If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Dita von Teese, the Corset Shop will already be your second home. For the rest of us, including me, the window display of this little shop is too beautiful to just walk past. It’s totally worth going in just to admire the exquisite work that goes into each corset, like I did, and for the odd feeling that you’re in a time warp. Apparently, this is New Zealand’s only specialty corset shop, and they sure sell some serious machines — some of the corsets have steel in them! Ouch. Good place to go if you want to make people wonder where you keep your internal organs.
