you want to go to. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful especially Carlos and Chevy Santana. This father and son duo helped me get a new car when I didn’t think I would be able to! They are extremely knowledgable and helped me get into a new car that I absolutely love. This place deserves ten stars!

This review only pertains to the service department:
I held back for a few months now on writing a review thinking maybe it was a bad day or new people the first few times I went here. I’m also not one for writing bad reviews unless I feel sufficiently justified but now I’m sure it’s just the way they operate, because they allow it to happen time and time again.
This place is ok at best. My family brings their vehicles here, and a few have also purchased vehicles here. I never had a problem bringing in my companies fleet vehicle for an oil change while it was covered under the maintenance warranty aside from them never calling to say it’s ready, more on that later. But that has all changed now. I’ve gotten grief the last few times from a very rude female in the service department. She called me the last time to complain that the oil change, which was already approved and requested by our fleet manager, was not needed and we had only gone 1,000 miles. This was after it had been in there 6 hours, I was the first one to pull in when they opened the roll up door that morning. I explained to her that the fleet managers policy requires us to do oil change intervals by hours and not miles as we sit idle for long periods of time throughout the day and night (we are a 24 hour a day operation). She proceeded to tell me we shouldn’t be changing the oil so often and that the oil changes are more frequent than needed. I again told her that this was my fleet managers policy and that I was sorry. I asked if there was a problem getting approval and she stated «no». I’m not sure why she decided to call me and lecture me after I talked to them over an hour before that and they said everything was approved and they were starting the oil change soon. I took the vehicle in for an oil change again today and I heard her as soon as they opened the roll up door and she saw the vehicle, starting in about 1,000 mile oil changes and being sure to talk so even I could hear her while driving up. I understand it may be inconvenient that we bring the vehicle in so often, even though we are paying customers. At the same time, we are paying for a service to be performed and I have made her aware of the reasons that we come in so often. Everyone else I’ve dealt with, whether they agreed with how often we come in or not, has been completely professional aside from her. If they don’t like it they at least have the customer service skills to not talk about it in front of the customer. No one else has questioned this or made comments about it after I have explained the reasons why to them. She is persistently lacking in the customer service department which has made my visits unpleasant at this point and I honestly dread taking the vehicle in for service. If I get approval to take the vehicle elsewhere I will be sure to do so. As for my family and friends I will have to recommend they stay clear of here until she has some retraining of some sort to deal with her customer service deficiencies.
My other problem is also with the service department. Wait times. I have always had the vehicle there at or before 730AM and I am usually one of the first people in the door. I drop the vehicle off and I wait for their call. The past 4 times I have done this they have not called me to tell me the vehicle is ready. I usually wait until at least 11AM to call and ask about it but today I waited until 10 minutes after 1PM. 3 of these times, including today, my vehicle is miraculously ready right when I call. The other time was when my previous complaint started. 2 of these visits were when the oil change was covered under the warranty so there was no waiting for approval from fleet. The other two I told them both times if you call the fleet manager he will approve it instantly and give you the CC information. He never received a call. I’m not sure if it’s out of spite for the frequency in which we visit and pay for service or if they are actually just that forgetful. The first two times I thought could have been a mistake so I didn’t dwell on it to much. At this point it’s just a huge inconvenience and disappointing to say the least. I’m sure they could care less and aren’t concerned about it. Maybe their sales team makes up for the lack of customer service in the other department. Or maybe this is just the price of doing business at this dealership.

Shout out to Austin for working out an unbeatable deal for me over the phone and email. I went through plenty of dealerships in the Sac and Bay Area. One dealership even told me that Wheeler must be lying to me or quoting me the wrong trim or year because there was no way anyone would give me that deal. Lo and behold, Austin made it work and Wheeler honored the deal we agreed to over the email when we got to the dealership.
Justin became our sales guy when we got to the dealership because Austin was busy with other customers. While we were waiting for the finance guy to get to us, Justin kept me company and thoroughly went through the infotainment system (while my wingman got hungry and left to get food.) Justin definitely felt more like a friend than a sales guy.
By the time we got to Joel in finance, there was less than an hour left before closing. Someone, through the paperwork process, messed up some words/​numbers and Joel took ownership of their mistake, apologized, and made up for it. That’s what i call a team! I even got an incentive as an apology for a mistake that I did not even think was a big deal to begin with.
Overall, great car buying experience for a first time car buyer. I have great credit and did a ton of research so i knew what a good deal was when i saw it. The first two Mazda dealerships i went to tried to rip me off with a high APR or didn’t respect me; probably because I am a young, Asian woman. Glad i spent my money at this family owned dealership rather than those automalls.
Thanks for the honesty Wheeler! Letting me walk in and out with respect and dignity was all i wanted, a good deal was a plus.

Was trying to work out a deal on TWO trucks, which I was ready to buy right then and there. Unfortunately, the sales person assisting me (forgot to get his name) seems to think I was insulting him somehow, and didn’t even talk numbers with me. Told me to «come back when it makes sense». Completely disrespectful.
As a customer, I feel that the dealer should offer ME an incentive to want to buy a vehicle from them, rather than from a different dealer. But apparently, Wheeler feels that the customer needs to provide them an incentive to sell you a vehicle.

Kudos, shoutout to Austin! If you’re looking to shop around and you’re curious about Mazda (or Chevy Cadillac), checkout the Wheeler Auto Center in Yuba City. Ask for Austin, this guy goes above and beyond to get you not only what you need but what you want! He’s patient and informative, he’s got great character, and values your time and opinions.
I was desperate to find a car in 48hrs. Dealership after dealership, it was a loooong day. We were going back and forth between 2 different dealerships. We hit a small bump in the road with one of the other financial employees, but Austin kept it cool and assured me he had our backs. We went home and slept on it, and we ended up coming back for Austin and the awesome affordable 2015 Mazda CX-​5. He made sure the features I really wanted were included and he did his best to get me a great deal for trade in.
I couldn’t have been happier in the end. When we came back Sunday to sign the papers, we felt like VIP. Austin, the manager of Wheeler, and Beth from finance were above excellent! They appreciated us coming back for the business, and boy did I feel the appreciation. I toooo appreciate all I’ve received from Wheeler. It’s been a week with my car and I’m totally enjoying it! I had to test drove the Mazda 6 2015 Sedan. Man what a ferocious looking car. Next time maybe, I’ll own this by fall of 2015 when newer models releases for 2016 and the 2015 gets on discount sale. LOL!
Anyways… Back to car window shopping slash window shopping, helps me eases my boredom when I got nothing to do but test drive random newer cars. Namm sayinn… Sucks sometimes, you have to wait for the sales person to test drive though. They’re understaffed. Food for thought, test drive in the morning or during at noon, never later after 3pm where there’ll be normal people getting off work then head to dealership to car shop and/​or just as bored as me who hops from car dealership to car dealership to test drive.
