Well, I am not a coffee connoisseur, but I like the cappuccino Vienna here, probably primarily because I like whipped cream. It has a nice ambience. A good place for a group of friends to chillax and chat.

I will not becoming back here again. I was not impressed by the coffee and the service was terrible. I would have sad around to work towards finishing the weak watery tasting coffee had it not been for the waitress who was treating the customer sitting next to me as if it was too much of a chore to take a simple order. There is better coffee nearby and I suggest you go there.

Great coffee as always by 18Grams, this location uses another blend vs their other stores. So expect the taste of their espresso to be a bit different. Causeway bay uses«black sheep» and citysuper uses«Big bad wolf» and this shop uses«underdog». The flexibility of they own roaster allow them to switch blend in different shop. Great shop, great location off exit of MTR exit A2. And nice warm décor. Solid food taste and selection. Good place to be if you are ever around the area or a quick to go coffee.

Pros: — Most convenient — Good for grab a quick and go coffee — Decent taste — 38HKD for a small late, 44 for a large(i like how the two size are just small and large). Cons: — Coffee is not as strong as i like — Pricey(but again, all specialty coffee shops are) — Small place 18 Grams is a very distinguishable coffee shop. Its located directly across Sheung Wan exit A2 which makes it VERY convenient to grab a cup of coffee before going to the office. Service is friendly and the coffee is decent. They offer a variety of coffee, pours, beans from all around the world and pastries. Tea set menu is affordable although i’ve never tried the food. Coffee does not taste as good as cupping room but still way better than Starbucks and Pacific Coffee. The shop has a nice coffee hipster vibe to it and the service is fast and friendly. The fact that when i get off the crowded morning commute MTR and can access a good cup of joe right away makes this place shine for me. I dont have to walk all the way to the others and i can head straight to the office(as i’m often late in the morning).

Conveniently located near the entrance to the MRT, 18 Grams is a great café to get your caffeine hit before you start your day. It’s an interesting layout as you weave your way up a small staircase and in to the café. There’s limited seating, but it seems people don’t hang around too much(at least they didn’t on the weekdays I was there) so grab a chair if you want to take your time over your coffee. If you’re from elsewhere then ask the staff advice about the best coffee to order that matches what you order back home. I asked for a strong flat white and got a monster of a milky coffee, akin to what I would call an extra extra large flat white back in Melbourne. Dine in and you’ll also be given a complimentary mini cookie on the side of your coffee saucer — win!

First off, I am not a coffee addict, as a matter of fact, I don’t even drink that much coffee… maybe once a month? So I am definitely not an expert on coffee. Anyways, that certainly did not stop me from looking for nice coffee joints. I am sure when people talk about 18 Grams, one would automatically think of the one in Causeway Bay. However did you know now they have a branch in Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Shui and also in Sheung Wan? All those are not so spacious but most people come here for a quick coffee. With high turnover rate, normally it does not take long to get a seat. The name — 18 Grams refers to the weight of grinded coffee to make an espresso. The environment here is very cozy and the staff seem rather likable and love to interact ith its customers, they suggested me to try Flat White as it is one of the most popular items here. It is made with steamed milk and a shot of expresso. Very smooth and I liked it so very much. I also ordered chocolate pudding that was so nicely done. Kind of bittersweet and I enjoyed it tremendously. Anyways, this is one of those coffee joints I will revisit again not just because of its coffee but also because of its service and the environment. However, since there are very limited seats… waiting for tables during summer in Hong Kong can be quite an ordeal…
