Cruise Port of Ensenada

Nice and perk of going off-​season is no crowds to deal with. Disembarking the ship, we went along with the «welcoming committee» (see pics) with no intention to buy touristy pics, lol. There are shuffles to catch into town for a minimal fare. We enjoy walking and opted to stroll along & enjoy the views along the way.

I’ve been to this port a few times. Once the cruise ship docks that’s when the adventure begins. There’s a small shop for souvenirs. Do not bring any fruits with you if you’re leaving the ship. It will be confiscated before you leave the terminal.
One year, we were able to see sea lions sunning themselves at the end of the dock. I was hoping to hear them when we arrived earlier but it looks like they’re gone.
There are restrooms available. If you’re going on a tour there are meeting spots in this terminal.
You can stay and hang out in this area if you don’t want to go into town. When you decide to leave you do not need to pay $ 2 for a ride into town unless you’re you have mobility issues because you can actually walk into town. Along the way you will have some folks offer you to buy their souvenirs.
They’ve made a lot changes and it is starting to look nice.
