Burger King

The thing about vast chains like Burger King is that they don’t vary much from place to place (if at all). Size is about the only thing that differs one from another. This particular restaurant is pretty spacious, with plenty of seating, and it’s also located in a convenient area with a Ben and Jerry’s across the way and a nice area with fountains just outside. This makes it a decent place to pick up a burger, although with the vastly superior GBK directly opposite, I have to say that you’re better off going there.

This must be one of the prestiguous Burger King restaurants, comes modernly fitted complete with Plasma TV screens on the walls. Fitted in next to Pizza Hut just inside Festival Place by the Food Plaza.
Frequented by lots of school kids and shoppers, it tends to get quite busy, but being different to McDonalds I always prefer Burger King if I get the chance.
Always clean and plenty of staff about serving, cooking and cleaning. A nice fast food restaurant to visit!

I enjoy taking my son to Burger King as he enjoys the atmosphere and can also get his meal quickly. The burgers I think are very nice and I like that fact that they put tomatoes, lettuce etc in the burger as it makes it quite tasty. Sometimes I get the lighter option of a warm chicken salad which is surprisingly fillling. The staff are usually warm, friendly and helpful although I have on occasion had items missing from my order so I always tend to check the contents before I sit down. Seating can be a problem I sometimes as it is usually quite crowded but saying that I have never had problems finding a seat. Sometimes the tables are not cleared and I would like it a bit cleaner than I find them sometimes. I think the prices are very reasonable and can usually get myself and son a decent meal for under £10. I do worry about his health though and we only visit as a treat maybe once a month sometimes more though if I happen to have my son with me in town. I can always get my son to behave (he’s only 5) when I’m shopping if I promise him a trip to Burger King afterwards so it does come in handy!

This place is a dump! It’s disorganised, the staff are unfriendly, slow to serve you your food, and the food tastes like it has been micro waved There is nothing worse than a bit of warm lettuce in a burger now is there?! Burger King needs to wake up and look at this resturant and see that it needs some work the seats are uncomfortable and the whole place feels stuck in the late 80’s.
