Pizza Hut

Went for the buffet lunch as we’d quite enjoyed it previously, but boy has it gone downhill!
Salad bar options had really dropped in quality. Some of the pizza was fairly decent, though some was a little dried out or overdone. Worst was their garlic bread. Disappointing not to be able to enjoy the tasteless flat hard strips they were pushing out. I wouldn’t have thrown it to a starving duck.
The restaurant floor was covered by just two staff. They were superb to be honest. But they need more staff, buffet time or not. Would have been frustrating trying to get a drink refill when you fancy one, a problem we’ve had there in the past too. Sometimes you’re left gasping for a refill for over ten minutes during buffet times.
We had the good idea to ask for the bill before we were finished. I dread to think of those two waiting staff trying to take payments when everybody finished their buffets. We were out of there. I bet many were left sat in piles of dirty plates for ages half an hour later.
Pizza Hut. I know you need a profit. But the food was in decline and you need at least one more waiter or waitress on the floor. We’ll not be bothering again until we hear of an upturn in your efforts there.

Pizza was as tasty as ever, as was the salad if only they would keep an eye on it and keep it freshly topped up. Strangely it’s usually their salad that tempts me there in the first place and the lettuce was just a little old. Service was ok, but was really disappointed to see the whole floor area was covered in droppings of food! So much so that I virtually had to tiptoe to the salad cart for fear of breaking my neck. Sorry how hard is it to sweep up? It should be a priority no matter how busy you are. Hence the rating.

Good food as always. Service wasn’t slow although we were there early so not many people in there. Free unlimited salad with any pizza! Result!

This Pizza hut can get really busy and normally it seems quite understaffed especially in the evening. Service can be quite slow. The buffet during the week doesn’t always have a great availability with different types of pizza but the salad bar is normally kept well stocked, they also have an ice cream factory. There are plenty of seats and there is also loads of parking nearby which is free. Its not a bad restaurant for a cheap night out with kids, but its definitely not somewhere to go if you want good and fast service — if you’re planning to go before going to the nearby cinema or if you have plans then make sure to give yourself plenty of time to eat.

This Pizza Hut is located in the Peel Centre, next to the cinema and bowling alley. It’s reasonably new there, having moved from near Princess Square a few years ago. The food is average, tends to be a hangout for local teenagers and the service is slow.

The food is average and the service was not very quick.
There did not seem enough staff to manage all the tables.
There is good parking.

The staff are friendly but tend to be young so tend to chat away in groups and not serve you. The food is sometimes nice but other times not up to standard, you have to wait ages to get your food as well.

OK food, but very poor slow service i would recommend the lunchtime buffet for quickness and value for money. Pizza Hut offer an unlimited refill on drinks which is also very good.
