Sol y Sombra

What can I say… I live near, so you might see me often there!
The only problem: small place for so many customers.
The good stuff: everything else! The food (patatas bravas is mandatory to try as well bocadillos), the house wine is quite ok and they have spanish beer (estrella). Some Thursdays they have an event that makes it impossible to find a table but for sure you can meet people, practice your spanish and listen to live music.
If you are from Peninsula Iberica, you will feel a bit like home. Staff is made by polish and spanish speakers and they are really friendly and useful! The owner, polish, is also nice and worries about his customers.

Another hidden gem in warsaw:) Typical spanish restaurant located at the backside of building on ul. grzybowska, it is a little tricky to find it.
You can eat different kind of tapas, paella and drink draft spanish beers and wines here.
So far, i tried mussel tapas and paella both of them are delicious but if you want to eat paella you should go at least 2 – 3 person (portion is huge just keep in mind)
Also you can drink draft estralla beer and some good spanish wines
Quality of service is good and prepare to see lots of spanish speaking people inside.

Quick service, friendly personnel, tasty food, good wine and you firget that you are in Warsow and not in Somewhete in Spain :-)

Queridos seguidores y amigos de Unilocal,lo primero pedirles disculpas, ¡pero sentía que esta reseña debía de ser escrita en español!
Sol y sombra es un bar de tamaño medio, como cualquiera de los miles que puedes encontrar por España, así que digamos que refleja bien su espíritu. El interior es de colores rojizos mezclados con madera oscura. En resumen es un lugar agradable para tomarse una cerveza en los fríos inviernos de Varsovia ¡o incluso un bonito día de sol en su terraza!
Personalmente he probado las raciones de patatas bravas (la salsa de tomate, es espectacular, está bastante bien conseguida, y créeme, te lo dice una castellana ;)) y los pimientos de padrón.
Puede sonar un poco friki, pero sin duda alguna lo que más me gusta del Sol y Sombra ¡es su baño!, vamos… ¡es una plazas de toros! me pareció muy original la disposición del mobiliario y bueno, es obvio que de ahí el nombre del local.
Otro punto a tener en cuenta es que además patrocinan a un equipo local de fútbol formado por españoles. Sí, me gusta, y es probable que a pesar de mi reticencia a ir a sitios españoles fuera de nuestras fronteras, no imponga pega alguna cuando alguien me diga de ir a tomar unas cañas y picar algo :)
