I’ve been craving sushi for a while now but the last few restaurants I’ve tried tasted like the same mediocre stuff you can get from a grocery store. I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on food that would be sub par but atlas, my tastebuds won and I decided to try Nhinja since it is less than 5 minutes from my house. Best. Decision. Ever! Before I knew it, we annihilated $ 75 worth of food and were content and happy with very full bellies. I ordered spring rolls, egg rolls, egg drop soup, crispy honey chicken with noodles, sweet and sour shrimp with fried rice, chicken lo mein and for sushi, I ordered a California roll, firefly roll, Geisha roll, tempura roll and a Philly roll. I used the online ordering; it said about 25 minutes to prepare it and it was ready when I got there about 20 minutes later. I didn’t know the sweet and sour shrimp came with the sauce on it. Each place does it differently and I would have preferred to be able to dip it in the sauce, but it was still delicious. I do wish there was a way to order the fried rice without egg an onion in it online but there are no modifications for that. I’m not sure if you can order it without that stuff if you call it in either. The crispy honey chicken was amazing but I will get it with fried rice next time. Turns out we don’t like plain noodles, who knew? My sons said the spring and egg rolls were the best they have ever had and I have to agree with them. I almost didn’t get one because they wanted more. The egg drop soup was thick and full of flavor. I’m not sure which sushi I liked the best, it was all so good! Even my oldest son whom normally doesn’t like sushi ate some and enjoyed it. I think that the sushi was sliced slightly thinner than most places helped him like it more. I also like that the food wasn’t too greasy or salty like a lot of other places. Nhinja just gained several new repeat customers.

I recently moved out to the burbs, and went to grab some quick sushi. Nhinja is the fast food of sushi, so I wasn’t prepared for the long wait. At the okc location, most people just eat the sushi. I guess out here people go for the stir fry dishes. Because there were so many families getting take out entrees, it took forever to get two rolls. I ordered the samurai roll and a California roll. The samurai was topped with eel. I’m not sure what was up with the eel, but something seemed weird about it.

Not sure how they get away with calling this sushi. I have had better at a buffet. They slice the rolls thin, so 7 pieces here are equivalent to 5 at a decent sushi place and it was mostly rice. We really need a good sushi bar in Yukon /Mustang area. If you are one of the people that gave this place a good review, you have not had good sushi. Try out«Tokyo Japanese Restaurant» and then come back and try this. You will never write a good review for a place like this again.

I have visited twice. I did not like it either time. I had sushi the first time. I can’t remember which one. I ordered mandarin orange chicken the second time. I was disappointed that the meat was breaded. Also, there was too much sauce. I typically like my food with not such a heavy salt loaded sauce. The ginger dressing that comes with the house salad is mostly soy sauce with a hint of ginger. The white rice was good. Clean place. The employees are very nice. I won’t be returning.

2 mins from the house and our go to quick meal! Add some patio seating and live music and this would add some culture to the blah day to day along Mustang Rd.

Very fresh food. Simple, yet chic environment. Quick service. Sometimes inconsistent in flavor and portion size, but never have had bad food. I definitely recommend friends to check it out! Stop in for a quick bite when you get the chance!

The crispy honey chicken is my favorite thing on the menu! We have tried several sushi rolls and they are delicious. The kids love the Lo mein. All around, food is great and service is fast!

In loving Asian food, Nhinja keeps me from driving 30 minutes for a great Asian meal with matching atmosphere. They aren’t skimpy on portions, pricing is below expected, and the people who serve are so kind and patient!

This place rocks! Everything I have tried here has been great. Sushi, fried rice, cashew chicken, soup, egg rolls, spring rolls, you name it and it’s good. Bring your appetite because the portions aren’t small. Great restaurant addition to the yukon area!

Nhinja fills a void in the Yukon/Mustang area for good, non-greasy Asian cuisine. We have been twice and loved everything we had both times, including the egg rolls, sushi, a wok’d bowl and a noodle bowl. Hey, don’t judge– I’ve been missing my Asian fix in my hood so we made up for lost time. The standout for me was the lo mein noodle bowl. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the veggies were tender, and an added bonus is that my little boy loved the noodles and kept asking for more! I felt good feeding it to him because everything tasted fresh and not as salty or greasy as other lo meins I have had. Sushi was good, not earth shattering or comparable to some of the bigger places in OKC, but still good and I will get it again. I love the fresh, modern décor and the music in there last time was upbeat pop/rock that had us singing along with our lunch. The setup is great, allowing you to order, get your drink and silverware and sit for just a few minutes before your meal comes. Service has always been friendly and since you can see back to the kitchen, it is nice that they have smiles on their faces too. After being in there twice, I totally get it: I left smiling too!

Not a fan, seaweed salad was dry and seemed undercooked. First time I ever didn’t finish a sushi roll.

Ordered takeout. We were told it would be 20 minutes. We waited 25. When we arrived, we waited another ten and were followed out to the car. We were told that they had messed up our order and would bring the correct order back to the car. Five minutes later, they came out with our food. Many people were also waiting. Food is pretty good, but service is not great.

So… I was craving Chinese food. Really good Chinese food, so I had convinced myself I would drive from Yukon to Penn Square to bring back some Pei Wei takeout… don’t judge… I’ve done it before and it’s worth the drive. The suggestion came up to try Nhinja Sushi in Yukon on Mustang road. Okay… it’s closer and worth a shot. Wow! Were we pleasantly surprised. We decided to try an assortment since it’s myself, husband and a few hungry boys. We ordered the mandarin chicken, Kung pao, kids honey chicken, steak fried rice, dragon roll, dynamite roll, fried rice, some egg rolls and crab cream cheese puffs. Everything tasted fresh and a couple of items we thought were better than Pei Wei. I am a big fan of Pei Wei’s crab wontons and don’t feel like anyone can get close on taste and found that too be true this time. Not enough crab, too much cream cheese flavor. But I didn’t expect theirs to be as good or better so I wasn’t disappointed. Loved it all and the kids will be eating Chinese food leftovers for the next day. Quality was worth the value. Keep up the freshness!

I am very critical of all sushi places. I grew up with my mother and grandmother making Japanese meals. I know good Asian food. Nhinja is one of 4 metro location. When you first walk in your directed to a smaller sign showing some specials. As you walk back toward the register you have a wall length sign showing all your options. After ordering we barely had time to sit down before our very fresh gyoza arrived. Our food(wok crispy honey chicken & two sushi rolls) arrived. While the price is slightly more than other sushi places in Yukon, you can 100% tell why. The food is fresher, clearly just made(no frozen here) and I am pretty sure the spicy mayo on the Thunder roll was made from scratch. It does not taste like the normal store bought spicy mayo. the staff is friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. The cashier answered the few questions we did have and was really helpful. I will not only return I will bring my friends who have grown increasingly fed up with other sushi places(like the one on Garth Brooks blvd).
