Pacific Coffee

I’ll tell you why this is the best café in Asia World Expo, but let me first tell you about the situation food wise in this exhibition centre. There are a few choices when it comes to meals/​snacking/​drink (main ones being at Terminal 2 at the airport though). They are okay — when I compare them to the ones at HKCEC, they look rather similar to me, but at the latter you can get out of the building and get to Wan Chai in less than 5 minutes where food options are almost infinite-​. If you just fancy a snack, Starbucks or Pacific Coffee are your best options in Asia World Expo. Or should I say Pacific Coffee. I got out of my booth at lunch time and as I suspected everything was packed. My first option was Starbucks as I only fancied a coffee but here was a long queue so I decided to go to Pacific Coffee where there were 3 PEOPLE. What’s the difference? In terms of the quality of the coffee, none; they both serve mainstream coffee, both okay. Price wise, Pacific Coffee is cheaper. Why would you wait a long queue at Starbucks just to get a coffee??? This is a work place; I don’t think people have much time to spend waiting to grab a drink.
At PC, they were quick and served as expected, and on my way back to the booth I still saw the same people queuing… so this is basically my suggestion if, for some reason, you have to go there to work. Walk around the corner and get your drink in less than three minutes. It makes so much more sense.
