So let me contextualise this review a little for everyone. It started with Tim L. who created a thread regarding what kind of restaurant would we open and one thing lead to another or should I say one Thalie A. led to a Josy A. who led to an Ela T. and here we are talking about buffets of all types good and bad. I’ll be honest the more involve I got in to this conversation the more I had a craving for a Chinese buffet, so what did I do, I hid until the sun came down and out I went in search for my closet Chinese buffet fix. Yes just like that a simple conversation through Unilocal led me to a table with a fork in my hands within hours. Josy A. said I should be disappointed with the quality of the food I find which was sound advise to be honest as I was out to satisfy«the eternal hunger» that was a upon me. The second I’ve entered this place and the first time was not good it was bad but this time was different I had«the eternal hunger» which will last forever until my craving was satisfied for Chinese. I’d almost forgot this place is not Chinese it’s a selection of pan Asia dishes ranging from Thai to Indian, which also had a barbecue station for grilled meet and veg as well as a man bread station that cooked the nan bread fresh in front if you. For £15 this is a good buffet purely because it was cheaper than the amount discussed in our thread but also the vast selection of food on offer. I feel my tip was accurate when I said indulge and overload, as I am now suffering from a pan Asia food coma onslaught all because I took Tim L’s thread a little too far.

Defo a place to take your partner or go in a group. Great service, was welcomed and spoken to about the resturant and how i go about getting the food i want. All food apart from the mexican for me was nice. The deserts was limited in selection I went on a saturday night, its quite busy and cramped as they obviously want as many customers as possible. Walking room isnt a lot. I think the time slots is fair as you get 2 hours to enjoy your meal. I think the pricing was great value for the different selections you had. I think the drinks were a little expensive to what im used to. I felt a little rushed nearer the end of the 2 hour slot with about 20 minutes to spare. There were a lot of birthday celebrations that were going on and the waiters gave a little praising performance. I think this only happens of you come with more than 10 people becuase it was my birthday and i came with 3 other people i didnt get one :(. I would defo go back there again. It was a nice experience As this was the first resturant id been to in a long time, i wasnt aware of the service charge which was optional to pay for. It was like an extra £7 to a bill which was a little bit under £80. Wasnt a problem though.

Amazing food, tremendous choice, so fresh! You pay less than £10 for all you can eat option. Cooks can also prepare a dish of your liking if you ask. Not crowded in lunch time.

I went to this restaurant about a month after it opened. It is very popular, presumably due to its excellent value for money. You can eat as much as you like for about £15 from the self-service buffet. The food is quite good quality for a place that doesn’t specialise in a single cuisine. The atmosphere is always buzzing, and whenever I walk past it I can see it is almost full even on weekday evenings. The customers are of all ages, some are couples, some are in groups, some are celebrating birthdays and some go there after work. Even when it’s very busy, you will have no problem getting the attention of a waiter. There are many members of staff and they are all quite young, and very friendly(to the point where I would question the sincerity of their friendliness). Some seem quite new to the trade, so I guess they were recruited specifically for the restaurant’s opening; but they all seem eager to serve. My bill for two came to £42, which consisted of about £30 for the two meals, about £8 for two drinks, and a 10% service charge which was added to the bill. The friendly waiter who gave me the bill asked if I would pay in cash or by card; when I replied card, the waiter then took my card, explained how much the staff liked to please their customers, asked us if we really enjoyed our experience, and then asked how much I would like to put on the card. I hadn’t realised at the time that service charge was already included, so ended up paying for service twice. One star deducted for that.

Buddha Belly doesn’t purvey the finest cuisine by any means, but for around £15 you get all you can eat from a big array of Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian and Thai. The service is excellent, atmosphere pleasant and the food is tasty. It’s the kind of place I wish was a chain so I wouldn’t have to trek all the way to Bromley to experience it again!
