Almost cross street from Cabo Azul my time share. Bring your dancing moves as locals, vacationers and I’ll be there. Great bands and it’s ok if you have talent with vocals or harmonica to jam with the band on stage above the dance floor. It’s so loud I can hear the music from my friend’s house half mile away on golf course. Great drinks! Great service. Long term employees. Safe area even when late and you stumble home. Burgers and food are average but never bad! Ok, see you soon. Remember there’s no bad day in Mexico!

Rock & Brews has the best Coronitas! Great flavor, nice staff, and beautiful views plus they had a 2 for 1 special … doesn’t get much better than that! My fiancé loved it so much he even bought a hat. Since we’re CA natives it was also a nice break to find tasty pizza and a salad.

I was staying at a resort across the street from Rock and Brews during Christmas week. After trying almost all the restaurants in this«gringo friendly» strip they all leave much to be desired. You are much better off heading into town and eating at those restaurants. That being said, we ate at Rock and Brews for lunch one day and it was ok. I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and it wasn’t bad. They have a decent selection of local beers which I appreciate. The service was very good and they have plenty of outdoor seating which is nice on one of San Jose’s many sunny days!

This place is a godsend if you are staying across the street at the Royal Solaris. Still the food and service is solid on its own merits. The spicy Asian chicken wings here are amazing. I had a burger which was really good as well. Super cool rock memorabilia too.

Nice and wide open restaurant but it only has five bar stools. I don’t get that. However, the bartender was nice and the DJ was playing the Eagles.

We came on a Tuesday night which was awesome because it happens to be ladies night where they have free drinks from 7−11pm. The food was delicious and there was also love band which wasn’t too great but it was fun to watch with dinner.

Pretty disappointed. Didn’t even get the chance to eat the food here, but was looking forward to it. My dad, who I was with, had one prior good experience, but not this time. So, the two stars are 1, the food was good according to my dad who’d been here before, and 2, they have Dos Equis Amber on tap. However, we went on a Wednesday, and at this location, they have 2×1 pizza night on Wednesday. But, we got some BS about the pizza oven not working and the manager said, «well, it works, but it’s gonna be 2 hours before I can put your pizza in and then each one will take 20 minutes to cook… but, I can’t offer you anything else comparable… lo siento». We tried to then continue on, and ordered a pitcher of Amber, and then they brought the wrong beer. Needless to say, we left and went to get a pizza at the Italian place a few doors down, but the kicker… as I was leaving, I saw an entire table get their pizzas all at once. Just not even up to par. Gene needs to make a visit and check-up on this operation…

Not bad. When we arrived they were airing a soccer game and I noticed they had plenty of televisions around. They have a good selection of local craft beers on tap from two different breweries at a reasonable price. We each ordered an individual pizza and thought they were good(acceptable, not great) one problem was that we each actually ordered the same pizza, but they brought us two different pizzas. All in all the experience wasn’t bad, but the service wasn’t great.

We went for the 2×1 pizza night and were not disappointed. The crust was thin the way we like it and plenty of toppings. The beer was cold and we had a nice choice of tequila for shots afterwards. Service was very good and had a nice conversation with«Danny».

Pretty cool place. The music was good, the building was cool. The drinks were weak and the place was empty. The band, however, was awesome! Blown away by them. Id go back, but its probably not on the top of my list.

Came here with the family to «get away» from the resorts for a while. Was a good change of pace. It’s definitely catering to the American tourist. Brought the family and sat outside in autumn– very nice and the food was good, though not great. Define tally glad we came here and probably stopping back to watch a game or two before we leave.

Good pizza especially as a break from the holiday inn all inclusive mediocre buffets. Good selection of the standard Mexican beers as well as the local baja brewery and Tijuana brewery. Service is quick almost to the point of hovering. You don’t have take the paper napkin after each time After I whipe my mouth or pull from under my plate. Wierd!

What an odd idea, to open up a «bar & grill» in front of a bunch of resorts, but I guess it would make the Americans feel at home. It worked, because our party wanted to go here on our first night in San Jose! I’ll admit that I was excited to come in. I mean who doesn’t love rock, who doesn’t love brews? The place looks great, a big stage above the bar with a big, illuminated«KISS» sign in the background, a ton of cool album covers painted on the wall, a giant Pink Floyd«pig» hung from the ceiling, multiple screens, and best of all, FREEWIFI! Trust me, the Wi-Fi is a big deal here! Menu is just American. Food isn’t the best. I tried a pizza that was like an enlarged Lunchable pizza, hot wings that were more like a spicy sweet than traditional buffalo sauce, and a relatively tasty burger that was just the right amount of spice. A few days later, I came in to try to catch«ladies night», but missed it by about 30 minutes. It was still packed with tourists, with a few locals. Good music, and tipsy tourists, good combo! Service is friendly overall, though slow and not very attentive. This turned out to be the norm in most of the resort towns that we visited. Given where they are, and the Wi-Fi, a solid 3 star.
