MacLaurin Chapel

Looking for a little slice of tranquility amongst the busy hustle bustle of University life? MacLaurin Chapel is cosy and out of the way, so you just follow the winding path from the Library, or alternatively off Princes St, and find yourself in a quaint building. It has one part with many desks, where you can meet with your study groups and discuss your assignments. Or alternatively, go at quieter times of the day and do some personal study. They have a number of places to plug your laptop into, and a few couches as well if you just want to chill.
Outside is a beautiful tree you can swing from, or lie under. Plenty of shade and grass nearby if you need some downtime or a quiet spot for reflection. They also have special services and prayer times in the chapel part, where you can find someone to chat too about any issues you have. It’s great to have that support and a facility to use throughout your university days.
