Yum Yum Chicken

Yum Yum Chicken is located in Martinaeu Place. just behind the Newly refurb staybridge Hotel. Been a regular here during University time. Place been here for many years. Used to come down for lunch with classmates. It’s the only good chippy in town with food that feels fresh.
As you can tell from the name, they specialise in chicken. Fried and Grilled. They do peri peri chicken like nandos, just as good. Their Peri peri chicken are the popular one on menu, not so much for fried chicken, i’ve had better elsewhere. It’s not bad though.
They also have variety of burgers. Fried, grilled with different level of spice (mild-​hot)
I moslty get grilled burger (medium hot) or southern fried chicken burger with curly fries. I love curley fries, you get some that are crispy and some soft. They also do wedges and normal fries.
They have an upstairs seating which is quite large and have and outdoor terrace tables that is perfect on a hot day.
It used to get busy during the day, quite popular with teenagers. Now with so many food shops opening next door and opposite they seem to loose a bit of customers. Was not as busy as used to be when I went recently. They have competition from Carribean Take away, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Fri-​days and new ones opened not long (Sushi Time and Shawarma)
Still not bad place and food is good. £4 for a meal, not bad for a take away in City Centre

Yum Yum Chicken provide a range of healthy chicken dishes to eat in or take away together with desserts, drinks and a veriety of milkshakes to choose from whether its Fererro, Oreo or Snickers. All items in the restaurant are served on crockery plates and dishes. Whether it’s SFC or grilled Peri Peri chicken they serve all types of chicken

It has a balcony seating area where you could enjoy the sun in summer with family and friends. It’s the only place in Birmingham City Centre to have its own balcony area. They have a wide range of sheesha available to enjoy on the balcony.

I went to Yum Yum chicken on the first day it openend and was quite impressed. they do chicken in every way it comes, southern fried, piri piri, drummers, hot wings etc etc. They also have a fantastic range of chocolate bar milkshakes, from snickers to ferrero rocher and they use the actual chocolate. its great :-)
