Fondé en 2005.

Monkey has prided it’s self on evenings with delicious food, great happy hours, live music, amazing cocktails and a little mayhem. Monkey has long been a favorite among seasonaires and tourists alike with friendly laid back staff there to entertain and serve you everyday of the year.

Amazing burgers!!!
Juicy, tasteful and so massive that the biggest hunger is killed after eating them mom nom nom
We were looking for a real burger place, must of what you find is a take away style kinda diner, Monkey is amazing!!!
Totally something I’d suggest yo everyone coming to Chamonix.

Etablissement sympathique. Énormément d’anglais. Happy hours sur les burgers (–50%) durant un créneau horaire. Les hamburgers sont bons sans être transcendant. Le service est correct. Nous avons été rapidement servie. Le burger Chuck Norris est très très épicé ! Âme sensible, faire attention.

C’est un repère pour ceux qui parlent anglais. On né se croirait pas en France. Nous avons pris la formule à 10 € et j’ai profité du verre de vin gratuit pour le Check in. L’attente a été un peu longue environ 20 minutes parce que c’était le début du service je pense. Le service est ok. Le ultimate burger était excellent. La viande est mélangée avec du persil et d’autres choses certainement. Mon mari a pris un burger maryline et c’était aussi très bon. Je recommande donc. Un bon rapport qualité prix.

Super tasty burger. Like, really good meat. Also the fries and the cole slaw were not run-​of-​the-​mill, but great.
Reason I didn’t give it five stars is cause it’s hard to figure out how to order food on a busy night. The bar gets crowded, and the servers are busy handling all the people over there.

So good we went back the next night. Friendly service and outrageously tasty chicken burgers. Good selection of drinks including local beers. Super casual environment. Without a doubt I’ll be coming back next time I visit Chamonix.

Awesome! Comments as above are accurate. In the «seedy» part of town, although in a resort that’s not saying much. Definite expat bar, lots of Brits, some Americans and Canadians. Good «Monkey IPA» to divert from the crappy French beer found elsewhere in Chamonix. Good pub fare, reasonable prices. A refuge from dirty, chain smoking Frenchmen for dirty no account climbers.

Definitely worth hitting up on Thursday nights for the ½ price burger deal! Chicken «burgers» were amazing! Went back 3 nights in a row! Good happy hour deals and chill atmosphere. Bar staff were super friendly!

Standard crappy French beer and the occasional stabbing. Sometimes smells like pee. Friendly bar staff and low lighting hide the grubbiness. Open even on Tuesdays in November. Pool table. Funny ski bum local expat vibe. Total sausagefest. Highly recommended.

Located in Cham Sud and a favourite haunt of ex-​pats and resort staff. Occasional live music, sport on the telly and good beer (with regular happy hours), the Sunday lunches are also a treat and reasonably priced.
