Starbucks

The only reason they get two stars is because the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Other than that, the actual prepping service is horrible. This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to! 30 minutes for a strawberry acai and iced vanilla coffee when you order inside. Their drive-​thru is a nightmare! I once waited 45 min, when there were only 3 cars ahead of me. This has happened several times! I’m not sure what’s going on inside but I see a lot chit chatting among them and not enough working. So annoyed that this is the only Starbucks in the high desert besides 29 palms.

Went though this Starbucks twice now once today and once a few months ago and both times there has been maybe 3 – 4 cars in front of me yet I’ve had to wait over a half hour for a coffee, not to mention they messed up my order both times I’ve gone there. If you go to this location I’d either go inside or expect a long wait. I’ll never go back here again.

I have been to this Starbucks many times and it’s the only drive thru close to me so I go there even though the wait time is so long. I wish this Starbucks would have quicker service. I have been forgotten about when I have been inside Starbucks and I have waited 50 minutes through the drive thru. I’m not sure if the baristas are super slow at making drinks or what it is but this should change because Starbucks drinks are incredible. I hope this changes or I hope the High Desert gets more Starbucks!

Waited in the drive thru line for 50 min!!! There were only 5 cars ahead of me. Employees are beyond slow and this is unfortunate. I will Never go to this location again.

I can’t believe how busy this place was on a Sunday morning! The employees were really rockin’ it to keep up with the demand of both the in-​store crowd as well as a packed drive through.
Service was prompt, location was clean. In line with a Starbucks experience. Would go again if in the area.

Something is going on here. Maybe new staff? Last time I waited in line in the drive-​through it took 25 minutes and today I sat there for 10 minutes and it literally did not move, not even one car. I get waiting in line, but there should be at least one car served in 10 minutes time. I came inside and there was hardly any line and 15 minutes later I am still standing here. Hopefully they’re just training new staff because I love this place.
Update: back to five. They’re just. That. Good!!!

I don’t understand why, but my average wait time for an americano here is usually 40 min. This Starbucks is really slow. Like, incredibly slow. The drive thru makes you want to die. I have been stuck in that line for over an hour before. Something is horribly wrong with this place. It is always fully staffed so I really don’t understand how this happens. Some mornings I have gone to Starbucks seen the line turned around gone to Ma Rouge down the street gotten a coffee and driven past Starbucks on my way back and the same cars are still in line. Really? I can’t. I just can’t.

20 min to get a cup of coffee. And only 3 people in line at the drive thru. My bad was I thought the first time time happened was an accident

This is the worst Starbucks ever! Unfortunately I have to come here every morning because it is the only one in the area. They are slow and disorganized. They mess up my order and a weekly basis. The staff often is talking so much to one another they cannot keep up on the drink orders. If you’re coming up this way, do yourself a favor and get your Starbucks before you come up. This is not the typical Starbucks experience.

Took about a half hour for 2 drinks today for some reason. Gave me a tall chai instead of grande, and to correct their mistake they poured my drink into a grande cup and added hot water. At least that’s what it tasted like they did.

The drive thru at this Starbucks is consistently slow. You can expect at least a 20 minute wait. Once you get to the counter, the staff is great. Not sure if this is a management problem or shear volume.

By far the WORST and I mean WORST drive thru service I have ever been too. they really need to step it up, it’s ridiculous waiting 15 – 20 min for a coffee.

This is the only Starbucks within miles (besides the one on the Marine Corp base) it’s a nice place, staff is friendly but this location is way too small the patio is bigger than the inside and a lot of the time it is a tight fit in this place and it takes a while to get your drink.

I asked for a Carmel mocha and the lady was like its $ 6 when other locations are $ 4 she was like «I have to charge you for the Carmel» WHO CHARGES FOR CARMEL!!! and she pulled a quick one on us she just gave us chocolate milk with Carmel like seriously that was my last time going there because it was BS

Nice location with a modern look. They weren’t busy and were quick to process my drink orders. There were 4 employees working, all seemed to be smiling and greeted the customers. I asked if fall flavors were available. I got a quick reply that PSL was in fact available. I also ordered black tea, but I didn’t specify hot, nor was I asked. When Zach had my order complete, it was in fact an iced tea he made. He mentioned he could get the hot tea right away and told me to keep the iced as well. It was an honest mistake and no ones fault. I had paid with my Mobil app and after this positive experience I wanted to leave a generous tip. The app never gave me the opportunity. Will definitely stop again when I’m passing through the area.

Love that there is a drive thru. The menu is typical Starbucks, I just seem to go there when they are out of a lot of stuff, on their menu. They are friendly & service is quick.

Let me first start by saying that basically all the services in Yucca Valley are sub-​par, bad attitudes and lack of gray matter rule this town. However, Starbucks has done the unimaginable, they found great employees that provide amazing service. Everyone who works at this location is incredibly friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

Came to this location with my grandma recently and it was HORRIBLE! Rude baristas and cashier had horrible customer service.

I have been here many times. I never had to wait too long for anything, service has always been good and the employees have always been pleasant. My drinks have always been pretty accurate as well.
Typical Starbucks, a bit larger than some and not so busy — at least not the miserable chaos that I have witnesses at some Los Angeles locations.

What else can I say good service Coffee cake and a caramel Frapuccino is what Starbucks is all about thumbs up
